Ce titre m'est inspiré par un film des frères Larrieu, Les derniers jours du monde, dans lequel le héros principal est un homme qui vit la fin de notre monde sur un mode singulier : pour lui, tous les enjeux de victoire sur les éléments déchaînés, de maîtrise dans la débâcle, de force contre l'adversaire, de guerre contre l'ennemi, tous ces paramètres qui entrent habituellement dans la définition de la masculinité et de la norme mâle à laquelle il importe de se conformer dans une société patriarcale, tous ces critères s'effondrent en même temps que le monde qu'ils ont soutenu ; Robinson Laborde incarne à merveille cet homme des derniers jours du monde où régnait la norme mâle, en ce sens il est tout à fait anormal et cette anormalité pourrait être la définition de ce que serait « l'homme d'après ». Robinson ne se bat pas pour préserver le monde existant, mais il court après une femme qui le fascine ; il traverse des paysages dévastés et des ambiances apocalyptiques, mais tout cela n'a pas d'importance. Ce qui en a, c'est cette femme, Laetitia, sa joie, celle qu'il poursuit au mépris de l'effroi généralisé et du cataclysme historique. Qu'il ait perdu une main à cause d'elle ne le diminue pas : Robinson est un homme frêle, amoindri-il a perdu la main-mais infatigable et peu concerné par les événements. Sometime around 2019, the protagonist went to Cuba to look for a cure for a new disease called 幽命.
The piece stems from my genuine reflection on the immediate years following 2019. I used "geming" (revolution) as a pun for an imagined miraculous pharmakon named "geming" which could only be found in Cuba.
What is this cure? Is it a kind of animal bone ground to powder, a specific fungal virus indigenous to the island? Or could it be a particular segment of history concerning the Cuban Chinese diaspora that is now primarily left in oblivion?  The story ended with a "revolution" between the narrator, a historical printing press, and the cast metal Character types.

这篇小说的初心是我 2019 年的古巴之行，以及此后这个世界我们共同遭遇的种种。故事大致讲了一个在美国读博的中国青年患了一种新的精神疾病叫「幽命」，而据说这种疾病的解药存在于古巴，西班牙古文献中的描述和中文的「骼」很相近，可能是某一种生物的骨骼或者某种原生植物的孢子。青年来到古巴寻药，却遇见一位来自西班牙的女子。她是一位生物学教授，竟然也是来找药的，但药用的目的却是为了拯救家乡因受到不明真菌感染而大量死亡的橡树。青年和女子后来分道扬镳，但他一路上却目睹了「主义不在革命已去」的岛国，心中感触良多，最后竟然在古巴洪门遗留的一间报馆里，和一台老式印刷机和几万个华文铅字进行了一场文字的革命。

The complexity of Hong Kong comes from its own history, which leads commentators to often fall into "complexity" when dealing with Hong Kong issues, almost always linked to politics. This article attempts to pay more attention to author MA's（馬家輝） Once Upon A Time in Hong Kong（《龍頭鳳尾》） and Once Upon A Time In Hong Kong II（《鴛鴦六七四》）. Two literary works analyze its "cultural memory" and provide a new path for the study of Hong Kong culture.
Author MA Ka Fai wanted to leave his own "witness" for the place where he grew up in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, so he used novels to "commemorate". As a city that avoids chaos, Hong Kong embraces and tolerates people from all backgrounds and identities. Many people only start to learn to be Hongkongers after coming to Hong Kong, and their emotions towards the place are only connected to them after becoming Hongkongers. Through MA's writing, mixed with historical data and imagination, readers can better understand the combat of Hong Kong people in the struggle between big powers at that time, as well as their helplessness and compromise with their fate. It is a memory of the environment at that time and an introduction to the colonial situation.
Hong Kong is often used as a creative material because of its complex history and political situation. Hong Kong's "rich and strange" comes from its background, the construction of elements in creation, and the influence of Hong Kong society on creators. The author's narration in the book shows that when the Japanese invaded Hong Kong, they changed the names of places left by the British colonial past. This article believes that it contains the author's own cultural identity and historical accusation. Then, through mingling Chinese and English, Hong Kong is created in everyone's heart and "recreated" Hong Kong for readers.

