The study examined critical thinking among school administrators for quality control in
secondary schools. The study was a descriptive survey. The population of the study comprised 91 principals and 1,202 public secondary school teachers in zone B Senatorial District of Benue State. Out of the population, a sample of 27 principals and 297 teachers were selected through a stratified random sampling technique. Data collected were analyzed using mean, standard deviation while a t-test at 0.05 level of significance was adopted in testing the hypotheses. The result of the study indicates planning skills of school
administrators have significance in the maintenance of school facilities for quality control in secondary schools. The finding of the study also reveals that the financial skills of school administrators have significance on the conversion of abandoned school facilities for quality
control in secondary schools. It was recommended that secondary school administration should take inventory of all the facilities in the school system. This will enable the school management to identify facilities that require maintenance. Facilities identified as dilapidating or abandoned should be an auction to the public or maintained and rented out for
income generation. The school administration could generate enough income through the process of renting out school facilities.

The birth of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has brought a paradigm shift in every aspect of life including the educational system and has the capability to enhance the role of school leaders in Nigeria. The place of school leadership is complex with continuous evolution and it is expected to be technologically oriented in order to meet the contemporary educational needs and demands of the digital citizens who may be fed up with the repetition learning method. As technology advances and radically changes the world we are today, it is necessary that school leadership advances with it in order to achieve a realistic and effective educational sector in Nigeria. However, the pertinent question remains, are school leaders in Nigeria embracing the benefits of ICT to achieve effective leadership? This study explores the role of Information and Communication technology-based school leadership in enhancing effective teaching and learning that is sustainable. It is situated within the framework of the technology acceptance model and adopts library research methodology and therefore, makes use of secondary data by using contributions of communication scholars and education experts to identify and discuss how school leaders can integrate ICT in their roles to achieve effective teaching and learning in Nigeria.

Job commitment of teachers has been a serious issue of concern among stakeholders because of the continuous complaint about the performance and commitment of teachers in recent times. This study therefore examined the relationship between principals supervisory techniques, management strategies and teachers job commitment in public secondary schools in Lagos State. The study was guided by four research hypotheses. The study used the descriptive survey research design and the population was 14,483 teachers in 322 Senior Secondary Schools in Lagos State while sample of the study which was determined using the Taro Yemane’s formular was 400 participants after which a multistage sampling approach was used for selection of the participants. A self-designed questionnaire which was designed on a modified 4-point Likert-type scale such as Strongly Agreed (SA); Agreed (A); Disagreed (D); and Strongly Disagreed (SD) was used for data collection. The face and content validity of the instrument was assured while the reliability was ensured by administering the instrument on 30 teachers who did not participate in the main study once. The result was analysed using Cronbach Alpha and a co-efficient of .77 proved the instrument was reliable for the study. The researchers engaged Four research assistants in data collection after adequate training on the instrument. Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) statistics was used to test the hypotheses of the study at .05 level of significance using the IBM-Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Version 23. The result of the analysis showed that all the explanatory variables significantly relate to job commitment of teachers. Based on the findings, it was therefore recommended that principals should use classroom observation efficiently to improve job commitment of teachers and adequately resolve conflicts in the school system to enhance job commitment of teachers

Leadership is essential to attaining educational objectives. Leaders can set objectives that motivate followers to rise beyond trivial concerns, transcend societal divisions, and work together to achieve goals deserving of their best efforts. The study aimed to determine the supervisory issues and leadership behavior of the school principals in the diocesan private schools. It utilized concurrent mixed-methods research where the quantitative part describes the leadership behavior of school principals. The qualitative phase of the study analyzed the supervisory issues of school principals, which could further help enhance their role as school leaders. The respondents of the study are 75 private school teachers. The results of the study indicate that (1) the majority of the school leaders show transformational behavior toward their teachers; (2) supervisory issues were the decision-making and classroom visitation; (3) teachers' dream leaders are transformational, visionary, and compassionate.

