In order to promote the inclusion of children with Special Needs in Arts Education Programmes of Music in Portugal, an Action-Research project began in September 2018. The present work-an Integrative Literature Review-aims to identify articles related to the theme of our study, analyse what the objectives of these studies were, their methodological options and the conclusions obtained. In this way we will have an in-depth notion of the state of art, or what is already known about the inclusion of children with motor disabilities due to Cerebral Palsy in music teaching. We began by conducting a search through selected keywords in English in the search engine b-on and Google Scholar, and in the following databases: Science Direct, Scopus, ERIC, Scielo and Web of Science. Sixty articles related to the theme of our study were selected. All the compiled information was organised and studied by content analysis supported by the webQDA software.
Among the results obtained, we found the need to invest in specialised teacher training, in curricular adaptations considering the students’ potentialities and in enabling contexts and accessibility. The studies also refer the need to develop a collaborative network, that includes designers, teachers, participants, parents, therapists, researchers, etc. so that musical instruments, or digital technologies that replace them, are accessible to all and suited to their individual needs. In this way, the inclusion of people with Special Needs in Arts Education Programmes of Music will be a reality.

Purpose: The aim of this literature review is to describe how eating disorders among adolescents affect family relationships and the family’s daily living conditions and to describe the family’s experienced need for professional support.
Design/methodology/approach: An integrative literature review based on the method of Whittemore and Knafl (2005). 15 articles with both qualitative and quantitative approaches were reviewed.
Findings: The results are presented in two main themes: A disharmonic family and The need for input from healthcare professionals. The results are discussed using Callista Roy's adaptation model and the adaptive modes; Group Identity Mode, Role Function and Interdependence.
Originality/value: This review article will be of interest to clinical nurses and other professionals who encounter families to clarify how the relationships and roles change within the family. To our knowledge, no integrative review has paid attention to how the relational aspects of the family members, their social roles and role constructions within the family affect daily living.

Mental disorders affect not only individual well-being but also community health, which pushes mental care professionals to investigate various solutions to accommodate different needs. The exercise of Baduanjin, a form of Qigong, facilitates improvements in psychological health, potentially serving as an alternative choice for interventions. This comprehensive review analyses 28 publications, among which three are in English and 25 in Chinese, these indicating enhancement in quality of life and mental health for a variety of participants, including college students, middle-aged individuals, the elderly, and patients who suffer from different mental problems or chronic physical illnesses. The outcomes suggest that this cost-effective, learner-friendly and self-pacing exercise should be promoted in individual and group settings for both curative and preventive measures, and for which further investigations are also recommended.

New Information and Communication Technologies such as the Internet, online gaming worlds, artificial intelligence, robotics and 3D printing require new literacies. In recent years, digital competence has become a key concept in discussions on the kind of skills and understanding learners need in the Knowledge Society. The concept has been interpreted in various ways (e.g. Digital Literacy, Digital Competence, eLiteracy, e-Skills, eCompetence, Computer literacy, and Media literacy) in policy documents, in the academic literature, and in teaching, learning and certification practices. In this paper we review the literature on digital competence and related terms. This review of 73 articles published between 1990 and 2014 shows that digital competence is a multi-faceted concept that has emerged from several backgrounds. Not yet a stable concept, there are still no clear guidelines for evaluating it. While some perceive digital competence as the technical use of ICT, others define it more broadly as knowledge application or 21st century skills.

