The domination of the western world at the global news scene which is about the imbalance in the flow of news internationally has continued to generate interest because of the rapid growth of several countries. This is because the issues that gave birth to the debate in the first instance have remained fluid, notwithstanding the impact of social media on the
unidirectional flow of news and information due to the liberalization and proliferation of the news-gathering and dissemination processes at the grassroots level. This study analyses the content of U.S. media coverage to determine the impact of social media on the content and flow of news in the United States. In other words, this study hopes to find if traditional media organizations in the U.S. are still setting public agenda in the era of social media networks popularity.

Se pencher sur la médiatisation des nouvelles technologies et sur ce qu’elles communiquent du monde, c’est s’interroger sur le sens des images pour leur spectateur, s’interroger sur ce qui lui est propre dans l’acte de voir et d’appréhender son monde, et déployer ce qu’il partage, ce qu’il échange, quand il communique avec autrui.

Głównym celem artykułu jest zbadanie źródeł zjawiska skandalu w sztuce współczesnej oraz zaprezentowanie w tym kontekście artystycznych działań Abnormals Gallery. Wychodząc od założeń psychoanalizy lacanowskiej przyglądam się dwóm strategiom posługiwania się perwersją w sztuce, mającym na celu wyrażenie sprzeciwu wobec Prawa Ojca. Męska twórczość (père-version) polega na tworzeniu alternatywnej wizji świata, będącej infantylną karykaturą ojcowskiego porządku. Natomiast kobieca działalność artystyczna (père-aversion) ujawnia się w radykalnym, gwałtownym zerwaniu z opresyjnym porządkiem patriarchalnym za pomocą cielesności. Następnie przedstawiam zjawisko Abnormals Gallery, której funkcjonowanie w specyficzny sposób żywi się skandalem. Opisuję zatem cielesne performance’y Lukasa Zpiry, spreparowane zwłoki zwierząt Iris Schieferstein, kontrowersyjne, zanurzone w popkulturze prace Maxa Papeschiego oraz fotografie Michela Valentino.

Traditional visual communication and graphic design curricula at the university level perhaps may not adequately educate, train and/or prepare students to successfully work in the intended creative professions. This critical study found three suspected reasons for this problem: first, that higher education art studio and mass communication curricula are stalled in a historical pedagogy that no longer is viable. Second, that employee compensation for traditional graphic design graduates is typically lower than integrated, interdisciplinary, multimedia graduates and third, that current institutional structures are based on past practice constructed by higher education’s territorial resistance to change.

ÖZET Resim sanatının gelişimi ve tarihi iki açıdan takip edilebilir: Birincisi sanat akımlarının gelişimini takip ederek. İkincisi de süreç içerisinde resim sanatının değişimine ve gelişimine katkıda bulunan öncü ressamların derinlemesine incelenmesiyle. George Baselitz ikincisi içinde değerlendirilebilecek herhangi bir akıma bağlı olarak değil de bağımsız biçimde incelenmesi gereken ressamlardandır. George Beselitz, resim sanatının gelişimine ve değişimine bir akıma bağlı olmanın ötesinde bireysel olarak katkıda bulunan öncü ressamlardan biridir. Alman ve Batı sanatının üretken ve kural yıkıcı ressamı George Baselitz yaşamı, çok yönlülüğü, poetikası, manifestoları ve beslendiği kaynaklarla sanata yön veren sanatçılardan biridir. Alman ulusal sanatına ve neo ekspresyonizm'e yaptığı katkılar da onun sanatının bir parçasıdır. " Hiçbir ressam çalışırken motif aramaz. Bu, paradoks olurdu. Çünkü motif ressamın beynindedir, düşünen o mekanizmanın içinde. " sözleriyle resim sanatının düşünme biçimleriyle olan ilgisine dikkat çeker. Böylece resim sanatının yalnızca tuvale yansıyan kısmı değil arka planında yoğun bir zihinsel hazırlık süreci olduğuna da dikkat çeker. Resmin zihinsel arka planı hakkında düşündüğünü yazdığı manifestolar, poetikalardan da takip edebilmek mümkündür. Batı sanatının dolayısıyla Türk sanatının gelişimini anlayabilmek için Modernizm'in önemli duraklarından biri olan Baselitz ve onun gibi sanatçıları anlamak gerekir. Bu makale Baselitz'in yaşamı ve sanatı hakkında bilimsel ve nesnel bir tutumla bilgiler vererek sanatın ve sanatçının dünyasını oluşturan ögeleri göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır.