“Dr. Zhixian (George) Yi is a lecturer and former leadership specialization coordinator and PhD supervisor in the School of Information and Communication Studies at Charles Sturt University, Australia. He teaches courses in management and marketing, and is a researcher of change management, leadership, management and marketing. He holds a PhD in information science and a PhD minor in educational leadership from Texas Women’s University and a master’s degree in information science from Southern Connecticut State University in the USA, and was awarded the 2009 Eugene Garfield Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship from Beta Phi Mu, the International Library and Information Studies Honor Society. This research aims to analyze non-formal education as a complex and dynamic system in the context of education in Indonesia. This article discusses the non-formal education system as an integral part of the national education system. Non-formal education has a role in developing skills, knowledge, and attitudes through flexible programs relevant to the needs of participants. This article also analyzes planning of programs, implementation, influencing factors, collaboration with formal and informal education, as well as the role in developing character and skills. The method used in this article is a literature study. The research findings indicate that non-formal education has an important role in complementing the formal and informal education systems, with high flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse target groups. The implications of this finding emphasize the importance of developing integrated policies and strategies to maximize the potential of non-formal education in the context of learning.

The Delphi expert approach was employed in identifying the impediments faced by Agricultural science teachers in teaching the Agricultural trade-based curriculum amid the Covid-19 era and the expository approach was used to determine the Sustainable Resilient Measures (SRMs) that could be taken to overcome future occurrences in Delta State, Nigeria. The study population is made up of 1143 Agricultural science teachers in 464 public secondary schools in Delta State, out of which only 35 head teachers formed the expert panel. At the end of the first stage, a total of 31 items were identified by the Agricultural science teachers as the impediments faced during the COVID-19 era in Delta State, Nigeria. In the second stage, only 23 items reached the benchmark of 2.5, which were later utilized for the third stage. At the end of the third stage, at the 60% benchmark only 16 items reached consensus. The items were inadequate infrastructural technology, inadequately skilled teachers in the use of outside school learning platforms,inadequate training of teachers among others. Therefore, it was concluded that SRMs such as immediate and sustainable responses in line with the current situation in the society, and smart agricultural technology in passing learning instructions among others could be adopted against future impediments of a pandemic. Based on these findings, it was recommended among others that the Agricultural science teachers should be professionally trained and the trade-based curriculum be reviewed to respond to future occurrences that may result in lockdowns.

This research attempted to describe qualitatively the productivity certified teachers educator in learning plan, lesson, evaluation of learning, duties and responsibilities of teachers, support working environment, and teacher commitment. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The result of this research described that the teachers has been; (1) preparing the planing of learning, (2) using varied teaching methods and classroom management, (3) conduct daily, midterm and final exams, (4) know the duties and responsibilities, (5) received support fromschool in performing the tasks, and (6) performance and evaluation accordance with the planning.

The study assessed the impact of principals’ Administrative roles on professional development of private
secondary school teachers in South Eastern Nigeria. Seven objectives which were translated to seven research
questions and seven hypotheses guided the study. Literatures relevant to the topic were reviewed. The study adopted
a survey research design. The population of the study was 85,861 teachers in private secondary schools in South
Eastern Nigeria. A sample size of 382 teachers was selected for the study, using Multistage sampling Procedure which
involved purposive, random sampling and proportionate stratified sampling techniques. A self-structured
Questionnaire titled “Principals’ Administrative Roles on Professional Development of private secondary school
teachers’ Questionnaire (PMRTPDQ)’’ was used for data collection. The instrument has seven clusters based on the
variables of the study. The data were subjected to statistical analysis where the research questions were answered
using descriptive statistics of Mean and Standard Deviation while the hypotheses were tested using chi-square at 0.05
level of significance. The result revealed that conference role, workshop role, inducƟon role and lesson delivery role
posiƟvely impact teachers’ professional development in private secondary schools in South Eastern Nigeria. Based on
the findings of this study, it was recommended that if appropriate teachers’ development programmes are put in place,
the performance of teachers in private secondary school in south eastern Nigeria in the study area would be more
efficient and effective. This would lead to enhanced performance and productivity as it would boost the educational
outcomes in the study area. It was recommended that Administration of each secondary school should take adequate
measures to ensure staff are given proper orientation services, so as to improve their performance at all times. Such
measures should include planning and funding adequately at each occasion the need arises. And workshop could also
be organized for staff, so as to make them function more effectively on the job.