In the 1930s, well-developed capitalist societies throughout the world faced a global economic decline. During this period, the Japanese government suppressed left-wing ideology, thus increasing political division in colonial Taiwan and semicolonial China. Neo-sensualist authors Ong Nao (1910-1940) and Mu Shiying (1912-1940) had similar years of birth and death and were active during the same literary ear and lived in similar social environments. Their works explored the presentation of social problems in literature and the coexistence of proletarian and neo-sensual topics. This study analyzes the novels of both authors that contain proletarian characters (e.g., farmers and workers), including Uncle Gong, Lohan-Jiao, and Poor A-Jui by Ong and Nan Bei Ji (The North and South Pole) by Mu, to examine the impact of colonial modernity and communism on Taiwanese and Chinese writer conceptions of the proletariat. First, the researcher analyzes depictions of changes to the environment and landscapes to discuss the spatial disorder caused by urban-rural conflict and capitalist repression. Then, the researcher examines the influence of the alienation of labor on the bodies and consciousness of the characters to portray character disabilities, including physical disabilities and mental anxiety. By analyzing the themes and characters in proletarian novels by Ong and Mu set in the 1930s, we can observe how Taiwanese and Chinese authors perceived proletarian life and the physical and psychological disabilities of proletarians. 本文透過中央研究院近代史研究所「婦女期刊作者研究平台」，進行《婦女共鳴》的社會網絡分析。這份以國民黨女性為要角的刊物，在歷時的系譜上，繼承辛亥革命以來婦女參政運動的資源，加入參與五四運動的教師與學生。她們歷經不同的政治選擇，在國民政府時期合作又分裂，再因抗戰結合，如此顯示婦女運動的彈性，兼容國民黨、共產黨、女聲社等組織。她們參與的公共活動重疊，為知識女性群體劃定明確的研究範圍，卻又不僅止於單一社群，可為後五四時期知識女性組織動員型態的研究案例。文章首先梳理編輯群、主要作者的分布情形，進一步觀察她們所形成的社會網絡，希望能更系統地解釋文獻所提供的關係資料，解決過去難以單一史料回答的問題。將婦女報刊研究取向，從言論內容轉向關係網絡，探索透過媒體建構的組織型態及政治文化資本分配的模式。一方面，不同的婦女組織彼此合作，爭取與父權體系談判的籌碼；另一方面，她們相互競爭，爭取女性話語的主導權。
This article analyzes the social network of Women's Resonance through the ＂Authorship of Chinese Women's Periodicals＂ platform of the Institute of Modern History, Academia Sinica. Women's Resonance was a publication that featured Guomindang (Kuomintang) women, having inherited the resources of the movement for women's political participation since the Revolution of 1911. Influenced by the trends of the time, its authors displayed different political choices, cooperating and splitting at various moments, which demonstrates the flexibility of the women's movement. The public activities they participated in overlapped, defining a clear scope for this intellectual women's group. This research is not limited to a single community, but can be a case study of the organization and mobilization patterns of intellectual women in the post-May Fourth period generally. First, this article clarifies the distribution of editing groups and main authors, and further analyzes their social networks. It explains their relationships more systematically and solves certain problems that were limited by content analysis in the past. This article shift scholarly focus from the journal's content to the network of relationships, exploring organizational patterns and patterns of political and cultural capital allocation. Second, it examines how different women's organizations cooperated with each other in bargaining with the patriarchal system. And third, it shows how they competed with each other for the dominance of female discourse.

