Abstract: Quantitative sensory testing (QST) measures perception thresholds of defined intensities of physical stimuli (e.g. temperature, touch, pressure, vibration). The frequency and severity of subjective sensory effects (itch, burn), though less quantifiable, can be characterized under defined conditions such as product testing. This article reviews two sources of published research on sensory perception on the vulva relative to extragenital sites: (1) systematic, quantitative sensory testing with defined stimuli and (2) vulvar sensory effects reported in clinical trials of external feminine hygiene products. In healthy women, the vulva is less sensitive to punctate touch and vibration than other body sites. Vulvar sensitivity to mechanical stimuli declines after menopause, but is restored by estrogen supplementation. Cette étude apprécie la dynamique de l’occupation des terres et son probable devenir dans un avenir moyen et lointain au Centre du Bénin. Elle se base sur une approche combinatoire qui intègre la télédétection spatiale, les systèmes d’information géographique et les automates cellulaires. Des images Landsat TM de 1986, ETM de 2000 et NigeriaSat1 de 2006 ont été
utilisées pour l’extraction des informations sur l’occupation du sol. Ces informations ont été
traitées et converties sous format ASCII dans ArcGIS, puis récupérées dans le modèle des automates cellulaires SPACELLE où des projections ont été faites aux horizons 2025 et 2034, suivant deux scénarios qui pourraient se produire sous des conditions socio-économiques définies. La détection des changements indique une tendance progressive des champs et
jachères, les savanes arborées et arbustives entre 1986 et 2006. Quant à la forêt dense et la forêt-galerie, elles présentent une tendance régressive au niveau des quatre unites paysagiques sélectionnées. Le scénario socio-économique révèle que les formations végétales
vont quasiment disparaître au profit des champs et jachères et des agglomérations en 2016, 2025, tendance qui va se consolider davantage en 2034. Le scénario écologique a tourné à un scénario de stabilité environnementale, se traduisant par une dynamique relative, mais qui préservera les ressources surtout les formations végétales, car leur degré de dégradation ne
sera pas aussi élevé.

La Coop des Territoires, en partenariat avec le PETR du Pays du Bocage (Orne, Normandie, France), a mené une étude sur l'avenir des commerces de proximité selon la méthode de la prospective aspirationnelle, dans 3 territoires distincts du Pays du Bocage : Bocage Sud (Juvigny), Bocage Nord (Putanges) et Bocage Centre (Briouze). Après avoir recueilli les perspectives des élus, commerçants et habitants du territoire pendant 6 ateliers, nous avons élaboré 7 scénarios : 1 tendanciel général, et 1 souhaitable et 1 défi pour chaque territoire. Les scénarios ont été complétés par une analyse comparative des enjeux communs et différents selon les territoires. 18 pistes d'actions ont été dégagés pour restaurer et redynamiser le commerce de proximité sur les territoires.

It remains unclear whether the time-use composition of 24-h movement behaviours (sleep, sedentary time (ST), physical activity (PA)) and recreational screen use are independently associated with psychosocial health. This study examined the cross-sectional and longitudinal associations between 24-h movement behaviour composition, recreational screen use and psychosocial health outcomes in children. In the paper I evaluate an ideomotor (comparator model) and a premotor (action selection) model of sense of agency. It is argued that the premotor model is overall more satisfactory in explaining sense of agency but, as I claim, its explanatory power is limited – i.e., there are certain cases where it falls short of it. Accordingly, an alternative model of sense of agency is outlined, which treats the awareness of action as an epiphenomenon.

El soporte epistemológico de una propuesta pedagógica se enmarca necesariamente en una filosofía ya su vez trae implícita una concepción ética, la cual identifica al hombre en su pensamiento y la manera de comportarse en un tiempo histórico. A este conjunto de constructos sociales ya otras interrelaciones le llamamos cultura. De ahí que pasar de un comportamiento heterónomo a una ética autónoma es contribuir ya, a la transformación humana. ABSTRACT:

The epistemological support of a pedagogical proposal is necessarily framed on a philosophy and in turn, it brings an implied ethical conception that identifies man in his thinking and acting in a historical time. This set of social constructs and other relationships is called culture. Hence, moving from a heteronomous behavior to an autonomous ethics is to contribute to human transformation. This paper is intended to embody an education that values man as being existentially capable and therefore builds his pedagogy on autonomous learning.

