1 . G E N E R AL
1.1. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)
1.1.1. GENERAL
LVP will be in force when:
- RVR at TDZ RWY 20 is equal to or less than 550m; and/or
- cloud base height is below 200' according to meteorological local report;
and/or
- sky obscured according to meteorological local report; and/or
- the deterioration of weather conditions recommends so.
Pilots will be informed by RTF when LVP are in force.
1.1.2. RWY OPERATIONS
In case of visibility equal or less than 1500m and/or in reduced visibility condi-
tions and/or during nighttime, are allowed:
- approaches and landings ILS CAT I for RWY 20;
- take-off for RWY 02 with RVR not less than 400m on both RVR point (TDZ and
MID).
1.1.3. AERODROME OPERATING MINIMUMS
No operations allowed with RVR less than 400m.
1.1.4. GROUND MOVEMENT
In case visibility conditions are not sufficient for the TWR to maintain visual
monitoring of the maneuvering area (in whole or in part) only one movement at a
time is allowed:
- a departing ACFT shall be authorized to move from the stand to the holding
point only when the arriving ACFT is on the ground and has confirmed to have
reached the stand, or the departing ACFT has confirmed the take-off;
- an ACFT shall be authorized to land only when preceding arriving ACFT is on
the ground and has confirmed to have reached the stand, or the departing ACFT
has confirmed the take-off;
- ACFT of the General Aviation Area shall reach release point D1, D2, F1 only
with Follow-me assistance, viceversa ACFT coming from the RWY and heading
towards the General Aviation Area will stop at the release point D1, D2 or F1
and will proceed only with Follow-me assistance;
- Follow-me service is available upon request.

1.2. RWY OPERATIONS


Take-off and landing: apply a 15% reduction to the maximum demonstrated cross-
wind component published in the ACFT Operating Manual.

1.3. TAXI PROCEDURES


1.3.1. LIMITATIONS AND REGULATIONS ON APRONS 100/300
Start-up for departing ACFT will be provided only after ATC has received "ACFT
READY" communication by the aerodrome operator.
"ACFT READY" status means:
- ACFT doors and holds are closed;
- ACFT safe area clear from vehicles, equipment, obstacles and ground
personnel;
- ACFT fully ready for taxi;
- compulsory documentation provided to handler.

1.3.2. ACFT MOVEMENT ON APRONS
Apron 100 - Self maneuvering:
- Entrance to apron 100 may occur only via TWY B or C.
- Exit from apron 100 occurs normally via TWY C.
Only one movement is allowed at a time inside the apron.
Apron 300 - Self maneuvering:
- Exit from apron 300 occurs normally via TWY A.
Only one movement is allowed at a time inside the apron.
Marshalling is assured for all ACFT from/to apron 100 and apron 300.
1.3.3. GENERAL AVIATION AREA
- Only one ACFT movement at a time is allowed. Arriving ACFT will normally
have taxing priority over departing ACFT.
- Departing ACFT must contact PARMA Tower on release position D1, D2 or F1.
- Arriving ACFT must close communication with PARMA Tower on release posi-
tion D1, D2 or F1.
- Turning on/off the engines allowed only on release point D1, D2 or F1.

2 . ARR I V AL
2.1. COMMUNICATION FAILURE
In the event of communication failure the reporting point designated to descend
for landing is SUXIL.
Whenever an ACFT operating in the maneuvering area experiences a communica-
tion failure, it shall comply with the following:
Shall vacate the RWY and wait for the arrival of the Follow-me car in order to be
guided to the stand.
