Waterfall

In order to improve the performance of human resources (in this case is a lecturer) at the Faculty of Computer Science University of Mercu has conducted a lecturer's performance evaluation at the end of each semesterBuana periodically. The evaluation is aimed at improving the ongoing teaching and learning process. Based on the evaluation results, we will get an overview of the lecturer's work value for each semester. Ongoing lecturer evaluation activities have several problems such as lecturer evaluation process is still done manually.To solve these problems, it needs a change within the system that is from the manual lecturer evaluation system into web-based lecturer evaluation information system.Thus, all processes in lecturer evaluation activities can be done by online, either in the input process of questionnaires or in presenting a report.Lecturer evaluation activities which conducted by online can assist in making decision to get the best lecturer's recommendation by using ELECTRE method.System development method which use are use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram and then is use PHP and MySQL as a programming language.

Abstract
Waterfalls emerge when water falls from a knickpoint occurring in the stream bed for whatever reason. These
landforms, which are natural formations, are attention-grabbing for tourists besides their hydro-geomorphological
importance. This study aims to introduce the noteworthy waterfalls of Turkey introduced to the related literature
and to reveal their importance. This study is significant because it is a pioneering research for highlighting the
importance of Turkey’s waterfalls for tourism, and it may contribute to advertising and planning activities. In
addition, obtained findings and results may contribute to theoretical studies and hypotheses on this subject and
provide a source for scientists who are to study in this field. This study, which is a literature review, provides a
detailed examination of geographical studies on Turkey’s waterfalls and analyzes the obtained data historically and
critically from a collective point of view. Finally, the obtained data are evaluated through SWOT analysis, and
various suggestions are put forward from a new perspective. It is concluded that the natural environment features
of Turkey have a potential allowing the emergence of many waterfalls; the number of studies on these waterfalls is
inadequate; and there are three main touristic problems in Turkey’s waterfalls: lack of planning, lack of advertising,
and lack of research. Accordingly, sustainable planning and advertising activities should be carried out on
registered waterfalls in the first place. More detailed research should be carried out in coordination with these
activities. Moreover, there is a need to explore new natural formations of this sort that have not been introduced to
the literature yet though they have a tourism potential.

Özet
Akarsu yatağında herhangi bir nedenle oluşmuş eğim kırığından suyun düşmesiyle meydana gelen
yerşekillerine şelale denir. Bu yerşekilleri hidro-jeomorfolojik anlamdaki öneminin dışında turizm
bakımından da ilgi çekici doğal oluşumlardır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin literatüre kazandırılmış dikkate
değer şelalelerinin tanıtılması ve turizm bakımından öneminin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Türkiye
Coğrafya literatüründe çok farklı şekillerde adlandırılan ilgili yerşekli bu çalışmada WWD veri tabanındaki
karşılığı olan “waterfall” terimi esas alınarak sadece “şelale” şeklinde isimlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma,
öncelikle Türkiye şelalelerinin turizm açısından öneminin vurgulanması kapsamında yapılan öncü bir
araştırma olmasının yanında tanıtım ve planlama faaliyetleri bakımından da önemlidir. Ayrıca elde edilen
bulgular ve sonuçlar, konu hakkında kuramsal çalışmalara ve hipotezlerin geliştirilmesine yardımcı
olabileceği gibi bu konuda çalışacak bilim insanlarına da bir kaynak teşkil edebilecektir. Yöntem bilimsel
açıdan bir literatür değerlendirme araştırması olan bu çalışmada, Türkiye şaleleri kapsamında yapılmış
coğrafi araştırmalar detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş ve elde edilen veriler toplu bir bakış açısıyla tarihsel ve
eleştirel bağlamda analiz edilmiştir. Son aşamada elde edilen veriler SWOT analiziyle değerlendirilmiş ve
yeni bir bakış açısı geliştirilerek çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda Türkiye’nin doğal ortam
özelliklerinin çok sayıda şelalenin oluşmasına imkân sağlayan bir potansiyele sahip olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
Ancak bu şelaleler konusunda yapılan araştırmaların yetersiz olduğu belirlenmiştir. Türkiye şelalelerinde
turizm bakımından planlama, tanıtım ve araştırma yetersizliği olmak üzere üç temel sorun tespit edilmiştir.
Bu bağlamda konu hakkında öncelikli olarak kayıtlara geçmiş şelaleler üzerinde sürdürülebilir çerçevede
planlama ve tanıtım faaliyetleri gerçekleştirilmelidir. Bu faaliyetlerle koordineli bir şekilde daha detaylı
araştırma çalışmaları da yapılmalıdır. Ayrıca turizm potansiyeli taşımasına rağmen literatüre
kazandırılmamış bu tür yeni doğal oluşumların da araştırılması gerekmektedir.

Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan sistem perangkat lunak dengan proses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan model waterfall. Penelitian ini mengkomputerisasikan pencatatan pemesanan Paket Pernikahan di Nirwana Organizer dengan membangun sistem informasi pengolahan data konsumen, data karyawan, dan data paket, data pemesanan, data pembayaran dengan tujuan memberikan pelayanan optimal kepada klien. Wedding Organizer is a service that helps brides and families in the implementation of the wedding ceremony in accordance with a predetermined schedule. Wedding organizer business can be an opportunity to continue to be developed over time. Problems exist in Nirvana Organizer is the difficulty in data processing package booking and payment data from the client. System development method used in this research is the development of software systems with process SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with the waterfall model. This study computerize recording booking at Nirwana Wedding Package Organizer to build information systems processing customer data, employee data, and packet data, ordering data, payment data in order to provide optimal service to its clients. 1. Pendahuluan Pernikahan adalah bentuk hubungan antar manusia yang paling sakral dan utama. Indonesia dengan berbagai latar belakang adat dan budaya tentu mempunyai kebiasaan yang berbeda-beda dalam melaksanakan dan merayakan pesta pernikahan. Sehingga setiap pasangan niscaya akan melakukan persiapan yang total untuk menghadapi pernikahan. Hal ini tentu saja dapat menjadi peluang bisnis yang terus dapat dikembangkan sepanjang waktu. Kemasan perayaan pernikahan akan dibuat sebaik mungkin. Özet
Bu çalışmada, Hatay ili Defne ilçesinde yer alan Harbiye şelalesinin doğal ortam özelliklerinin ve turizm potansiyelinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç kapsamında, “Harbiye şelalesinin doğal ortam özellikleri nasıldır? Bu özellikler şalenin oluşumunda ne tür bir etkiye sahiptir? Bu sahanın turizm bakımından potansiyeli nasıldır? Burada turizm açısından hangi sorunlar vardır? İlgili problemlerin çözümü için yapılması gerekenler nelerdir?” şeklindeki araştırma soruları cevaplandırılmıştır. Bu çalışma, isim olarak bilinmesine rağmen hala çalışılarak Türkiye şelaleler literatürüne kazandırılmamış Harbiye şelalesinin coğrafi açıdan değerlendirilmesi bakımından önemlidir. Çeşitli materyallerin kullanıldığı çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden gezi-gözlem ve mülakat metotlarına dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Çalışmadaki şekillerin çiziminde CBS (Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri) tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Diğer yandan şelalenin olduğu sahaya farklı tarihlerde sistematik bir şekilde arazi çalışmaları gerçekleştirilerek yersel veriler toplanmıştır. Hem büro hem de saha çalışmalarından elde edilen bulguların turizme etkisi ise SWOT analiziyle değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, Harbiye şelalesinin farklı doğal ortam özelliklerine sahip olduğu ve üç basamaklı takım şelaleler şeklinde geliştiği tespit edilmiştir. Sahanın turizm bakımından önemli bir potansiyeli barındırdığı anlaşılmıştır. Ancak bu potansiyelin son yıllarda çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı çok ciddi bir tehdit altında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sahadaki problemlerin çözümü için acil olarak koruma ve kullanma dengesinin gözetildiği bir planlamaya ihtiyaç vardır.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the natural environment features and tourism potential of the Harbiye Waterfalls located in Defne District of Hatay Province. To this, an attempt is made to answer the following questions: What are the natural environment features of the Harbiye Waterfalls? What sort of an effect do these features have on the formation of the waterfalls? What is the tourism potential of this area? What kinds of tourism problems are there? What steps should be taken to solve these problems? This study is significant because it makes a geographical evaluation of the Harbiye Waterfalls which are not included in Turkey’s waterfalls literature because they have not been studied yet though they are known by name. Various materials were used, and field-trip and interview, which are among qualitative research methods, were employed in the study. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) techniques were used for drawing figures. Ground data were collected by conducting systematic field surveys in the area where the waterfalls are located at different dates. Findings concerning the effect of the waterfalls on tourism that were collected via desk study and field survey were subjected to SWOT analysis. It was found out that the Harbiye Waterfalls have different natural environment features from their surroundings and have developed in the form of three-tier set of waterfalls; the area incorporates an important tourism potential; however, such potential has been under serious threat because of various reasons in recent years. An urgent planning that ensures the balance between conservation and use is needed to solve the problems in the area.
