extension tube.

Ignition Coil-on-Plug Service Information

The improved Coil-on-Plug Coil Extensions have a replaceable O-ring fitted

within the coil extension tube at the spark plug end of the tube. It is
recommended that the O-rings be replaced in conjunction with replacing the
spark plugs at their recommended service interval.

It is recommended that the improved coil extension tubes be replaced after every
15,000 hours of operation.

The coil extension tube should be tightened to 7N.m or a 40-50° turn after the
extension is seated to the coil.

The Kit, Spark Plug contains a new spark plug, coil extension O-ring and a
packet of dielectric grease.

The dielectric grease should be used to lubricate the O-ring to help seal any
small air gaps between the O-ring and the spark plug porcelain. The dielectric
grease must be used sparingly; over-application can cause ignition system
misfires. The dielectric grease should only be applied to the O-ring.