O comportamento antissocial é um conceito polissêmico que se encontra presente na prática e no corpus teórico de áreas como o Direito, a Psicologia, a Psiquiatria e a Sociologia, assumindo uma multiplicidade conceitual análoga aos seus vários campos de abordagem. Não há consenso sobre a natureza e dimensionalidade do comportamento antissocial, fazendo com que, nesse contexto plural, despontem uma série de modelos explicativos do fenômeno. Nesse sentido, o presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar a organização epistemológica das teorias explicativas do comportamento antissocial. Para tanto, apresenta-se delineado como revisão integrativa de literatura, buscando além de apresentar e descrever o fenômeno, conhecê-lo e analisá-lo dentro de seu contexto sócio-histórico. Para construção dessa revisão, foram selecionadas as bases de dados APA-PsycArticles, Lilacs e Redalyc. Da mesma forma, adotou-se os seguintes filtros: descritor único Antisocial Behavior; produções do tipo artigo de periódico; nos idiomas Português, Inglês e Espanhol; no intervalo temporal de 2006 a 2016; e nas áreas das Ciências Humanas, Sociais e da Saúde. Como suporte ao processo de organização dos dados, foi feito uso do software Atlas.ti (versão 5). Selecionou-se um total de 95 artigos, detalhados da seguinte forma: em termos de bases de dados, obteve-se 26 artigos na APA-PsycArticles, 20 na Lilacs e 49 na Redalyc; no que se refere ao idioma, foram 35 em Inglês, 38 em Espanhol e 22 em Português; em relação ao método, 19 foram de natureza documental/revisional/teórico e 76 são estudos de campo/empíricos/experimental; em termos de amostra, destacou-se as que empregavam crianças e adolescentes em suas avaliações, com 48,6% do total de estudos de campo/empírico/experimental. Após analisados, os artigos foram organizados em função de sua fundamentação epistemológica, delineando-se em quatro grandes aproximações: clínico-psiquiátrica (27 artigos), comportamental (28 artigos), legal (17 artigos) e sociológica (23 artigos). Cada uma destas apresentou eixos temáticos próprios que foram discutidos, a fim de clarificar as abordagens mais proeminentes acerca do construto. Na parte final do estudo, em contraponto às aproximações expostas, apresentou-se os modelos integrativos de compreensão do fenômeno a partir de uma epistemologia pluralizada. Essa pesquisa construiu um vasto apanhado epistemo-metodológico dos modelos e teorias explicativas do comportamento antissocial, inédito em língua portuguesa, que se espera servir de referência aos estudos e trabalhos nas áreas multidisciplinares para as quais o tema surge como demanda relevante.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to explore the antecedents and consequences of employee engagement (EE) in global research and Vietnamese business context.
Design/methodology/approach
This review was conducted in the following order: an integrative review for garnering drivers and outcomes of EE in global research, followed by a narrative review for selecting variables relevant to Vietnamese businesses.
Findings
In EE global research, a 3 × 3 findings framework was devised. Three antecedent clusters included the internal environment, job-related and employee-related factors. EE resulted in three outcome clusters: intra-role behaviors, extra-role behaviors and personal development and growth. In Vietnamese businesses, few studies existed on organizational learning and organizational support as EE antecedents, whereas turnover intention was examined the most as an EE outcome.
Research limitations/implications
The search was limited to EE-related peer-reviewed articles in Business Source Complete and Google Scholar. Literature on Vietnam EE was restricted to ProQuest Dissertations and Theses and Google Scholar because of a lack of literature availability on this topic in Business Source Complete.
Practical implications
Knowing that leadership, HR practices and working environment are important antecedents of EE in Vietnam (Table II) would prompt enterprise leaders and managers to improve the company’s conditions for engaging its employees. This is an important finding because Vietnamese businesses are suffering increasing turnover. Creating favorable organizational support evidenced via career growth opportunities, pay and benefits, company culture, job fit and effective management will stimulate employees to stay and engage.
Originality/value
This study emphasizes the organizational and employee factors in EE research and calls for combined research application to inform EE in Vietnamese businesses, thus providing ground for human resource development researchers and practitioners in their respective work.

This paper reports on a literature review of the concept of “Digital Natives” and related terms. More specifically, it reports on the idea of a homogeneous generation of prolific and skilled users of digital technology born between 1980 and 1994. In all, 127 articles published between 1991 and 2014 were reviewed. On the basis of the findings, there appears to be no commonly-accepted definition of a “Digital Native”. The concept varies among individuals, societies, regions and nations, and also over time. Moreover, there are a number of variables other than age that may help us understand the nature of students’ use of digital technologies. The so-called “Digital Native” literature demonstrates that despite students’ high digital confidence and digital skills, their digital competence may be much lower than those of their “digital teachers”. Given the confusion surrounding “Digital Native” and its affiliates, we propose to unify them under the concept “digital learners”.