В статье рассматриваются средства выражения значений, соответствующих подготовительной стадии ситуации, в русском языке. Указание на подготовительную стадию ситуации может производиться несколькими способами: в рамках сочетаний с вот-вот, никак не (все не, все никак не), было (и чуть было не). Как показывает анализ, рассматриваемые языковые средства обладают рядом общих свойств. Так, во всех рассматриваемых конструкциях предпочтительным оказывается употребление предикатов СВ. Употребление предикатов будущего времени НСВ исключается, использование предикатов прошедшего и настоящего времени НСВ ограничено узким кругом глаголов с модальной семантикой.

The paper focuses on the means used to refer to the preparatory stage of a situation in Russian. It is shown that several constructions in Russian aim to express the idea that a situation is to or was to occur. In this respect, the conctructions vot-vot + V, nikak ne (vse ne, vse nikak ne) + V, bylo (and chut' bylo ne) + V are examined. The analysis reveals that these linguistic means have certain common features. In these constructions the use of perfective predicate is preferable and its temporal characteristic is defined by the main function of the " auxiliary " element. Future imperfective predicates are excluded from the analysis, while the use of present and past imperfectives is mainly restricted to the verbs with modal semantics.

Il est fondé sur la qualité des produits, l’autonomie, la proximité, et la solidarité locale, nationale et internationale. Il suppose de nouvelles politiques alimentaires.

Aims/Objectives: Acceptance of chronic pain is related to active patient engagement in valued aspects of life. This study sought to prospectively evaluate acceptance and patient functioning in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)-based chronic pain management program. Methods: Participants in this study were 184 consecutive adult patients with heterogeneous pain admitted to a interdisciplinary four-week Chronic Pain Management Program (CPMP) who completed self-report questionnaires at admission and discharge. Measures examined pain perception, psychological/emotional and social aspects of patient experience with chronic pain. Acceptance was evaluated by the Chronic Pain Acceptance Questionnaire (CPAQ). 1 Results: Patients showed all-round improvement after program completion. Consistent with other studies, higher acceptance scores at admission were associated with more overall positive change at discharge. In addition, greater increase in acceptance scores at discharge was also associated with greater improvement in other variables. However, no significant change was shown in the Pain Willingness subscale of the CPAQ. Discussion: This study provides a new understanding of the relationship of acceptance of chronic pain with patient functioning in a CBT-oriented pain management program. Results suggest that engaging in activity regardless of pain is an important program goal. This is directly measured by the Activity Engagement component of the CPAQ, which increases following participation in a CBT-based CPMP. Study findings also differ from some previous research and suggest that Pain Willingness may be a poor predictor of patient functioning. Limitations: Results were obtained from patients at an interdisciplinary program and may not be generalized to the entire chronic pain population. Also, these results only demonstrate associations between acceptance and other variables, not causality. In addition , patients in this study served as their own controls (admission-discharge) thus the study lacks a true control group. Conclusion: This study extends previous research by contributing needed prospective data on the relationship between acceptance and patient functioning.

Abstract. We investigate, within the UTP framework of designs, the effect of seeing computation as an essentially reversible process. We describe the theoretical link between reversibility and the minimum power requirements of a computation, and we review Zuliani’s work on Reversible pGCL which brings reversible computing within the scope of formal software development. We propose an alternative formalisation of reversible computing which exploits reversibility to provide backtracking. To obtain a basic backtracking language able to search for a single result we exploit the already recognised properties of non-deterministic choice, using it as provisional choice rather than implementor’s choice. We add a “prospective values ” formalism which can describe programs that return all the possible results of a search, and we show how to formally describe the premature termination of such a search, a mechanism analogous to the “cut ” of Prolog. Además, día a día se suman derrotados seres humanos que engrosan la miseria de las cada vez más agrandadas ciudades. Sin embargo, algunos quijotes de la educación han dedicado esfuerzos al mejoramiento integral: comprometer al marginado en su propio desarrollo y el de su comunidad. En este sueño encontramos, entre otros, el ejercicio de Acción Cultural Popular (acpo) y la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (unad). Sus metodologías, procesos y eficacia, han sido objeto de alabanza, con la misma facilidad con la que han sido sujeto de descrédito. ABSTRACT:

Looking at our reality from social history leads us to recognize that there have always been excluded human groups; that is the case of the peasantry, whose decline in numbers has been to worsen the situation and the national environment, since every day scattered human beings join to swell the misery of the cities increasingly enlarged. Some quixotic of the education have devoted efforts to the overall improvement: engage the marginalized in their own development and their community. In this dream we find among others the exercise of “Acción Cultural Popular” (acpo) and the “Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (unad)”. Its methodologies, processes and effectiveness have been the subject of praise as well as disrepute.

