Emerging trends such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Business Disruption Technologies will change the way businesses do things. Specialized skills and learning is needed for our managers to handle such changes. There is an ever-increasing expectations gap between career-oriented students and work-oriented employers. This forces business schools to offer employer specific customized courses and allowing workspace to be future classrooms. In the globalization context, mangers will have to balance between ‘local’ and ‘global’ views. Soft skills need to be complemented with social media and social networking skills. This paper uses descriptive content analysis method to identify some emerging trends that will influence our management education so that these institutions can make appropriate changes to make their students future ready.

Teaching, essentially, is also a moral undertaking although information transmission dominates the teacher's work. Teachers are concerned in an important way with the total development of human beings – physical, intellectual, social, moral and spiritual. While the dimensions of teaching other than the informational and cognitive may have suffered neglect in modern times due to a variety of factors, one cannot deny that they constitute an integral part of the teacher's role and functions. The implication of this for teacher education programmes and institutions is that due emphasis should be given to developing in the teacher proper attitudes, values, and outlook apart from training one as a skilled crafts person. This aspect of the making of a teacher is acknowledged as a very important quality dimension of teacher education. The purpose of this study is to find out the relation among Intelligence, Social intelligence and General Teaching Competency of teacher trainees. The sample of the study comprises 30 teacher trainees. The study also revealed that there were relation between teachers' Intelligence, General teaching competency and their social intelligence.

Ecoliteracy is to understand and internalise sustainable ecological relationship in the nature and to transfer
this sustainable lifestyle to daily life despite the fact that ecoliteracy does not have only one and unique
definition. However, it is difficult to measure ecoliteracy due to it being a complex concept. There are many
subsets of ecoliteracy. One of the the aim of this study is therefore to develop an ecoliteracy scale intended
for adults which is based on ecological intelligence, social intelligence, emotional intelligence, economy
and green consumer behaviour. The other aim of the study is to test an alternative model among these
subsets. According to this model economy, emotional and social intelligences are subsets of ecological
intelligence. Ecological intelligence has directly link to green consumer behaviours at the second stage of
the model. All the goodness of fit values are at an acceptable level according to the explanatory and
confirmatory factor analysis. The results are Cronbach alpha: 0.78; KMO: 0.830; X 2 /df: 4.09; RMSEA:
0.087; SRMR: 0.0783; GFI, AGFI, IFI, and CFI ≥ 0.80. There are 20 items within the scale.

‘Gifted and talented’ has become the official way of referring to high-achieving, able school pupils. The author questions the validity and appropriateness of this label and calls for a more sophisticated and inclusive framework.

There is now a unanimous consensus that learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is inseparable from learners’ social and metacognitive capacities. Based on this premise and the profound significance of inspecting the way these internal capacities interact in a systematic way, this study investigated the relationship between EFL learners' Critical Thinking (CT) and Social Intelligence (SI). 174 randomly selected EFL learners, between the ages of 19 and 26 (Mage = 22 years), participated in this study. These EFL learners, who were being instructed chiefly through English, completed two questionnaires pertinent to CT and SI. The Spearman rank order coefficient of correlation was employed to analyze the collected data. The obtained results indicated that the relationship between EFL learners' CT and SI is significant and positive. Furthermore, running a linear regression revealed that CT can predict 46.4 percent of EFL learners’ SI. This was followed by calculating the prediction equation, making it possible to compute/predict the SI score of an individual using their CT score. Regarding the limitations and drawing upon the findings, the article concludes with some pedagogical implications and some avenues for future research.