The literati in the Wei, Jin and late Ming dynasties had similar fashions of the times. They were also in a dark and chaotic political environment. Ethical ethics were empty and formal. The literati lost their dependence on politics and moral character. Facing the chaotic and ugly reality, they had to escape from a "self-liberation" "A place for pleasure", and this "place for pleasure" is a spiritual paradise that is exclusive to oneself and cannot be violated by others.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the possibility of combining the two subjects of retirement and communication studies. After reviewing a series of literature works on "retirement," mostly in the area of social gerontology, the paper discusses the meaning of life stories and traces its origins as well as interdisciplinary potentials. We then suggest a theoretical proposal in the final section trying to link the research traditions of retirement and life stories, because narrating each retiree's own story should offer the advantages of exchanging life values and experiences.

This study aimed to analyze the adverse effects of heavy metals in tea on pregnant mothers and fetal outcomes, using Camellia sinensis tea as a more common beverage after water. The tea constituents are flavonoids containing catechins, which are primary polyphenols recognized as having a strong anti-oxidant activity preventing cellular damage by free radicals. During pregnancy, excessive tea intake negatively impacts the newborn. Tea constituents and their contamination have gained attention as heavy metal contamination exceeds its critical concentrations in tea infusions which may cause adverse effects on both mother and fetus. A total of 400 pregnant women participated in the present study. 早前台灣文學作品內底有一koá hông號做「鄉土文學」ê作品，親像王禎和hia--ê作家ê作品。伊上大ê特色是「用華語或者漢文書寫，內底透濫一寡台語詞」。有人認為che應該算是華語文或者漢文，無算是台語文。Mā 有人kā當作是台語文作品。近來有一koá人kā Homi Bhabha ê文化「透濫」（thàu-lām；hybridity）概念the̍h來解說chit koá「鄉土文學作品」ê書寫方式講是透濫新生語言ê誕生。本論文ê研究目的是ùi社會語言學ê code switching/code mixing kap語言習得ê interlanguage（中介語）ê角度探討chit koá鄉土文學作品ê語言文字使用現象。Ǹg-bāng ē-tàng對台語文學ê定義提出khah明確具體ê判斷標準。

A pilot study and a main study were conducted to investigate what diseases were stigmatized in Taiwan society, and which dimensions people use to represent them. We first conducted a pilot study to find the 10 highly stigmatized diseases routinely seen in Taiwan, including SARS, AIDS, poliomyelitis, sexual disease, depression, drug addiction, psychosis, cleft lip and palate, shenkui (“kidney deficiency,” 腎虧), and pulmonary tuberculosis. In the main study, 44 undergraduates were asked to complete the similarity judgment task and the rating task. In the similarity judgment task, participants compared pairs of diseases and judged the similarity between the one disease and the other for each pair. The aim of this research is to examine whether the states of work-life balance differ according to the different marital statuses of commercial pilots in Pakistan. The increasing intensities resulting from globalization have led to pressure on organizations, and in times such as the present when job insecurity and downsizing are a norm, employees tend to invest more effort and time into their professions to provide them with greater security. As a result, employees often neglect the other and equally important domain, the life domain. The variables that were used for the research study are marital status and work-life balance. This quantitative study concluded that commercial pilots, regardless of their marital statuses, undergo massive imbalances in their work and life domains. The study also provides recommendations for improving levels of work-life balance.

In the period between the late sixties and mid-seventies, the government
of Taiwan undertook broad-scale action to police young men who were thought to have grown their hair too long. Situating such regulation of the masculine body in the context of Cold War gender politics, social transformation, and the history of Taiwan’s particular hair rules, this paper examines the ways in which long-haired men were understood as a sign of the country’s crisis articulated in terms of Western and communist corrupting influences. I argue that this history is gendered at various levels, including the appropriation and reinvention of the term “bu nan bu nu” (neither man nor woman) to describe such a supposed foreign corruption of “authentic” Chinese culture, and which implied that men were not supposed to distinguish themselves by adopting an unconventional hair style. Even though ‘long-haired’ men did not intend to adopt women’s hair style, they did resist the rigidly imposed regulations of body appearance. It was through this resistance and the claiming of the freedom to one’s own body expression that men worked against the limitations that were imposed upon them. The case of long-haired men was not merely an example of how the martial law system restricted freedom of expression; it was also a case in which the regulations of gendered body appearance intertwined with both the state and cultural politics.

