PESTLE Analysis

Cloud computing, the long-held dream of computing as a utility, has the potential to transform a large part of the IT industry, making software even more attractive as a service and shaping the way IT hardware is designed and purchased.  In this case study, our research objective are to investigate the factors of emergence of cloud computing and to apply PESTLE analysis in order to determine the factors for the emergence of cloud computing.  The research is based on the six major elements (PESTLE) which obtained from secondary data with qualitative analysis.  With cloud computing, companies with large batch-oriented tasks can get results as quickly as their programs can scale, since using 1000 servers for one hour costs no more than using one server for 1000 hours [1].  In our opinion, cloud computing had succeeded in data-sharing at the same time through server to all users.

The development of an advance and safer hybrid car technology is necessary in today’s market due to the shortage of fossil fuel and global warming problem. The objectives of this paper are to investigate and identify the factors and rationales that move Toyota into hybrid vehicle production. PESTLE analysis is used to analyze the collected secondary data. According to PESTLE analysis, there are several reasons that affect Toyota to produce hybrid car. Based on the PESTLE analysis, all the factors are reasonable to support Toyota move to hybrid vehicle production.

Preparing a marketing environmental analysis is an essential step in understanding the external local, national, or international forces that might affect your small business. These factors are largely outside your direct control, but you can adapt your business and marketing strategy to take advantage of the opportunities they present while minimizing the potential threats. This report will describe the key factors which create hurdles in marketing operations of Qatar Airways (QTR), which is the national airline of the State of Qatar and also considered to be one of the youngest top airlines of the world. This report will further discuss the role of GCC crisis which intensified the challenges for QTR’s growth and also discuss the major opportunities for QTR in form of FIFA World cup (2022) which can give the airline a chance to grow exponentially. Finding factors and reason is the important part in the creating technology. This way can help them when they want to create that technology and at the same time the function that has in that technology can help to solve the problem that has. Data’s that we get from resources is been analyzed with us by using qualitative data analysis. Based on the data that we get, we find that Blest Corp. has created technology that very useful that can solve problem that has in using of plastics. With that technology, the problems that occur in earth can be solving with using of this technology. Based on that technology, it shows that this PESTLE analysis model can help to create technology and at the same time the function that has is can solve problem that happen when manage or create technology.

This paper presents an overview of the Malawi energy situation and the potential of renewable energy resources including solar, wind, biomass, hydro and geothermal. Despite a range of efforts by local and international stakeholders to increase access to modern energy sources in the country, 89 per cent of Malawi׳s energy is still sourced from traditional biomass mainly fuel wood. Only 8 per cent of the population in Malawi have access to electricity but installed capacity of electricity generation is lower than demand. This leads to load shedding by the electricity supplier; consequently electricity supply in Malawi is unreliable and micro and macroeconomic activities are significantly affected. The ability of the urban population to maintain a competitive position in a particular region among other cities is aimed at improving the quality of life of major issues for development. In fact, the goal of urban competitiveness is to create a framework in which both firms and society can compete at a time and in society they will boom and prosper.  The present research tries to identify and prioritize the factors affecting the competitiveness of Tabriz city using descriptive-analytical method and the location of each of the components and indicators of urban competitiveness. Therefore, two levels of urban environment, including environmental factors and internal factors influencing competitiveness of Tabriz city, were identified. PESTLE analysis was used to identify external factors opportunities and threats were categorized in six economic, social, political, technological, legal, and environmental fields and identifying internal factors by studying the views of different scientists and using the Delphi technique in four categories human, organizational, physical and economic factors were classified. After defining the components, the factors were mutually matched to the ranking and extraction of each other by Mic Mac and believing modes in the competitiveness of Tabriz city was formulated with a futuristic approach. To identify possible states among believable futures a total of 40 graduates and executive directors were selected through scoring using Likert scale. There were 28 possible scenarios. The results show that among the four scenarios of desirable situations, improvement, warning and crisis improvement scenario with a score of 62.8 is more compatible with the competitiveness of Tabriz city. In this scenario, attention to research and development and its linkage with economic sectors, having relatively stable security to increase the attraction of skilled workers, changes in the economy of the region due to industrial activity and the activation of several industrial towns in the urban area, and encouragement, support and facilitation of entrepreneurship by the government and increased investment by the private sector, it focuses on the city.

Στο δεύτερο μέρος, μελετάται η περίπτωση του Πολιτιστικού Κέντρου Εργαζομένων ΟΤΕ Ν. Αττικής. Διερευνώνται οι παράγοντες του άμεσου και έμμεσου εξωτερικού περιβάλλοντος, που επηρεάζουν την οικονομική του ανάπτυξη στη σημερινή συγκυρία και έχουν οδηγήσει στη δραματική μείωση του αριθμού των μελών του, απειλώντας τη βιωσιμότητά του και στο τέλος, εξάγονται στοιχειώδη συμπεράσματα με βάση την παραπάνω μελέτη.

This paper presents the technical and economic feasibility of photovoltaic and wind based energy system relative to existing diesel generators which are scheduled for only 14 hours per day for Likoma Island grid in Malawi. The diesel based electricity supply, and the solar and wind based electricity supply were simulated using the Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewables (HOMER). Time-series load profile data, energy systems cost data, and time-series wind and solar resources data were the key model inputs. Hourly load profile was modelled based on empirical data of electricity end-use appliances and their associated time of use. Input capital and operation costs for energy technologies equipment, and development costs were estimated based on information elicited from international and local (Malawi) technology suppliers and construction industry practitioners. The findings indicate that with the financial resources committed to the prevailing 14-hours supply of electricity by diesel generators, it would be feasible to provide the Likoma Island grid with electricity for 24 hours every day by photovoltaic and wind based energy systems. The findings provide cost projections of photovoltaic and wind energy systems relative to diesel generators upon which investment and policy decisions can be made. His resaerch experience in the area of renewable energy dates back to 1978. He was the external examiner of the thesis from which this work has been extracted.

Bu sebeple kültür ve kültürel mirasın eğitim ortamlarındaki durumunun açığa çıkarılması önemlidir.
