This book arrives with a reputation. Apparently, it is the first book on psi and other anomalous human experiences to be published by the rather traditionalist APA (American Psychological Association). If this is true, this is likely due to the fact that much of the book relies on carefully monitored and repeated experiments to demonstrate the statistical veracity of such things as precognition, remote viewing, clairvoyance, mental telepathy, and even psychokinesis. This is the key to the authors' claim of empirical testing and scientific proof. This is not a long book, consisting of only eight self-contained chapters that work in concert to lead toward the implication of a kind of idealist ultimate reality. Despite its size, it seems they manage to cover all aspects of psi, including post-mortem communication with 'discarnate entities', and they cite nearly all the well-known authors in this field over the past decades and earlier.

The Classification and Statistical Manual of Extrasensory Experiences (CSM-EE) is a classification of extrasensory experiences (i.e. telepathy, clairvoyance, mediumship, precognition, synchronistic events, etc.) with associated criteria designed to facilitate more reliable classification. CSM-EE assists in identifying like experiences that are similar in phenomenology, but otherwise widely differ in narrative due to culture, language, and religious/spiritual belief. Whereby, the CSM-EE can assist in accurate classification and is therefore a valuable resource for clinicians and students, and a valuable reference for researchers, dealing with extrasensory experiences in a wide diversity of context. The criteria and associated phenomenological features and specifiers serve in part as a textbook for students who require a well-structured method to understand and classify extrasensory experiences as well as for experienced professionals encountering these experiences for the first time.

Clinical Parapsychology: Extrasensory Exceptional Experiences is a graduate-level textbook designed to facilitate more reliable diagnosis, classification, treatment, and research. It is designed for clinicians, educators, and researchers challenged with investigating into the nature of distressing extrasensory (psychic) exceptional experiences. This textbook assists in interpreting extrasensory experiences reported in a wide diversity of context that are often viewed as religious, spiritual, anomalous, or transpersonal, and that vary greatly in subjective experience. This textbook is a valuable resource for both students and experienced professionals and is designed to be utilized by both individuals and educational institutions. Between March, 2015 and October 2017, an exploratory online survey was conducted to study remote viewers perceptions about whether or not remote viewing related instruction had helped them, and if so, to what extent. Participants were recruited from various remote viewing related Facebook groups and online industry forums; and from email lists associated with the international Remote Viewing Association (IRVA), the Applied Precognition Project (APP) and the International School of Clairvoyance. Approximately 85 percent of all respondents indicated training had helped to some extent, with apx. 5 percent indicating it had not helped at all. Of the 85 percent who indicated it had helped, a majority of remote viewers indicated it had strongly helped.

This piece is particularly focused on Karlheinz Stockhausen's compositions "Ceylon" and "Bird of Passage" which were presented together on one album by Chrysalis Records in 1975, when I was fifteen.  I did not buy the album until I was 18, as far as I remember, and certainly did not understand its subtle synthetic speech patterns and 'cryptography' (of a form I would call 'steganographic' -- meaning 'hidden in plain view').  Ordinarily, one does not expect to receive 'psychic' messages from a record album composed by someone who the percipient does not recall ever having met. 

Stockhausen, however, claimed to be an extraterrestrial, as well as a psychic, and there certainly does appear to be evidence of Information from the future in this music, which could not possibly have been known by a 'normal' human.  In specific, Stockhausen mentions three of my future girlfriends, long prior to my having met them, and also mentions Reagan (i.e. Ronald Reagan) as a future President.

It is clear to me that the music is about Information derived from Time-travel or Superluminal Travel (perhaps to be expected from extraterrestrials, as Stockhausen claimed to be).  The problem/issue of time-travel is that it also potentially engenders a duplicate self (i.e., "doppelganger") via time-travel to the past.

Was I really involved in CIA time-travel experiments as a child?  I do not know, although I suspect so, and I appear to have such memories, and there do appear to be witnesses, such as Andrew Basiago, who claim similar events in their lives.  Perhaps one day, by investigating this phenomenon thoroughly, and not casting inappropriate skepticism towards well-documented and carefully thought-out analyses, we will learn the truth.

In the History of 'Doppelganger' literature (a term invented by Jean-Paul Richter in his novel "Siebenkas"), examples like "Dorian Grey" and his portrait, "Jekyll and Hyde",  Faust and Mephistopheles, etc. have already been made well-known.  In other words, the Doppelganger need not necessarily be 'indiscernibly identical' in the terms of Leibnitz.

However, referencing David Wiggins' text "Identity and Spatio-Temporal Continuity", a lecture on which by the author I attended at Princeton University, sitting next to Saul Kripke himself, I would suggest that Doppelgangers are actually spatio-temporally discontinuous (at least in some cases) with the 'Selves' that they emulate.  In my particular case, I would say that this rather paranormal phenomenon is definitely both (1) real, at least auditorily, and (2) an example of a discontinuous identity with the same name and some similar qualities [i.e., probably from a parallel universe].