The focus in this paper is masculine stratification in campus subcultures. This paper (1) questions why masculinity has become an ennobled concept in schooling and (2) discusses the relationships among moral panic, the crisis of masculinity, and queerness. By reviewing relevant theoretical debates on the basis of some fieldwork-based anecdotes, this paper examines how external social or cultural mechanisms shape masculine identities in school fields. Finally, this paper portrays certain possible reactions to homophobia.

解嚴後，台灣的同志文化場域給了影音多元的舞台，「同志國歌」的討論也浮出，它主要是指能召喚同志集體情感的歌曲。本研究在後同婚時代重新回顧這份歌單的形成和建構，發現其在變化的社會政治環境中不斷被重新定義和深化。

將「同志國歌」放置於華語流行音樂的在地性脈絡中，有其特殊性。首先，這些歌曲不一定是抗議歌曲，而往往是流行情歌。其次，這份歌單不僅收錄暢談「驕傲認同」的作品，也選入看似在抵抗論述之外的保守「浪漫愛」旋律。同志國歌一般令人聯想到西洋電音舞曲，但華語同志國歌卻發展出在地的抒情苦味路線。伴著性別運動的發展和性平實踐的成果，晚近流行歌和音樂錄影帶更直接地置入鮮明的性別元素。不過，工業邏輯下高度複製的、具有明確同志消費族群訴求的歌曲，不見得比1980年代以來累積的同志國歌更獲青睞。隨著市場和媒介的轉變，這些歌曲在牽動情感、抵抗主流文化的過程中發揮了不一的效果。

本研究透過蒐羅報章雜誌、文學作品，一面進行文化生產的觀察，一面進行文本分析，並探討幾個要點：一、同志國歌一詞促成同志「國」的共同體想像，不僅呼應自《孽子》「黑暗王國」效應帶來的認同政治，也帶出同志流徙於T bar或Gay bar中游擊的空間性。二、這些史料來自主流新聞媒體對同志世界的好奇窺探，也有同志運動和雜誌自行票選調查的檔案。三、當代台灣作品，包含女、男同志的散文和小說，經常引用這些歌詞達成音樂性及互文性，並且實踐洪席耶（Jacques Rancière）的感性配享之美學政治：文學唱國歌不只是單向的傳達，而是成為與讀者相遇的場所。

本論文討論 60 年代臺語片生產與臺北之間的關聯。電影與城市之間可以具有幾種不同關聯，首先是再現與實景紀錄上的價值，再者是城市與電影作為一種有具體物質基礎的藝術形式之間的物質關聯，如片場與電影院的建設等等。本文聚焦在梁哲夫《高雄發的尾班車》（1963）與《台北發的早車》（1964），討論電影、現代性、城市經驗以及感性的公共／私密性之間的問題，首先藉由《高雄發的尾班車》之中的電視探討電視在 1963 年的特殊性以及《高雄發的尾班車》的「展示」之間的關係，再藉由《台北發的早車》中的女性角色刻劃以及其召喚的共同感性經驗，嘗試分析 60 年代臺灣的媒介經驗與正在形成的現代都市之間的關聯。

This article discusses the relationship between Taipei City and the production of Taiyupian (Taiwanese-language cinema). There are many ways to relate cinema and the city: one is of cinema’s representation and cityscape documentation value—and Taiyupian serves as good example—and another one is the infrastructural relation: cinema, as an material art, and the city are both material and they are materially related—studios, movie theaters, etc. By analyzing Liang Che-fu’s two films, “Last Train
from Kaohsiung” (1963) and “Early Train from Taipei” (1964), this article elucidates the relation between cinema, modernity, urban experience and the public/private sensations in 1960s Taiwan; the former designates a pedagogy of spectatorship that shows people how to watch the TV, and the latter’s portrait of female subjection and its interpellation of a common but private sentiment illustrates cinema as a sense-organizing apparatus. By looking into these two films, this article tries to describe the mediated experience of a forming, second-coming modernity in Postwar Taiwan.