This article presents the findings of an integrative literature review (ILR) of studies conducted in a 10-year period from 2010 to 2020 covering the contribution of Black African Migrant Women (BAMW) Entrepreneurs in the host country and sustain family in the home country. Furthermore, it highlights the psychological impact of pressure to earn a living juxtaposed with the expectations of their highly skilled status. The review underscores how their intersectionality leaves them predisposed to multiple barriers and disadvantages in the labour market and entrepreneurship. Thus, making an important scholarly contribution by offering further insights on intersectional complexity, women's entrepreneurial skills and contributions, and self-inclusion drawing from lived experiences of BAMW. Finally, the paper signposts areas for further research into BAMW's entrepreneurial motivations and outcomes at this critical juncture in participation of women and migrants in the achievements of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A partir da reflexão sobre como a prática do design vem se constituindo como uma potente ferramenta de articulação social, o presente artigo se propõe a construir uma malha de significação a partir tanto da visão histórica da transformação do papel do design, como do que vem sendo produzido sobre suas novas possibilidades, fazendo uso do método de revisão integrativa como um processo capaz de filtrar de maneira relevante os resultados obtidos em uma pesquisa de revisão de literatura. Pretende se, assim, identificar os artigos acadêmicos que abordem o design como ferramenta metodológica para auxiliar e promover processos democráticos de participação cidadã, considerando o número de ocorrências, conceitos utilizados e resultados obtidos. Por fim, o artigo procura discutir o modelo de pesquisa de revisão integrativa, propondo uma reflexão crítica sobre o tensionamento entre um processo metodológico de pesquisa em design altamente rigoroso e sistemático e a sua adequação a um processo capaz de incluir subjetividades imanentes a própria pesquisa.

The existing body of research on leadership has revealed that leadership attributes at individual level are essential for the success of organisations, where self-leadership is alluded to as a critical facilitator of successful organisational leadership. Despite a wealth of knowledge about the self-leadership of managers accessible in literature, not much is known about the self-leadership of nurse educators. The aim of this integrative literature review is to understand the meaning of nurse educator self-leadership in a nursing education institution context to improve quality of nursing education. The keyword 'self-leadership' was used to conduct a comprehensive computer-assisted literature search. Databases such as Google Scholar, CINAHL, ProQuest, PubMed, SAGE, MEDLINE, ERIC, and EMERALD were used to ensure a comprehensive search. The integrative literature review focused its search on studies that were and available in the English language from years 2000 to 2019. Fourteen peer-reviewed research articles were included following a critical review. The themes that emerged relate to self-leadership benefits; lack of self-leadership and factors that enable self-leadership in educators. Regardless of an educational setting, self-leadership improved the performance of educators. However, the way nurse educator self-leadership is practiced in nursing education institutions remains unknown, owing to insufficient literature on the phenomenon. It is essential that the concept of nurse educator self-leadership be further explored to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the concept and its practice in a nursing education context.

In the last decade, interest in investigating the sustainable employability (SE) of older workers has gained ground, generating a significant number of theoretical and empirical contributions. However, the construct of SE lacks a definition accepted by the scientific community and unified measurement criteria, which has led to results that, so far, do not allow us to draw solid conclusions on its relevance. The aim of this integrative review is twofold. Firstly, we review the theoretical formulations and definitions proposed, as well as the main empirical results of the studies and interventions on SE. Our review includes 31 studies (26 empirical and five theoretical; total sample size N = 33,368). Secondly, proposals and suggestions are offered aimed at integrating the previous results and advancing in the definition, operationalization, and measurement of SE, with the ultimate goal of increasing its value for future research in the mid-and late-career domain.

Quality in the workforce is essential for organizational competitiveness, requiring human resource executives to develop programs in pursuit of business success: one such possibility is meditation. The current integrative review provides an overview of how meditation can contribute to life in the workplace. In analyzing 10 empirical studies carried out in North America, Europe, and Asia, it indicates the presence of individual and organizational dimensions, in that meditation not only benefits personal and mental health and social relationships, as well as the alleviation of role conflicts, but also benefits organizational innovativeness and development. These results point to future studies and reveal implications for practices related to integrating meditation into daily life and building mindful organizations.

Back translation (BT) has received little attention in Translation Studies, but in the health sciences, it is considered the gold standard for quality assurance in the process of cross-cultural adaptation of research. Despite the widespread application of BT in the health sciences, limited focus seems to be given to the qualifications of the person actually performing the job, i.e., the back translator. Furthermore, guidelines on the BT methodology use a variety of terms to describe the desired qualifications of the back translator. Against this backdrop, this study set out to investigate how back translators are described in health sciences research studies on the translation of research instruments and how these descriptions match the literature and guidelines on the BT methodology. Based on an integrative literature review of 105 empirical studies within the health sciences, the results show that some studies provide no or extremely limited information on back translators; for instance, some studies do not even provide the number of back translators used. When the language and translation competences of the back translator are, in fact, described, a variety of labels are used, and these are sometimes vague or even conflicting.