This study explored the relationship between social intelligence and English language proficiency by employing Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test (RMET) developed by Baron-Cohen et al. (2001) and cloze multiple choice item test (CMCIT) designed by Hale et al. (1988) as their representative measures, respectively. The administration of the two tests to 181 undergraduate university students of English Language and Literature and Theology and correlating the scores obtained on the two tests showed that social intelligence is significantly related to language proficiency. When the participants were, however, classified into low, middle and high proficiency groups on the basis of their z-scores on the CMCIT and the social intelligence of these three groups were compared with each other, the mean score of middle and high proficiency groups did not show any significant difference on the RMET and were thus collapsed into one, i.e., middle-high group. The correlational analysis of the scores obtained by low and middle-high proficiency groups on the RMET and CMCIT showed that there is only a significant relationship between the social intelligence and language proficiency of middle-high group. The results are discussed and suggestions are made for future research.

“Nunchi” is a Korean term that indicates an expert facility in social interactions and especially the ability to interpret and utilize indirect communication with ease and alacrity. In this paper, I introduce and discuss the concept of nunchi with a focus on two main senses in which it is used: as a skill and as a burden. Then, I discuss the relation of nunchi to well-being and flourishing, both in specifically Korean cultural contexts and in social contexts more generally. Finally, I argue that because of nunchi’s close relation to well-being and flourishing, that there is a strong case to be made for treating it as a virtue.

Little is known about how human resource practices contribute towards the competitiveness of people based-knowledge intensive organisations in developing countries. This paper examines the role of human resource practices in developing knowledge and learning capabilities for innovation in the Indian information technology services sector. The study draws from the experience of a sample of 11 of the largest information technology service providers (ITSPs) in India and is based on in-depth interviews. The main finding suggests that the talent management architecture of ITSPs that comprises human resource practices and the development of knowledge and learning capabilities is the main drivers of innovation. A conceptual framework showing the link between human resource practices, knowledge and learning capabilities and innovation of ITSPs is developed followed by the limitations of the study and avenues for future research.

This paper explores the relationship between the creative process and social intelligence. Creativity has established value in modern, knowledge-based economies but is complex, multi-faceted and often group-led. Social intelligence is one method for navigating this complexity using intuition, communication, collaboration and empathy. A ‘creative vortex’ model (originally derived from PhD thesis research) has been proposed. This forms the basis of theoretical framework from which further empirical research on social intelligence and the creative process can be conducted.

Easy Home or Home automation plays a very important role in modern era because of its flexibility in using it at different places with high precision which will save money and time by decreasing human hard work. Prime focus of this technology is to control the household equipment's like light, fan, door, AC etc. automatically. This research paper has detailed information on Home Automation and Security System using Arduino, GSM and how we can control home appliances using Android application. Whenever a person will enter into the house then the count of the number of persons entering in the house will be incremented, in Home Automation mode applicances will be turned on whereas in security light will be turned on along with the alarm. The count of the number of persons entering the house is also displayed on the LCD screen. In Home Automation mode when the room will become empty i.e. the count of persons reduces to zero then the applicances will be turned off making the system power efficient. Moreover a person can control his home appliances by using an android application present in his mobile phone which will reduce the human hard work. At the same time if anyone enters while security mode is on a SMS will be sent to house owner's mobile phone which will indicate the presence of a person inside the house.The alarm can be turned of using SMS or Android application.