Examining the possiblity of violation of Relativity and Einstein causation thru superluminally transmitted signals and messages embedded in art (primarily antique music).  The parallels to 'acoustic black holes' and the Hawking Black hole "Information-loss" Paradox are obvious.  A theory of possible origin for the superluminally transmitted signals (via "Virtual" or superluminal phonons) is involved, as an attempt to demonstrate that such phenomena have already been conclusively shown to exist.

This article is about constellations in which communities accept extraordinary personalities and the traditional clairvoyant/witchcraft narratives. The person under discussion is the witch of Äksi, Hermiine Elisabeth Jürgens (1892-1976), one of the best known Estonian 20th-century clairvoyants. In Estonian, the word nõid ('witch') is still used by the general public (a witch is a person with extraordinary powers, a healer, a wise(wo)man). During the Soviet period and later the term nõid (witch) was interpreted as an important keeper and interpreter of national knowledge. The article focuses at the life of the witch of Äksi, and the corpus of narratives that talk about her, focusing on the most common subtopics of narratives and motifs that lead to the folklorisation or narrativisation of her life. The narratives are divided into oral biographies, patient or client narratives (among which stories of divination stand out), and a smaller corpus, which contains the occurrences of narrativisation the person. The witch of Äksi was a city-born urbanite, she adapted to country life and unfamiliar socio-political circumstances. Narratives reflect the traditional duties of witch /clairvoyant person: the looking for missing family members; searching for criminals or suddenly missing people in co-operation with authorities; looking for stolen goods and animals; helping with matters of love and family relations; divining one's future and fate; healing, and single political prophesies.

More than 60 remote viewers contributed 177 intuitive-based associative remote viewing (ARV) predictions over a 14-month period. These viewers comprised pre-established, self-organized groups cooperating under the rubric of “Project Firefly” (PFF), and were supervised by experienced ARV group managers operating under the umbrella of the Applied Precognition Project (APP), a for-profit organization exploring precognition and leveraging ARV methodology as an investment enhancement tool. Based on predictions from the ARV sessions, PFF used the Kelly wagering strategy to guide trading on the Foreign Exchange (FOREX) currency market. Viewers performed under typical scientific protocols, including double-blind conditions, appropriate randomization, etc., using a variety of ARV application methodologies. Investors, many of whom were also participants (viewers and judges), pooled investment funds totaling $56,300 with the stated goal of “creating wealth aggressively.” Rather than meeting that goal, however, most of the funds were lost over the course of the project. Beyond merely reporting on an extensive remote viewing experiment, the present study is an examination of what went wrong, providing lessons learned for further ARV research whether involving for-profit activities or basic research, as the principles are relevant to both. Associative remote viewing is a research paradigm that harkens back to early days in science where competent non-academic researchers can provide datapoints and breakthroughs in a field typically peopled solely by professional researchers. Adapting a form of ethnographic study, we refer not only to the statistical results produced by the PFF effort, but also employ a mixed-methods qualitative approach to exploit the information and insights contributed by numerous participants about what happened, what worked, and what didn’t. This creates a reference we believe will be useful for those conducting future applied precognition projects involving multiple participants or groups. The Center for Exceptional Human Experiences (CEHE) is offering a number of “emerging measures” for further research and clinical evaluation in regard to “exceptional experiences.”

The PPA-B is an 80-item assessment that considers how one mentally, emotionally, and physically interacts with their environment and other individuals; whereby revealing how one psychically interacts with their environment and other individuals. This assessment identifies the most probable extrasensory phenomena the individual has recently experienced, and where their potential lies in regard to possible enhancement.

The TEDI, CEDI, & EEDI are 16-, 44-, and 20-item measures designed to be utilized during psychological or psychiatric intake to assist in determining the best course of patient treatment. These measures are not designed to track changes in psychotic symptoms over time, but may be useful for this purpose. They should be used in research and evaluation as a potentially useful tool in differentiating veridical extrasensory phenomenology from psychotic symptomology, but should not be intended as the sole basis for diagnosis.

In writing this book I wanted to combine adventure with teaching. What is it like to be a clairvoyant child who sees what the rest of us can't? The article presents the relationship between the motives of blindness and extrasensory perception in the works of Ukrainian Romantic poets. The author of the article shows the ancient lineage of the great blind men – soothsayers and poets-visionaries – and examines the multifaceted symbolism of blindness based on literary images of blind kobzars, lirnyks and bandurists. The author focuses on the evolution of the symbolism of blindness in the works of Taras Shevchenko.