This research demonstrates the incidence of demand estimates on the profitability of the enterprises advised within the «Productive Inclusion» program carried out by the Ministry of Industries and Productivity-Mipro (Ecuador). The academic-practical contribution that derives from the present object of study will be inputs for this Ministry, its corresponding zones, departments and for those who give adequate use of the final product. The objective of this work is to determine the incidence of a statistical estimation model of the demand in the improvement of the profitability of the enterprises, which includes evaluating the estimation model of the used demand to determine the levels of profitability, the variables of incidence, and to identify the components of a statistical estimation model. These objectives were achieved through data collection, numerical measurement, and statistical analysis of the data. The target population is comprised of 702 enterprises, classified into 4 productive sectors: trade in goods, trade in services, manufacturing and agriculture. Establishing a sample of 248 observations with a 95% confidence level and a standard deviation of 0.5, the result obtained is the design of a statistical estimation model of the demand and its applicability, whose accuracy is statistically and financially acceptable, which means the improvement of the profitability of the enterprises assessed and the fulfillment of the institutional objectives.

Background We compared, in patients contraindicated for kidney transplant, outcomes between those patients who were only on hemodialysis (HD) and those who were given peritoneal dialysis (PD) as first renal replacement therapy (RRT). Design Prospective, population-based cohort study of incident cases of end-stage renal disease between June 1997 and June 1999. Setting A network of dialysis care: NEPHROLOR, that is, all the renal units in Lorraine, one of the 22 French administrative regions (population over 2.3 million people). Participants 387 patients were contraindicated for kidney transplant during the first 2 years of RRT: 284 were on HD, 103 on PD. Mean age was 67.6 ± 11.3 years for HD patients and 70.8 ± 11.4 years for PD patients ( p = 0.015). Este artículo pretende mostrar el modelo colombiano de Educación Abierta ya Distancia y acompañar el recorrido que llega a puerto gracias a una amplia gama de prácticas autóctonas, enriquecidas con experiencias de otros países. Un programa cooperado, que se vale del uso sistemático y organizado de medios de comunicación e información, sumados al refuerzo de la intervención interpersonal y grupal, para construir nuevo pensamiento. Una mirada abierta al concepto de educación que permita diseñar un nuevo modelo de universidad para la nueva sociedad en América Latina y responder así al movimiento mundial que intenta ser una “segunda oportunidad en educación” para quienes, por distintas circunstancias, han sido excluidos de los “sistemas formales”. Con base en el seguimiento de un buen número de fuentes primarias y bibliográficas, este documento intenta ser un elemento en la comprensión de un problema que está abierto a la discusión académica de historiadores, educadores, juristas, políticos, historiadores de la educación, estudiosos de la cultura, hombre de iglesia y de todos los que quieran acercarse a la historia nacional, con miras a entender de forma prospectiva la educación colombiana y latinoamericana.

La acción educativa, cultural y popular que se emprende en Sutatenza Boyacá Colombia desde 1947, quizá sea una de las mayores experiencias de educación democrática realizada en la segunda mitad del siglo XX; en cuanto que involucra los sectores marginados del país; pone como actores a las campesinas y campesinos. Esta labor pedagógica, aún no se sistematiza completamente, pero en la medida que se teoriza sobre el hecho, se encuentran más elementos coincidentes con los presupuestos de los Movimientos Pedagógicos y la Educación Popular en Colombia.¿ Podemos pensar que se trata de una feliz coincidencia o seremos capaces de afirmar que del ejercicio educativo de Acción Cultural Popular (ACPO), se nutren estos movimientos?/ 

ABSTRACT:

The educational, cultural and popular action that has been undertaken in Sutatenza Boyacá Colombia since 1947, may be one of the greatest experiences of democratic education carried out in the second half of the 20th century; insofar as it involves the marginalized sectors of the country; it puts peasant women and men as actors. This pedagogical work has not yet been fully systematized, but as the fact is theorized, there are more elements that coincide with the budgets of the Pedagogical Movements and Popular Education in Colombia. Can we think that this is a happy coincidence or will we be able to affirm that these movements are nurtured by the educational exercise of Acción Cultural Popular (ACPO)?

