Eğitim örgütleri olan okullarda bireysel ilgi ve ihtiyaçların farklılaştığı noktalarda çatışma durumlarının oluşması doğaldır. Çatışma süreçlerinin örgütsel çıkarlar doğrultusunda yönetilmesi örgütün yaşamını sağlıklı bir şekilde devam ettirebilmesi için oldukça önemlidir. Bu düşünceden hareketle araştırma, okul yöneticilerinin okullarda meydana gelen çatışmalarda kullandıkları çatışma yönetim stilleri ile okulların örgütsel sağlığı arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla, Uşak ilinde görev yapan 349 ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise öğretmeni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenler genel olarak, okulların yüksek düzeyde sağlıklı örgütler olduğunu düşünmektedirler. Çatışma yönetim stilleri ile ilgili olarak öğretmenler genel olarak yüksek düzeyde okul yöneticilerinin çatışma durumlarında ödün verme ve uzlaşma stillerini kullandıklarını; tümleştirme ve kaçınma stillerini orta düzeyde; hükmetme stilini ise düşük düzeyde kullandıklarını düşünmektedirler. Ayrıca araştırmada okul yöneticilerinin okullarda meydana gelen çatışmalarda kullandıkları çatışma yönetim stilleri ile okulların örgütsel sağlığı arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığına yönelik ulaşılan sonuçlara göre, okul yöneticilerinin çatışmaları yönetmek için tümleştirme ve uzlaşma stillerini kullanması ile örgüt sağlığı arasında pozitif yönde yüksek derecede; ödün verme stilini kullanması ile örgüt sağlığı arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde; hükmetme stilini kullanması ile örgüt sağlığı arasında negatif yönde düşük derecede bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilirken çatışma yönetim stillerinden kaçınma stili ile ise örgüt sağlığı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı görülmüştür. Yine araştırma sonuçlarına göre çatışma yönetim stillerinde tümleştirme, ödün verme ve uzlaşma stillerinin örgüt sağlığını anlamlı bir şekilde yordadığı görülmüştür.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, okulların şeffaflık düzeylerini öğretmen algılarına dayalı olarak belirlemek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Bu amaçla öncelikle alanyazına dayalı olarak örgütsel şeffaflığı oluşturan alt boyutlar belirlenerek kuramsal çerçeve belirlenmiştir. Madde havuzu oluştururken kapsam geçerliğini güçlendirebilmek için belirlenen alt boyutları temsil ettiği düşünülen kod kümeleri oluşturularak, her kod için aday ölçek maddeleri yazılmıştır. Ortaya çıkan madde havuzu için alan uzmanları ve ölçme değerlendirme uzmanlarının yer aldığı 25 akademisyenden görüşleri alınarak maddeler üzerinde düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Böylece 24 maddelik aday ölçek formu oluşturulmuştur. Bu form pandemi süreci göz önünde bulundurularak çevrimiçi olarak öğretmenlere ulaştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, okulların DNA profilleri ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel vatandaşlık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın evrenini Uşak ilinde görev yapan 3986 öğretmen, örneklemini ise 457 ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada basit tesadüfî örnekleme yoluna gidilmiştir. Araştırmada veriler “Örgüt DNA’sı Ölçeği” ve “Örgütsel Vatandaşlık Davranışı Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Katsayısı ve Çoklu Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; öğretmenler okulların DNA profillerini, sağlıklı örgüt profillerinden esnek örgüt profili olarak algılamaktadırlar. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between schools' DNA profiles and school political behavior, according to teacher opinions. The research is in the relational screening model. The universe of the research is formed by the teachers working in Usak-Turkey. The sample of the research is composed of 361 primary, secondary and high school teachers working in Usak. Sampling was made easy to reach in the research. According to the results of the research, teachers generally view the organization DNA profile of schools as a flexible organization type. Schools carry the characteristics of healthy organizational types at moderate level and those of unhealthy organizational type at low level. Teachers, however, have never met the political behavior of the upper management within the school to try to get involved and to look for mutual benefit. ABSTRACT Many applications in wireless sensor networks can benefit from position information. However, existing accurate solutions for indoor environments are costly. Radio-Frequency (RF)-based approaches are not suitable for some indoor environments such as factory floors where heavy machinery can cause interference. We propose a low-cost and simple location management system using infrared (IR) leds and the Wii Remote Controller (WRC) which has an IR camera. The proposed solution is motivated by the need to find the location of a mobile robot used for data collection in a wireless sensor network. In the proposed schemes, the WRC is placed vertically on the mobile robot pointing upward and IR leds are placed irregularly on the ceiling. The mobile robot determines its position using the relative positions of the IR leds detected by the WRC. The WRC senses a few IR leds at a time, and they are differentiated using the irregularity among them. We analyze the problem theoretically and show that there exist limitations for covering large areas. We also discuss how to overcome these limitations. For small coverage areas, we provide optimal solutions using linear programming. The proposed scheme uses the resources efficiently and can cover a large area using a single WRC and multiple IR leds. We have simulation results including nonvertical placements of the WRC. The proposed scheme is easy to implement and requires minimal bandwidth for location management.

LEGO robots with Handy Board controllers have been widely used in upper-division Computer Science courses, such as Robotics and Embedded Systems. However, due to the limited commu- nication capability available on the Handy Board controller, only a single individual LEGO robot was exploited for each student group to complete a certain mission in most existing courses. In this paper, we describe our experience on enhancing the Handy Board controller with Tmote for radio-frequency (RF) communication capability. We discuss the hardware connections and sample codes for communication between Handy Board and Tmote via serial communication ports. With such enhancement, we can build LEGO robots that have wireless communication capability. Future courses that could benefit from such enhanced LEGO robots are also discussed.
