Tacit knowledge sharing is still at infancy especially in SME. Tacit knowledge exists in every corner of SME, in its structure and relationship especially in its people.Even though knowledge management will benefit SME as they are rich of tacit knowledge but lacking in expertise, financial capital and infrastructure, KM is almost impossible for SME currently. Since SME have efficient and informal communication network, knowledge sharing is essential especially in an organization with scarce resources. Therefore, in the wake of knowledge-based economy, tacit knowledge sharing is the best tool for SME in enhancing competence and organizational performance which suit its needs and background.

This paper explores the influence of socioeconomics on travel behavior among public transport commuters to increase modal share. A face-to-face survey was carried out, and 904 usable questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS. The findings showed that level of education strongly influences travel behavior while there is not much difference in gender, age, income, and occupation. However, the categories in the groups provide good information relating to travel behavior. Suggestions and recommendations are provided to help the public transport service provider setting more strategic plans to encourage more individual riders to switch to public transport and sustain existing users. Micro enterprises formed the majority of business establishments in Malaysia and play an important role in the business ecosystem. There are numerous studies of intellectual capital on large organizations and small and medium enterprises, however no study has been carried out on micro enterprises. The findings of the partial-least square analysis of one hundred and six micro enterprises found that intellectual capital has a significant relationship to organizational performance. In addition, the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance was significantly influenced by tacit knowledge sharing. In particular, tacit knowledge sharing proves to be extremely relevant when it comes to reinforcing the intellectual capital on the performance of micro enterprises in Malaysia. Limitations and implications for future studies are discussed.

Public transportation helps to reduce air pollution that creates negative impacts on work performance, work quality, and productivity. The study investigates the effects of moral norms, social norms, and pro-environmental attitudes on the travel behavior of public transport commuters. A survey was carried in Greater Kuala Lumpur, and a total of 904 usable questionnaires were analyzed using Partial Least Squares. The findings showed that a pro-environmental attitude had a weak relationship to travel behavior, but moral norms played a strong instrumental influence when commuters chose public transport. The online survey was conducted on 225 students who took a technology entrepreneurship course at a Malaysian university. Data were then analyzed using Partial Least Square software. The paper focuses on the questions: Why SMEs are lacking in sustainable competitive advantage? and How sustainable competitive advantage can be achieved through intellectual capital, knowledge management and innovation intelligence in SMEs? The purpose of the study is to construct a conceptual framework of Sustainable Competitive Advantage through knowledge management and innovation intelligence for SMEs.

Intellectual capital of the organization would determine the success of the organization itself if it is well capitalized. Knowledge sharing is a platform for the organization to further enhance productivity. Furthermore, knowledge sharing is always linked to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) due to their advantage of being small. Convenience sampling was used for manufacturing and services industries of SMEs. Data was tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to investigate the impact of intellectual capital on knowledge sharing. Measurement model and structural model were developed. Findings show that relational capital has a positive impact on knowledge sharing while human capital and structural capital has negative impact on knowledge sharing. All the intellectual capital dimensions contributed a significant impact on knowledge sharing. It is important for SMEs to invest and focus on knowledge sharing activity as it would create a platform for innovation, thus enhances the performance.

The challenges are to highlights the knowledge management factors in auditing firms and how much knowledge management contributes to their organizational effectiveness. This empirical study reveals that knowledge dissemination, knowledge storing and knowledge protection are more prominent in this type of industry. In addition, trust played a very crucial role in knowledge flow. Knowledge dissemination was found as a main contributor toward organizational effectiveness and trust prevails as important factor in knowledge management applications in the industry.

Entrepreneurs' ability to be successful is dependent on their resilience and ability to be innovative. The role of emotional intelligence in activating entrepreneurs' innovativeness is yet to be explored in the entrepreneurial research. This preliminary study investigates the emotional intelligence, innovativeness and entrepreneurial success of entrepreneurs in Malaysia. The pilot study was carried out on 51 young entrepreneurs. The results indicate positive emotional intelligence can increase innovativeness that may lead to entrepreneurial success. Only " regulation of emotion in others " seems to be the most important dimension whereas other emotional intelligence elements seem to be less relevant to innovativeness and entrepreneurial success. Furthermore, there is no difference between male and female entrepreneurs in emotional intelligence and innovativeness but entrepreneurial success. This preliminary finding highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence especially on other elements of emotional intelligence in promoting innovativeness among entrepreneurs.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of knowledge management capabilities on organizational performance in the public sector. Learning organization was included as a mediator to investigate its effect on the relationship between knowledge management capabilities and organizational performance. The conceptual framework provided a useful perspective to study knowledge management capabilities in a government setting in Dubai. Two hundred and fifty-five usable questionnaires were collected from the survey. The respondents were executives, managers and directors of the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. SPSS version 21 and AMOS version 20 (IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY, USA) were utilized to test the conceptual model. The findings show that knowledge management capabilities have a positive and significant relationship with organizational performance. Learning organization fully mediates the relationship between knowledge management capabilities and organizational performance. The study only focuses on the Roads and Transport Authority, which is one of the government agencies in Dubai. Recommendations are provided to offer practitioners alternative solutions to their weaknesses and set strategies to improve the effectiveness of their knowledge management capabilities to promote continuous learning in the organization. This is the first study of knowledge management and learning organization carried out in Dubai or the United Arab Emirates in the public sector.

This study is to explore the relationship of knowledge management, innovative intelligence and sustainable competitive advantage by using partial least square. Knowledge management practices are known for its impact on organizational performance however, it is yet to be explored on sustainable competitive advantage especially on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). This study is also attempts to explore the role of innovative intelligence in mediating the relationship. Hundred twenty questionnaires have been collected from knowledge-based SMEs. Partial least square analysis is used in the analyses to determine the relationships. Knowledge management was found to have indirect relationship with sustainable competitive advantage where innovative intelligence served as a mediator of the relationship of knowledge management and sustainable competitive advantage. The findings showed that SMEs have not exploited their organizational knowledge to develop sustainable competitive advantage through innovation. Innovative intelligence is identified as an important catalyst for SMEs to sustain its competitive advantage.

Sustainable competitive advantage is important when companies keep searching new ways to offer value better than their competitors, especially when the competitive environment changes. Knowing which elements of competitive advantage to deploy would help companies set effective competitive strategies from the very beginning. Intellectual capital as intangible resources is important for a sustainable competitive advantage. The main concerns of this paper are to identify the elements of sustainable competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises and how intellectual capital influences sustainable competitive advantage. Focus group approach was used to explore the perception of sustainable competitive advantage and intellectual capital of SMEs. Content analysis was analysed using a mechanical method. The findings show that cost leadership and differentiation strategies are commonly used by SMEs to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. In addition, innovation is considered vital to create value for customers. The majority of the participants agreed that human capital is the most important element of intellectual capital regardless of industry. Innovation capital is regarded more important than relational capital and structural capital.