Este artículo presenta una experiencia que se ha venido adelantando en Sutatenza, Boyacá, Colombia, desde 1947, la cual busca mejorar las condiciones de vida campesina; con miras a lograr el desarrollo integral del pueblo. Al contextualizar la mentalidad y dificultades que ha tenido que superar la mujer para lograr su reconocimiento y el acceso justo a la educación en Colombia; analiza la incidencia y trascendencia de Acción Cultural Popular (ACPO) en la educación de la mujer campesina. Si allegar a la educación de la mujer a los niveles de vanguardia es algo cercano a una odisea, podemos imaginar los inmensos bretes que significa para los campos llenos de ignorancia y aberraciones reconocer a la mujer como “persona digna, con posibilidades”. Este hecho encarna una verdadera evolución mental. A finales de la década del 40, la mujer campesina levanta la cabeza del pie del fogón para sentarse a pensar frente a un tablero de ajedrez, esta genialidad muy pronto se vio respaldada con resultados: las campesinas asumen un liderazgo inusitado en todas las instancias sociales que tuvieron la oportunidad de penetrar. Todo esto de la mano de la ACPO que aquí se relata desde los inicios del proyecto en 1947 hasta la década de los 70./ 

ABSTRACT:

The article gives a description of the work of ACPO in favor of rural women since 1947. Several difficulties were to be faced in order to rise women dignity by a proper education which required a change in social values as well as a new approach toward gender attitudes. Because of traditional constraints this task required extreme efforts in rural environments. By ACPO´s activities in the forties, “from cooking bending on the soil stove, women were raised to play chess upon tables face to face with clear sights”. By this clever process many of them were empowered to ascend into conditions of group leadership and social influence.

Este artículo expone un acercamiento a la prospectiva de la movilidad ocupacional de los pescadores artesanales del Ecuador ante el cambio de la matriz productiva del país, al mejoramiento de las condiciones de trabajo en sus puertos pequeros artesanales y al apoyo al sector pesquero artesanal, a través de un análisis cuantitativo de sus aspiraciones y expectativas ocupacionales. For an accurate estimation of health benefits and hazards of utilitarian cycling, a prospective collection of bicycle usage data (exposure) is fundamental. Individual and environmental correlates are necessary to guide health promotion and traffic safety issues. Firstly, this study aims to report on utilitarian bicycle usage in Belgium, using a prospective data collection in regular adult commuter cyclists. Secondly, the association is explored between the individual variation in bicycle usage and individual and environmental correlates. 1187 regular adult cyclists filled out travel diaries prospectively. Multivariate linear regression with Stepwise selection (SMLR) models studied the association between exposure and individual and environmental correlates. Higher age and availability of cycle paths have a positive association with bicycle usage to work. En este artículo el autor contempla como marco para la crisis venezolana actual, un contexto geopolítico complejo al cual denomina crisis de la globalización liberal, que hace parte del proceso de emergencia de la sociedad del conocimiento considerado como “cambio de época”, el cual proyecta hacia un futuro no muy distante, basado en dos ejercicios de prospectiva: los escenarios 2030 del Millennium Proyect de la ONU y el informe Tendencias globales 2030: mundos alternativos del Consejo de Inteligencia Nacional (CNI) de Estados Unidos.

In this article, the author considers as a framework for the current Venezuelan crisis, a complex geopolitical context which he calls the liberal- globalization crisis, which is part of the emergence process of the knowledge society considered as "change of time", the which projects towards a not too distant future, based on two foresight exercises: the 2030 scenarios of the UN Millennium Project, and the 2030 Global Trends: Alternative Worlds report of the National Intelligence Council (CNI) of the United States.

Based on corpus data, the article discusses three Spanish infinitive constructions with a prospective meaning: two constructions with the verb of location estar and one with the verb of movement ir: , and . Con el nombre de escuelas radiofónicas, se sintetiza el sistema educativo de Acción Cultural Popular (ACPO) instaurado por Monseñor Jose Joaquín Salcedo Guarín, gracias al uso sistemático y organizado de la radio y demás medios de comunicación, para motivar a los campesinos: a que se hagan responsables de su propio progreso y el desarrollo de la sociedad.

Providencial resulta la acción pues generó una nueva forma de ser y quehacer del campesino colombiano, elevando su autoestima. ABSTRACT:

With the name of radio schools, the educational system of Popular Cultural Action (ACPO) established by Monsignor José Joaquín Salcedo Guarín is synthesized, thanks to the systematic and organized use of radio and other means of communication, to motivate the peasants: to take responsibility for their own progress and the development of society.

Providential is the action because it generated a new way of being and doing of the Colombian peasant, raising their self-esteem. Contributions that are being applied today and are known as: Comprehensive fundamental education, Open Education, Distance Education, Educational technology and Unschooling.

La Educación Abierta y a Distancia, por su gran capacidad de innovación y gracias a sus apropiaciones: Las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) y la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU), es en el inmediato futuro la respuesta a los grandes desafíos que la ‘sociedad del conocimiento’ impone a la humanidad. Así lo muestran los derroteros que autoridades y expertos están trazando a la educación superior y los profundos aportes que desde una experiencia empezada en Colombia está reconociendo el mundo académico./

ABSTRACT

The Open and Distance University, for its great innovation capacity and thanks to its appropriations: The new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the university Social Responsibility (USR) is nowadays and in the immediate future, is the answer to the great challenges that the 'knowledge society' imposes on humanity.  Like that is how we can see and how is drawing the higher education by authorities and experts and the profound contribution that come from an experience begun in Colombia is recognizing the academic world.