RESUMEN: La digitalización del sector financiero ha afectado negativamente a diversos colectivos de personas que no saben o que no pueden acceder a los servicios financieros digitales. Esta realidad exige adoptar medidas que aseguren la adecuada inclusión financiera de cualquier ciudadano, existiendo para ello justificaciones éticas, pero también jurídicas o económicas. Las soluciones pueden ser bien diversas, alcanzando tanto las promovidas voluntariamente por el propio sector financiero, como otras habilitadas por los poderes públicos. Entre estas últimas, se ha valorado la adaptación de los servicios al principio de prestación personalizada, que exigiría acomodar el servicio a las necesidades específicas de los distintos segmentos de usuarios. No obstante, si persistiesen los problemas de exclusión financiera, también podría imponerse una medida excepcional y más incisiva. Así, cabría exigir la prestación presencial de ciertos servicios financieros esenciales que sean calificados como servicios de interés económico general.

ABSTRACT: The digitalization of the financial sector has negatively affected various groups of people who are unable to access digital financial services. This reality requires the adoption of measures to ensure the adequate financial inclusion of any citizen, for which there are ethical, legal and economic justifications. The solutions can be very diverse, ranging from those promoted voluntarily by the financial sector itself to others enabled by the public authorities. Among the latter, the adaptation of services to the principle of personalised service, which requires tailoring the service to the specific needs of different user segments, has been advocated. However, if problems of financial exclusion persist, an exceptional and more incisive measure could also be imposed. Thus, the face-to-face provision of certain essential financial services that qualify as services of general economic interest could be required.

This study investigated the impact of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) intervention on research intervention for effective management of Federal Universities in South East, Nigeria. One research question guided the study while one hypothesis was tested at a 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. The Education sector in Nigeria has witnessed several natural and man-made challenging crises that are contributing to the inability to meet the global goal of sustainable education at all levels. The frequency of these circles of crises over some time has resulted in what is referred to as an 'academic pandemic'. This paper examined the factors responsible for a state of emergency in the Nigerian education sector and the roles of leadership in the management of these challenges. Relevant secondary data sourced from both print and online resources were arranged into themes and analyzed for contents holistically and historically in line with the interpretive research paradigm. The study suggests that the crisis-laden education sector needs a general overhaul that targets its establishment, operations and outcomes. A sustainable leadership approach is required for structural, cultural, safety, legislative and humanitarian factors that limit accessibility to quality education.

Within the scope of this general purpose, answers were sought for the questions below: What is the distribution of the studies published in journals of faculties of educational sciences in terms of; the subject of the study, the population and the study group, data collection tools and data analysis techniques. The criteria determined for this study are that the articles should be published in the journals of the faculties of educational studies accepted to the ULAKBIM database between 2010 and 2016 and should be open-access and related to primary-school teaching. Purpose: In this study, we investigated the effects of organizational justice and trust directed at the organization as a whole on OCB. Also investigated were the influence between organizational justice and OCB, and the influence between trust and OCB. Design/Methodology/Approach: From a sample of 273 teachers from 305 Private Junior High Schools in Tangerang District, we tested the hypothesized model using structural equation models. Findings: The main findings are as follows: Findings show that organizational justice and trust have a positive effect on teacher’s OCB and OCB is also positively related to trust. Originality/value: The results of the study show that teachers could be engaged in organizational citizenship behavior when they perceive fairness of the equality, needs, rights of opinion, transparency, neutrality and acknowledging the same position of the organizational process.

The purpose of this research is  to  determine the influence of managerial ability and creativity on headmaster’s decision making in Junior High School of Counties and Tangerang City.             The research used survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. Technique of data collecting is using instrument in the form of questionnaire. The number of 60 headmaster’s as sample by simple was selected random sampling. The result of this research indicated that : 1) there is a direct positive effect of managerial ability to headmaster’s decision making, 2) there is a direct positive effect of creativity to headmaster’s decision making and 3) there is a direct positive effect of managerial ability to creativity.
