    Lubricants for various Decanters and Gear boxes

    This Service Information replaces 9727-4 revision 20.07.2001.

    The list below shows the lubricants which is recommended by Alfa Laval for use on NX decanters.
    Different types of lubricants are available in different quantities identified by a unique part no.

    The bulletin also shows other types of lubricants accepted by Alfa Laval.

    Attention !!!!
    If changing from one grease type to another, it will be necessary to disassemble all bearings and remove old
    grease by washing the bearing itself in petrol or similar detergent. Other parts must be carefully cleaned of old
    grease. When having reassembled the cleaned bearing parts , the new type of grease can be supplied.