Prospective, catastrophe et collapsologie Par Jacques THEYS Ancien enseignant à l'EHESS, vice-président de la Société française de prospective L 'effet de sidération lié à la prise de conscience bru-tale de l'extrême gravité du changement climatique et du déclin rapide de la biodiversité a donné un écho considérable à l'hypothèse d'un effondrement pro-chain des systèmes socio-écologiques dans lesquels nous vivons, et aux thèses développées à ce sujet par les « collapsologues ». Six Français sur dix se disent ainsi aujourd'hui convaincus qu'« un effondrement de la civilisation est possible », en raison d'abord de l'effet de serre, mais aussi de la démographie, de l'accroissement des inégalités ou du nucléaire (1). Depuis deux ans, il n'est pas un seul média qui n'ait consacré à cette hypothèse au moins un article ou une émission-sans oublier les séries télévisées-, ce qui permet de dire que c'est désormais un véritable phénomène de société s'étendant bien au-delà du cercle des experts et des écologistes. C'est essentiellement en France que les débats se sont ouverts sur ce sujet, mais la question est abordée dans beaucoup d'autres pays-et dans une perspective qui va au-delà des préoccupations pour le climat ou l'envi-ronnement. C'est ainsi qu'en septembre dernier, l'OCDE a organisé une importante conférence ayant pour thème "Averting sytemic collapse", avec pour objet d'évaluer l'éventualité de nouvelles crises financières, écologiques, géopolitiques ou sociales et de discuter de l'hypothèse d'un effondrement lié à leur conjonction ou à des effets en chaîne (cascading effects (2)). Cette préoccupation est également de plus en plus présente dans la plupart des instances internationales qui travaillent sur les risques à l'échelle globale avec des groupes de travail ou des études qui sont partout lancés sur les risques systémiques, les catastrophes en chaîne ou la résilience aux chocs extrêmes (3). L'objet de cet article n'est pas de discuter sur le fond des idées portées par les collapsologues, ni même de faire une critique approfondie des arguments qu'ils uti-lisent pour annoncer qu'un effondrement est prévisible à un horizon proche. Il est, de manière beaucoup plus modeste, de resituer la place de la prospective dans ce débat-comme une des formes parmi d'autres d'appréhension du futur, puisque c'est du futur dont il s'agit. Le paradoxe est en effet que cette prospective a joué-à travers le rapport du Club de Rome-un rôle important dans la structuration de ce que les collapsologues considèrent comme une « science de l'effondrement », alors qu'elle ne s'est jusqu'à présent pas avancée sur cette perspective, sur laquelle d'ailleurs elle n'a jamais été sollicitée. Entre les collapsologues, les spécialistes du risque ou des systèmes complexes, ceux de l'économie, de la géopolitique ou de l'environnement-mais aussi la philosophie morale La prise de conscience brutale de l'extrême gravité du changement climatique et du déclin de la biodiversité a donné un écho considérable à l'hypothèse d'un effondrement prochain des systèmes socio-écologiques et à la collapsologie. Celle-ci a des aspects multiples : à la fois choc émotionnel, vision idéologique du monde futur, nouvelle science et prévision sur l'avenir. Seules les deux dernières dimensions sont abordées dans cet article, car il s'agit essentiellement de resituer la place de la prospective dans le débat sur l'effondrement, et de voir en quoi celle-ci se différencie de la collapsologie à la fois sur le plan épistémologique et de ses hypothèses sur le futur. Si l'interrogation sur les risques d'effondrements-au moins partiels-est légitime, ni les raccourcis qu'emprunte la collapsologie pour annoncer leur réalisation prochaine ni l'attitude de mise en retrait qu'elle préconise pour y faire face ne se justifient. Moins fataliste et catégorique, la prospective, art pratique orienté vers l'action, préfère se situer entre deux extrêmes qu'elle refuse : le déni de l'hypothèse catastrophiste et la certitude de sa venue.

This work is aimed at presenting and exemplifying a methodology for performing exercises of technologic
prospective. Such a methodology was developed in a practical application for conceptualizing the automation
technological platform of a Venezuelan public organization. The paper focuses on describing the
sequence of steps necessary for such an exercise. Additionally, the goal, activities and recommended tools
for each step are specified. Aspects of the application on industrial automation are shown
