1 . G EN E R AL
1.1. ATIS
ATIS 118.425

1.2. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES


1.2.1. DEPARTURES
1.2.1.1. DEPARTURE CLEARANCE
ATC departure clearance is available on DUBROVNIK Tower frequency 15 minutes
before start-up.
1.2.1.2. RWY 29
ACFT operators shall follow ACFT manufacturer's noise abatement recommended
procedures up to FL 100, or the procedure below:
Take-off to 1350': Climb at V2 + 10 KT.
at 1350': Adjust and maintain engine/thrust in accordance with the
noise abatement power/thrust schedule provided in the ACFT
operating manual.
Maintain climb speed of V2 + 10 KT to 20 KT with flaps and
slats in the take-off configuration.
at 3500': Maintain positive rate of climb, accelerate and retract flaps/
slats on schedule.

1.3. RWY OPERATIONS


Preferential configuration/RWY in use is RWY 11.

1.4. TAXI PROCEDURES


For Taxi Restrictions refer to 10-9 charts.
When ACFT with wingspan greater than 157'/47,8m is taxiing on apron TWY
between stands 8 and 16, special conditions can be expected.
During code letter E ACFT taxiing between TWY G and TWY W slow taxi speed is
required.
During taxi on TWY B by code letter E ACFT with 4 engines, outer engines shall be
used on idle power only.
When entering the apron, it is mandatory to stop at Hold For Follow-me position
and wait for the Follow-me vehicle and guidance.

1.5. PARKING INFORMATION


Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System at stands 10, 10A, 11, 12, 14 and 14A.
In case of APIS failure, strictly follow marshaller instructions.
Stands 1 thru 27, 10A, 14A and G6 are taxi-in and push-out.
Stands G11 thru G19 and G31 thru G35 are push-in and taxi-out.
During code letter F ACFT ground movement, outer engines shall be used on idle
power only.
Pilots shall state their parking position number on initial contact with ATC.
TWR directions, Follow-me and marshaller guidance shall be followed for enter-
ing to/exiting from any of ACFT and/or helicopters positions.
Stands 1A, 4A, 16A, G1 thru G5, G21 thru G25 and H1 thru H4 are self-
maneuvering.
For ACFT engine testing stands 1 thru 21 can be used, with mandatory TWR prior
approval.

1.6. OTHER
Caution: Birds.
Warning: Gusts, windshear and turbulence can be expected on final APCH and on
RWY in conditions of strong North-Easterly wind.

2 . D E P AR T U R E
2.1. START-UP, PUSH-BACK AND TAXI PROCEDURES
ACFT engine start-up is forbidden at stands 22 thru 27. Start-up will be approved
after push-out to holding position J.
For taxi-out, ACFT shall request start-up clearance after communication with the
ground crew has been established.
In case of self-maneuvering from nose-in positions (1 thru 9, 15 thru 21), usage of
both engines is strongly recommended. In case that one engine is used, special
caution is advised in respect of the need that engine on the opposite side from
turning direction should be used.
ACFT shall request push-back and start-up clearance after:
- Push-back vehicle has been attached;
- Communication with the ground crew has been established;
- ACFT is ready to commence push-back.
Push-back clearance issued by ATC shall contain RWY in use.
RWY in use shall be relayed to the ground crew by the flight deck.

2.2. PREFERENTIAL SID


When RWY 29 is in use, for deconfliction purposes between departing and arriving
traffic, preferential SID is DOPUT 4D.
Expect vectors or direct routing by DUBROVNIK Radar back to flight plan route.

GO AROUND PROCEDURE:
In case of visual go-around on final track
proceed STRAIGHT AHEAD, at D5.0 join and follow R-295 climbing 5000'
to D23.0 and hold or follow ATC instructions.
If unable to reach 5000' at D23.0, advise ATC.
CAUTION:
Visual approach track to RWY 29 to be used by means of visual reference
only.
VOR radials, waypoints, distances and speed limit information are for
improved situational awareness only.
Obstacle clearance during the visual approach and visual go-around is
responsibility of pilot flying.