It is a well established business reality that organizations in the world over no longer achieve competitive advantage through their products, but rather through people (employees).However, Managers spend a minimal amount of time learning more about human behavior, communication and how their attitudes and behavior impact employee performance. Concerns about employee job satisfaction are just as critical in the education industry as they are in other business sectors. The major purpose was: to address the major factors of job satisfaction of academic employees in the Ethiopian universities; determine job satisfaction levels of employees in the selected organizations and recommend job satisfaction measures to be taken in to account. The study adopted the quantitative research design. This cross-sectional study was done using Job Satisfaction Survey Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) questionnaire distributed to the academic employees. 130 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling method. The conclusion of this research showed different factor of job satisfactions were correlated with the independent dependent variable, job satisfaction. Of which highest dissatisfaction levels occur in the area of salary and fringe benefit. In this study, demographic variables such as employees’ age, gender, service years, marital status and organizational position were seen as having significant effects on their job satisfaction. Generally, the total job satisfaction of the respondents was 3.77 point (moderate satisfaction) from six credits.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of using some Google Apps for Education in Teaching "Educational Technology Course" on achievement, social intelligence and attitude towards it among the students at Taibah University. The study employed the quasi-experimental design with two groups: experimental and control group. The population of the study consisted of all female students in Faculty of Education at Taibah University during the academic year 1433- 1434 H, whereas the sample of the study consisted of (55) students divided into two groups: the control group (n=25), which was taught using the traditional face-to-face  method, and the experimental group (n=30), which was taught using Google Apps for Education through blended learning. The researcher constructed the following tools and materials: Website, achievement test, social intelligence scale and attitudes scale. The researcher used a number of statistical approaches including: arithmetic mean, standard deviation, alpha Cronbach coefficient, analysis of covariance ANCOVA, independent samples t-test, paired samples t-test  and ETA squared (η2) to calculate the effect size. The most important results of the study were:
1. There were statistically significant differences at (0.05 ≥ α) level between the mean scores of the experimental group, and the control group in achievement at these levels (analysis, synthesis, evaluation and the achievement test as a whole), in favor of the experimental group.
2. There were no statistically significant differences at (0. 05 ≥ α) level between the mean scores of the experimental group, and the control group in social intelligence at these levels (‎social adjustment, social competence, social interaction, acting in social situations and the scale as a whole).
3. There were statistically significant differences at (0.05 ≥ α) level between the mean scores of the pre and post applications of attitude of the experimental group at these levels (importance of using Google Apps for Education, properties of using Google Apps for Education, the role of the professor while using Google Apps for Education, the capability of achievement in "Education Technology Course" and the scale as a whole), in favor of the post application.
In the light of the results of the study, the most important recommendations were: using Collaborative learning through the integration of Google Apps for Education in teaching "Education Technology Course" for developing the academic achievement and the attitude towards it, providing computers and Internet and cloud computing service in Saudi universities to enable students benefiting from them and using them in creating a suitable learning environment for the integration of technology in the educational process.

This project analyses a wide range of current literature concerning the origins and evolution
of language. A major focus is on constraining the time in which language evolved, covering
recent and gradual origins hypotheses. Included are models that interpret the foundations
of language as a sudden emergent property, as well as models that propose an accretionary
accrual of a modern suite of linguistic abilities. A ‘gesture-first’ model is presented in line
with the gradual evolution of language, and tool-making is suggested as a reinforcement
framework for language lateralization and even syntactical operations. Finally, the
supportive biological evidence (including the Kebara 2 hyoid bone and FOXP2) is determined
to reinforce the gradual and gestural models rather than emergent models of language
evolution. What we are left with is a model that posits that language cannot have originated
later than 100kya, could have gained prominence between then and 400,000 years ago and
was already subject to a functional cultural-ecological development prior to this.

Through the application of Material Engagement Theory (MET) to enactivist analyses of social cognition, this paper seeks to examine the role of material culture in shaping the development of intersubjectivity and long-term scalar transformations in social interaction. The deep history of human sociality reveals a capacity for communities to self-organise at radically emergent scales across a variety of temporal and spatial ranges. This ability to generate and participate in heterogenous, multiscalar relationships and identities demonstrates the developmental plasticity of human intersubjectivity. Perhaps human sociality's most unique feature is this intersubjective plasticity, that is, the ability for diverse collectivities of individuals and groups to adopt and transition between numerous social identities and behaviours with profound rapidity and flexibility. However, the most influential models in the study of social cognition, the Social Intelligence Hypothesis and Theory of Mind, promote a view of intersubjectivity that is rooted in methodological individualism and primarily understood as a capacity for observation and prediction. This approach leads to significant issues when confronted with the diversity and plasticity of hominin social organisation, particularly in regards to the computational burdens and information processing bottlenecks such scalar changes imply for cognitivist models. This paper examines the metaphysical assumptions in computational models of the mind that result in representational apriorism and an epiphenomenal treatment of material culture that hinder our understanding of the evolution and development of social cognition. Specifically, this article critiques the logics of computation, information processing, representationalism, and content within Neo-Darwinian frameworks that obscure and distort the interrelationship of evolutionary, developmental, ecological and cultural processes. Through a synthesis of material engagement and enactivist approaches to social cognition, this article argues that it is possible to explain the emergent and multiscalar dynamics of hominin sociality in terms of ecologically distributed and developmentally plastic interactions between brains, bodies and material culture.