RESUMEN:
Para nadie en el ambiente cinematográfico fue sorpresa cuando Raúl Ruiz, radicado en París, a fines de la década del ochenta acababa de ser galardonado con un «premio» especial, recibido por pocos cineastas en la historia del cine mundial: Cahiers du Cinéma, la mítica revista de cine francesa, representativa del nivel más avanzado entre la crítica europea, venía a dedicar un número entero a Ruiz. Homenaje sin duda, al cineasta «francés» más importante del momento, el único que está planteando líneas renovadoras en un arte reducido a un grupo de grandes clásicos (Rohmer, Bresson, Godard), pero que ha sido escaso en nuevos autores.
Como homenaje a Raúl Ruiz se incluye aquí la traducción del prefacio del número especial de la revista Cahiers, escrito por el redactor en jefe, Serge Toubiana, y titulado “El caso Ruiz”; el texto es el siguiente:
«Un número entero consagrado a un cineasta, eso no se veía desde hacía tiempo en los 'Cahiers'. Recordamos sí el especial Eisenstein en 1971, el número 300 de Godard y los 'fuera de serie': Welles, Pasolini, o Hitchcock. Ahora es el turno de Raúl Ruiz, el cineasta más prolífico de nuestro tiempo, aquel cuya filmografía es casi imposible establecer, por lo diversa y multiforme que resulta ser su producción desde hace más de veinte años. Raúl Ruiz, un cineasta que navega entre Lisboa, Rótterdam y París, lejos de su lugar de partida, Santiago de Chile, donde no se siente a gusto para vivir.
- Es un cineasta cuya manera de producir es de una elasticidad sin igual desde un pedido para televisión a pequeñas producciones regionales o locales (en el extranjero o en Francia), siempre manteniendo una actividad casi regular en el INA (Instituto Nacional Audiovisual), donde él hace funcionar un mini-laboratorio de ‘nuevas imágenes’, como lo hacía Mélies, por ejemplo; a esto debe agregarse su actividad académica, como Profesor visitante de Cine en la Universidad de Harvard y como conferencista en las más importantes universidades de Europa y los Estados Unidos.
- Todo el cine de Ruiz es un cine ‘torcido’, porque es visto a través de curiosos prismas, siempre desnaturalizando la perspectiva clásica: un cine de ’tuerto’ (que es el título de una de sus películas). Así como cada plano ruiziano lleva una marca, una cifra, o un secreto (un poco como Welles, y los más grandes), una torsión, él propone ejes de toma de vista imposibles, utiliza todos los trucos; la banda sonora a su vez es polifónica, multilingüe, resuena con tantos acentos diferentes como co-producciones o personajes hay en la ficción».

The fight of Aeneas and his family from Troy does not seem to have attracted
the attention of African mosaicists nor that of their colleges from the entire
Roman Empire. Today we only recognize a single artwork, more specifcally, an
emblema from Karthago. Except a brief description made by the inventor, J. W.
Salomonson in 1965, the scene seems to have escaped the attention of researchers
and archeologists.

The objectives of this research are:
1. To study the demand for academic internet-based radio among people in Bangkok.
2. To study the relationship between demographic factors and the demand for academic internet-based radio among people in Bangkok.
The research was conducted among 400 samples (male and female) in Bangkok using questionnaires as a tool for acquiring information. The research used descriptive statistics (Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation) and inferential statistics (Independence t-test, One - way ANOVA–when the differences are found, paired comparison is used by Least Significant Difference) in order to analyze at significance level of 0.05.
The results revealed as follows:
1. The majority of sample is female ages between 18-28 years old. Their highest education is bachelor degree. Most of them are company employee and their monthly income is 15,001 – 25,000 baht in average. The study results indicate the high demand for academic internet-based radio (program, broadcast content, program genres, performers, production techniques, and benefits gained from programs). Regarding the listening behavior, the score is in moderate level. The study results also suggest that universities should implement internet-based radio in teaching in order to develop further the student’s skills and knowledge.
2. Regarding the demographic differences of people in Bangkok and the demand for academic Internet-based radio ,the study reveals that people in differences of age, education levels, careers, and monthly income have different demand for academic Internet-based radio at a significance level of 0.05. However gender has not been shown to relate to differences in academic Internet-based radio demand.

