As the global economy continues to evolve, supply chain management has become increasingly complex due to factors such as globalization and the 4th industrial revolution. In this dynamic environment, there is need of agility and collaboration between the supply chain processes to achieve the supply chain excellence. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the implementation of Blockchain Technology can revolutionize the way integration, agility, and collaboration within supply chain operations. By examining real-world scenarios and gathering data from manufacturing industry, supply chain practitioners in Oman and Pakistan, this study aims to provide empirical evidence of the profound impact of Blockchain Technology. It explores how this technology acts as a catalyst, enabling seamless integration of supply chain processes, enhancing the agility to adapt to rapid market changes, and fostering collaborative relationships among stakeholders. Data were collected from 220 respondents working in the manufacturing industry's supply chain practices in Oman and Pakistan, using a convenient sampling technique. Demographic analysis, factor loading, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted on the variables using SPSS and Smart PLS tools. The research findings indicate that Supply Chain Agility, Supply Chain Integration, and Supply Chain Collaboration are directly and positively related to Supply Chain Performance. Our study demonstrates that blockchain technology can enhance supply chain agility, integration, and collaboration, indirectly improving overall supply chain performance. It contributes to both practitioners and researchers in the field, adding value to academic research and assisting supply chain managers in adopting Blockchain Technology. This adoption, in turn, can lead to improved supply chain performance.

OBJECTIVE To establish a relationship between sub acromial bursa and shoulder impingement by determining its presence or absence in sub acromial space. To determine the novel prospects and favourable outcome after surgery in shoulder impingement syndrome. Methods Over 1000 patients with the diagnosis of shoulder impingement were studied from 2003 to 2020 at Manor Teaching Hospital, Walsall, UK. During Arthroscopy, the findings were noted and documented. The sub acromial bursa and its presence or absence was noted along with kissing lesion of supraspinatus confirmed at Arthroscopy. Functional outcome in all patients was assessed with q-Dash score and pain relief was documented with VAS (Visual Analogue Scale). RESULTS Sub acromial decompression did not completely resolve symptoms in 649(64.9%) patients having adequate bursa and no kissing lesion. Therefore, a cause other than acromion impingement was considered. However, in 351(35.1%) patients without any bursal tissue, sub acromial ...

Empowerment of the disadvantaged and the marginalised in a society is one of the inherent commitments of meaningful social mobilisation, both in theory and practice. One of the core aspects of social mobilisation is to engage with relations of power and reorganise them in favour of the disadvantaged. For a marginalised group in a community, this requires the capacity to define their goals and the environment or the freedom (to act) to achieve those goals – an aspect referred to in development literature as collective agency. Collective agency transforms into collective action when the interests of several social actors converge and lead to voluntary engagement to achieve a common cause. Community organisations, established through a process of social mobilisation, are increasingly viewed as a mechanism in community development to create collective agency, spur collective action and empower lower-status groups or the disadvantaged. However, some empirical studies conducted to scrutini...

The Canadian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) accounted for $60.6 billion to Canadian Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 2006. In this paper, we analyze the dynamics and the key factors involved in the downfall of the ICT sector during the period of 2000-2003. In particular, we discuss factors including low-cost capital, irrational forecasts, excessive investment in innovative solutions, excessive demand, lack of vision, lack of product differentially, and poor business models. The analysis depicts the current trend in telecom sector, and predicts what future holds for it. The study forecasts the rate of growth of the ICT telecommunication sector till 2015, draws a comparison of GDPs with and without telecom contributions, and demonstrates the impact of telecom sector on the ICT and Canadian economy. We also refer to disruptive technologies that may cause a significant impact on the economy in the near future.

The ever-growing ecosystem of the Internet of Things (IoT) integrating with the ever-evolving wireless communication technology paves the way for adopting new applications in a smart society. The core concept of smart society emphasizes utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure to improve every aspect of life. Among the variety of smart services, eHealth is at the forefront of these promises. eHealth is rapidly gaining popularity to overcome the insufficient healthcare services and provide patient-centric treatment for the rising aging population with chronic diseases. Keeping in view the sensitivity of medical data, this interfacing between healthcare and technology has raised many security concerns. Among the many contemporary solutions, attribute-based encryption (ABE) is the dominant technology because of its inherent support for one-to-many transfer and fine-grained access control mechanisms to confidential medical data. ABE uses costly bilinear pa...

The major issue of concern right now is how to run a project successfully and efficiently. The ultimate goal is to achieve a project performance and information technology is becoming noticeably progressively centered on projects because of market dynamism and rivalry. There might be a few elements that can influence project performance; however, this research concentrates on risk management (RM), Monitoring & evaluation (M&E), project manager decisional skills (DS) and its effect on project performance (PP). Researches prove the significance of risk management at any level or any type of organizations and monitoring & evaluation is a key project performance factors. The research is based on empirical studies and quantitative research based on the questionnaire. 239 IT sector employees was taken to examine the relationships between risk management to project performance, Monitoring & evaluation to project performance and project manager decisional skills to project performance. Bullying at workplaces is a growing problem associated with several antecedents and outcomes of psychological disorders. Extant literature shows the relationship of victimization with the owning-up curriculum to confront bullying, but so far there is little research to cure the issue of bullying through ethics and there is no study to check the impact of ethical lessons and exercises in training materials to curb bullying at workplace. The current paper is based on a literature review of aggression and bullying, and chiefly addresses the HR practices in rescuing the people from peer victimization. Conceptually segregating supervisor-subordinate (vertical) and peer-peer (horizontal) bullying psychology, this paper attempts to see what possible corrective steps can be taken by senior managers, supervisors and psychologists to resolve this critical problem through interior capacities. In this paper, we have developed three propositions for conducting a future empirical investigation in connection to a cohort study. By addressing the counterproductive/deviant behavior, the present report is likely to be beneficial for psychology scientists and HR practitioners in noticing and resolving the bullying issues at the workplace for the well-being of employees.

Certain difficulties are inherent in the implementation of the improvement of the quality of service , particularly in the Design Management Department. There is often a difference on the issue of translating vision between senior management and Design Department for service improvement into effective, operational QI programs. Middle managers have a key role to play, but often they are overlooked which leads to undermining their efforts to improve the quality programs offered by senior management. This paper describes the first phase of a PhD research project to determine and develop the role of middle management in successful implementation of quality management programs. A framework for quality improvement implementation, including key issues of importance to middle managers regarding their proactive involvement in QI, is suggested. Finally, the initial implementation of the model in a company is discussed. Keywords Quality Improvement (QI), Design Management Department (DMD), Middle Manager (MM)