段義孚教授，被視為是1970年代人本主義地理學的奠基者，並促成地理學門內重要的哲學轉變，於2022年8月10以91歲高齡過世。
    對實存意義的探究，引導段義孚把地理學視為人的反映，以及地理學揭露人本質的較深層次。他已從廣泛的人本主義觀點而擴展地理學的意義，並界定地理學領域為把地球視為人類家園的研究。對段義孚來說，人本主義地理學的要旨，就是去提升自我意識的承擔。最終，他肯認人文地理學為一門道德的科學，作為人們如何生活以及人們如何已成功或未能去實行他們文化準則的研究。
他對地理學領域的影響是巨大的。他的著作影響多個世代的地理學學習者與學術界的思考，並受到遍及人文與社會科學的學者以及學術界外專業人士，廣為引用與閱讀。
    本論文首先將介紹段義孚的生平，隨後討論在他已出版的專書中三個重複出現的主題：地方被感受的特性、權力的心理學以及做為想像力的文化。最後，本論文將進一步揭示段義孚對本文作者研究的重大意義。

2019年COVID-19疫情爆發，全球各醫療研究單位致力於研發疫苗、擴充醫療資源。隨著疫情逐漸嚴峻，教育機構中，教學與學習方式也產生變化，圖書館由於疫情擴散的關閉，也影響了讀者借閱以及閱讀紙本書籍的便利性。本研究旨在探討疫情下，臺灣大學生族群在閱讀臺灣文學時，使用的「閱讀媒介」與偏好的「閱讀體裁」是否受到疫情影響。本研究採用問卷調查方式，以臺灣大專院校大學生族群為調查對象，回收有效調查問卷435份。本研究結果發現，COVID-19疫情期間，一、大學生閱讀臺灣文學時，使用的媒介為紙本書的平均數高於電子書。二、大學生偏好的臺灣文學閱讀體裁，平均數最高為小說體裁。三、性別並不影響大學生族群對於紙本書與電子書閱讀媒介的偏好。四、男性與女性大學生族群，在詩、散文、劇本閱讀體裁的偏好上皆有所差異。五、大學生使用電子書作為閱讀媒介的偏好越高，使用紙本書作為閱讀媒介的偏好越低。六、喜愛閱讀詩、散文、小說、劇本體裁的大學生，更傾向於使用紙本書來閱讀。

In 2019, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak shocked the whole world. Since then, many aspects of our lives have undergone a dramatic transformation. For one thing, the medical circle has focused on developing vaccines and increasing medical resources. In addition, the fast spread of the virus also leads to the shutdown of schools and libraries, making it inconvenient for people to borrow and read paper books. It is assumed that in response to the situation, people are likely to make changes when doing the reading. This study aims to explore whether this epidemic impacts the reading tools and the preferred genres for undergraduates in Taiwan when reading Taiwan literature. This research adopted the questionnaire method to conduct a survey on college students in Taiwan. In total, 435 copies of valid questionnaires were collected. The analysis of the results found that: 1. During the epidemic, when subjects read Taiwan literature, more of them resorted to paper books. Regarding the reading tool, paper books accounted for a more significant percentage than electronic books, 2. During the epidemic, the favorite genre of Taiwan literature for the subjects was novels, 3. there was no significant difference between genders in choosing the reading tool, 4. there were differences between genders in genre preference of Taiwan literature, 5. when subjects preferred using electronic books, they showed a slight preference for using paper books. Namely, there was a negative correlation between the use of e-books and paper books, 6. the surveyed college students who loved reading poetry, prose, fiction, and drama preferred to do the reading by using paper books.