Academic stress and intelligence is now a trending research topic in educational psychology. Behavioral science has specially focused into the topic and has suggested for conducting more extensive researches to find out the possible strategies. Numerous researches from worldwide have found relevant causes of effecting intelligence due to academic stress. Academic stress in response to academic achievement followed by intelligence has considered as butter within a sandwich to taste the successful events in life. There are numerous factors that affect academic performance due to interventions of stress as instance, stress due to exams, fear of failure, social burdens, financial burdens, student-teacher relationships, environment within the institutions and home, excessive course works, pressures on to be employed due to present unemployment scenario of the country or the states, lack of individual’s self-concept and self-motivation, lack of peer supports or belongingness with teachers, pressurized to choose different subjects rather than individual choice, biological difficulties like physical disabilities, memory impairments or the instability of brain’s function, health issues before or within the examination or within the course. Due to the fact causes and effects are investigated and have tried to relate each issue in a logical manner.

In his new book ‘Sexual Intelligence’, Marty Klein states that the sexual intelligence is composed of, among others, the ability to create and maintain desire in a situation that is less than perfect or not comfortable for the partners.
The aim of this paper is to compare the sexual intelligence with other intelligence constructs, such as social intelligence and emotional intelligence.
On one hand, the sexual intelligence seems to be similar to social intelligence, but on the other hand, the sexual intelligence may be more useful than the social intelligence to predict social interactions of sexual nature.
The sexual intelligence might be connected with the emotional intelligence. It has been proven that emotional intelligence is connected with the quality of close relationships and that may also be the case for the sexual intelligence.
Sexual intelligence seems to be another psychological construct created to describe the human intelligence, but further research is needed to prove that it differs from social or emotional intelligence.

The paper is an attempt to study the social intelligence of the higher secondary school students in Nagaland. A self-developed questionnaire was used for data collection and t-test and ANOVA was used to analyze data. The findings are: there exist no significant difference in Patience, Tactfulness, Sense of Humour dimensions of social intelligence and overall Social Intelligence in relation to gender of the students; there exist significant difference in Cooperativeness, Confidence level and Sensitivity dimensions of social intelligence in relation to gender of students; the mean score of boys and girls in cooperativeness dimension is 29.56 and 30.39, thus girls are more cooperative than boys; the mean score of boys and girls in confidence level dimension is 22.19 and 20.80, thus boys are more confident than girls; the mean score of boys and girls in sensitivity dimension is 30.32 and 31.79, thus girls are more sensitive than boys; there exist no significant difference in social intelligence of students in relation to family income. Thus, family income has no role in social intelligence of the students; and there exist no significant difference in social intelligence of students in relation to number of siblings except confidence level, more the numbers of siblings higher the confidence.

The focus of this quasi-experimental pilot study is how to support the emergence of the full potential development of nonverbal social skills in children with Down syndrome (DS). It is an exploratory case study using an embedded-multiple case design. This study views working with the social skills of a 6-year-old girl with DS through the lens of the Kestenberg Movement Profile (KMP). Through this lens, the social intelligence, relational shaping, developmental movement, and nonverbal communica- tion of a child with DS were explored. In order to more accurately identify the child’s strengths and challenges a triangulation approach is used. Data were collected for the child with DS and her typically developing, fraternal, twin sister using the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales-II as a quantitative assessment tool, the KMP as a qualitative assessment tool, and from a naturalistic observation in their home environment in order to assess and compare their nonverbal social skills.