Para las ciudades y sus habitantes, los equipamientos para la cultura y las artes ofrecen actividades y servicios culturales de valor. Su presencia contribuye a la satisfacción de los derechos culturales del ciudadano. La participación de los ciudadanos en cultura implica también el reconocimiento de su derecho a recibir una información oportuna y veraz, así como del deber del Estado de garantizar una educación para la creatividad y la apreciación de la cultura. Ciudadanos dotados de un espíritu crítico y reflexivo, con formación y conocimiento de las expresiones artísticas, con acceso permanente a ofertas culturales de interés, constituirán sujetos activos del desarrollo cultural.
No obstante su relevancia, los centros culturales parecen descuidar uno de los aspectos cruciales vinculado con su quehacer: la necesidad de contar con eficientes mecanismos de comunicación con sus audiencias que aseguren a los ciudadanos poder contar con un flujo eficiente de mensajes que les permitan adoptar las mejores decisiones en su diario vivir. ¿Será acaso la hora de considerar que la gestión de organizaciones de servicios culturales deba asumir con propiedad la condición de una auténtica mediación cultural? Una mediación donde las capacidades comunicativas de los centros culturales y casas de cultura sea un aspecto determinante de sus posibilidades de alcanzar sus objetivos. En las secciones siguientes nos proponemos explorar esa posibilidad.

Why is today's culture so deeply attached to the past and focused on its own remnants, which have suprisingly quickly come to represent its creators' main field of interest? Marzec explores this question by drawing on Jacques Derrida's quasi-concept of 'the spectre' in order to interpret the artistic 'found footage' work of Bill Morrison and other artists fascinated by the unusually creative and productive force of disintegration. This interesting film genre, forever gazing into the abyss of archival resources, not only brings to light the traces of a reality that has long ceased to exist - it also inspires a deep sense of nostalgia in its viewers and points to the faint presence of the past in the present, but above all, it fetishizes remnants.

Dlaczego współczesna kultura jest tak bardzo przywiązana do swojej
przeszłości oraz skoncentrowana na własnych resztkach, które w
zadziwiająco krótkim czasie stały się głównym obszarem zainteresowania
jej twórców? Autor pragnie odnaleźć odpowiedź na to pytanie,
wykorzystując quasi-pojęcie „widma” Jacquesa Derridy do interpretacji
artystycznej twórczości „found footage” – prac Billa Morrisona oraz
innych artystów zafascynowanych niezwykle twórczą i produktywną siłą
rozkładu. Ten ciekawy gatunek filmowy, nieustannie zapatrzony w
przepastne zasoby archiwum, nie tylko wyciąga na światło dzienne ślady
nieistniejącej już dawno rzeczywistości, budzi w swoich widzach
głębokie poczucie nostalgii oraz wskazuje na słabą obecność
przeszłości w teraźniejszości, ale przede wszystkim fetyszyzuje
resztki

Depuis l’invention des nouvelles technologies, nous assistons à de nouveaux phénomènes dans le monde des arts, comme la démocratisation du statut d’artiste, la professionnalisation des activités artistiques et la valorisation de l’art dans la vie des individus; cela explique pourquoi des millions d’internautes publient sur les réseaux sociaux un ensemble de contenus créatifs tels que des photographies sur Instagram, des home stagings sur Pinterest, des créations artisanales sur Etsy ou des publications poétiques sur Facebook.

Nous constatons que ces internautes utilisent ces plateformes pour produire et promouvoir librement leurs propres créations artistiques, mais qu’ils et elles sont rapidement contraint(e)s de répondre à une logique capitaliste, d’adopter une vision productiviste de l’art et de privilégier la performance de soi chaque fois qu’ils et elles publient sur ces plateformes numériques. Ces variations de comportements entre leur vie physique et celle en ligne soulèvent une question fondamentale: quels sont les impacts du numérique sur la transformation des subjectivités et de leurs formes de vies créatives? Par cette question, nous cherchons à mieux cerner les transformations majeures que ces nouvelles technologies opèrent sur le plan de la subjectivité des artistes au regard de la relation qu’ils et elles entretiennent avec leurs formes de vies créatives en ligne.

Pour mener à bien notre exploration, nous allons produire plusieurs fragments sur différentes thématiques, dans le but de mieux saisir, illustrer et expliquer le rôle que joue le numérique dans les transformations actuelles des subjectivités et des formes de vies créatives qui leur sont associées. L’objectif de cette étude par fragments est de produire un «mycélium de sens» (Citton, 2012) autour de ce phénomène jusqu’alors inexploré: le fait que des gestes artistiques empreints d’humanité se transforment, au contact de ces technologies, en mécanismes essentiellement techniques.