Abstrak Kecerdasan sosial adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh orang dalam menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain menggunakan kekuatan-kekuatan yang berasal dari otak dan tubuhnya supaya dapat mengelola dan memahami bagaimana cara berhubungan dengan orang lain dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lebih mudah. Meningkatkan kecerdasan sosial pada anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan mendongeng atau kegiatan bercerita kepada anak dengan harapan mampu menanamkan nilai budi pekerti, serta mendorong anak untuk terlibat dalam cerita yang disampaikan. Tujuan penulisan adalah untuk menjelaskan kepada pembaca mengenai pentingnya kegiatan bercerita untuk anak usia dini dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan sosialnya. Metode penulisan ini adalah kajian literatur. Disimpulkan bahwa mendongeng atau kegiatan bercerita dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan sosial anak karena dalam cerita yang memberikan nilai sosial dan pembelajaran bagi proses perkembangan anak, berkontribusi terhadap pengetahuan anak sehingga dapat merangsang dan mendorong anak untuk berfikir dan sadar untuk mengaplikasikannya dikehidupan nyata. Pendahuluan Pendidikan adalah pembelajaran melalui pengajaran, pelatihan dan penelitian mengenai pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang direncanakan untuk mengembangkan potensi pada masing-masing individu. Pendidikan pada manusia diberikan sejak dari masa dalam kandungan oleh kedua orang tuanya, kemudian pada masa kanak-kanak dan hingga masa tua. Pendidikan pada masa kanak-kanak merupakan masa-masa emas yang akan menjadi awal seseorang dalam mengenal hal-hal disekitarnya. Anak usia dibawah enam tahun yang dikenal juga dengan sebutan anak usia dini, diberikan pendidikan berupa pengetahuan-pengetahuan yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik dan kognitifnya, pengetahuan sosial dan emosi, bahasa, agama dan moral. Salah satu pengetahuan yang perlu ditanamkan kepada anak sejak dini adalah pengetahuan sosial. Kehidupan manusia yang selalu bergantung dan berhubungan dengan orang lain menjadi alasan utama untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan sosial sejak dini. Pengetahuan sosial yang diberikan sejak usia dini diperlukan stimulasi-stimulasi agar anak mampu memahami dan mengenal langsung lingkungan sekitarnya. Misalkan orang tua mengajak anak untuk memberi sedekah kepada fakir miskin, berkunjung ke rumah sanak saudara, dan sebagainya. Jika anak memiliki keterampilan sosial yang baik, mereka bisa lebih mudah menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain, baik dengan keluarga, teman sebaya, dengan orang-orang di lingkungan tempat mereka tinggal ataupun dengan orang yang baru dikenal. Powerful collaborative relationships between horses and humans have existed for thousands of years. Much of man’s success on the planet can be directly attributed to this inter-species relationship – a relationship based on an unspoken kinesthetic intelligence. Much attention is spent looking at the role of emotional intelligence (EQ) in developing effective leaders. Yet, kinesthetic intelligence (PQ) is the overlooked and under leveraged learning construct when developing effective leadership capacities. This interactive and experiential workshop explores this gap in contemporary leadership theory and development and shows how the horse just might be our guide once again to new leadership horizons.

Social intelligence is one of intelligence needed to be developed since people still in childhood to remain owned by people into adulthood. Socially intelligent can easily people in relationship with other one wherever they were, especially if they were members of an organization and more interaction others. This study purposed to describe mathematically about the level of someone's social intelligence. Respondents in this study were member of Muhammadiyah Students Association of Malang, Indonesia, sex of female and male, aged between 18 to 30 years. Design of study was descriptive quantitative methods, was used quota sampling technique.
