TPM

In this chapter I try to explore many problematic aspects linked to organ transplantations and the end of life. This is a good opportunity to verify what law, scientists, and philosophers think about the Determination of Death (especially about Brain Death) and the are the most important problems connected to consent for organ donation; finally, Catholic point of view on organ donation will be analyzed too.

Most of the points dealt with in this study relate to the workshop "dérouralge-fond". In view of the limited period of the internship, it was decided to restrict the work area to this workshop which, together with the workshop "Montage", constitutes a fertile zone for all the ideas and improvements proposed by the chosen method, namely TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). I was also able to benefit from previous work in this field in these two workshops.

The purport of this paper is to review the literature on
impact of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The paper
explicates the tangible and the intangible benefits achieved
as a result of TPM implementation. In the end some
concluding observations and directions for future research
are stated. The review was done by studying the Total
Productive Maintenance papers and identifying the tangible
and intangible benefits of Total Productive Maintenance.
This literature highlights the Total Productive Maintenance
involvement in improving the Overall Equipment
Effectiveness as well as employee's morale.

Todo proceso de mejora continua debe promover que las condiciones de trabajo se presenten de manera que los retrasos, las pérdidas de operatividad o cualquier fallo se reduzcan paulatinamente, de modo que el aprovechamiento de los recursos esté lo más cercano a lo óptimo posible. Es por ello que se ha trazado como objetivo primordial en este estudio establecer una propuesta de implementación de lean manufacturing por medio del uso de herramientas de producción esbelta y de confiabilidad de procesos, de modo que se promueva la búsqueda del beneficio mutuo en el aprovechamiento de oportunidades de  mejora y optimización de recursos y procesos. Para tal hecho, se hicieron mediciones del sistema actual versus el propuesto o mejorado de manera que se facilitara la operación, el manejo de las rutinas de trabajo, el ambiente físico de las instalaciones y se elevara la motivación de todos en la empresa. Este tipo de investigación se presenta de manera descriptiva diseñado con base a las herramientas lean manufacturing como las cinco eses (5 s) y herramientas de mantenimiento en confiabilidad a través de sus conceptos y del uso del software Weibull ++6.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to select the best maintenance policy for different types of equipment
of a manufacturer integrating the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and the technique for order of
preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) models.
Design/methodology/approach – The decision hierarchy of this research includes three levels.
The first level aims to choose the best maintenance policy for different types of equipment of an acid
manufacturer. These equipment pieces include molten sulfur ponds, boiler, absorption tower, cooling
towers, converter, heat exchanger and sulfur fuel furnace. The second level includes decision criteria of
added-value, risk level and the cost. Lastly, the third level comprises time-based maintenance (TBM),
corrective maintenance (CM), shutdown maintenance and condition-based maintenance (CBM) as four
maintenance policies.
Findings – The best maintenance policy for different types of equipment of a manufacturer is the main
finding of this research. Based on the obtained results, CBM policy is suggested for absorption tower, boiler,
cooling tower and molten sulfur ponds, TBM policy is suggested for converters and heat exchanger and CM
policy is suggested for a sulfur fuel furnace.
Originality/value – This research develops a novel model by integrating FAHP and an interval TOPSIS
with concurrent consideration of added-value, risk level and cost to select the best maintenance policy.
According to the highlights of the previous studies conducted on maintenance policy selection and related
tools and techniques, an operative integrated approach to combine risk, added-value and cost with integrated
fuzzy models is not developed yet. The majority of the previous studies have considered classic fuzzy
approaches such as FAHP,

La implantación del TPM en una empresa El Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) desarrolló un método en siete pasos cuyo objetivo es lograr el cambio de actitud indispensable para el éxito del programa. Los pasos para desarrollar es cambio de actitud son los siguientes: • Fase 1. Aseo inicial En esta fase se busca limpiar la máquina de polvo y suciedad, a fin de dejar todas sus partes perfectamente visibles. Se implementa además un programa de lubricación, se ajustan sus componentes y se realiza una puesta a punto del equipo (se reparan todos los defectos conocidos) • Fase 2. Medidas para descubrir las causas de la suciedad, el polvo y las fallas Una vez limpia la máquina es indispensable que no vuelva a ensuciarse y a caer en el mismo estado. Se deben evitar las causas de la suciedad, el polvo y el funcionamiento irregular (fugas de aceite, por ejemplo), se mejora el acceso a los lugares difíciles de limpiar y de lubricar y se busca reducir el tiempo que se necesita para estas dos funciones básicas (limpiar y lubricar). • Fase 3. Preparación de procedimientos de limpieza y lubricación En esta fase aparecen de nuevo las dos funciones de mantenimiento primario o de primer nivel asignadas al personal de producción: Se preparan en esta fase procedimientos estándar con el objeto que las actividades de limpieza, lubricación y ajustes menores de los componentes se puedan realizar en tiempos cortos. • Fase 4. Inspecciones generales Conseguido que el personal se responsabilice de la limpieza, la lubricación y los ajustes menores, se entrena al personal de producción para que pueda inspeccionar y chequear el equipo en busca de fallos menores y fallos en fase de gestación, y por supuesto, solucionarlos. • Fase 5. Inspecciones autónomas En esta quinta fase se preparan las gamas de mantenimiento autónomo, o mantenimiento operativo. Se preparan listas de chequeo (check list) de las máquinas realizadas por los propios operarios, y se ponen en práctica. Es en esta fase donde se produce la verdadera implantación del mantenimiento preventivo periódico realizado por el personal que opera la máquina. • Fase 6. Orden y Armonía en la distribución La estandarización y la procedimentación de actividades es una de las esencias de la Gestión de la Calidad Total (Total Qualilty Management, TQM), que es la filosofía que inspira tanto el TPM como el JIT. Se busca crear procedimientos y estándares para la limpieza, la inspección, la lubricación, el mantenimiento de registros en los que se reflejarán todas las actividades de mantenimiento y producción, la gestión de la herramienta y del repuesto, etc. • Fase 7. Optimización y autonomía en la actividad La última fase tiene como objetivo desarrollar una cultura hacia la mejora continua en toda la empresa: se registra sistemáticamente el tiempo entre fallos, se analizan éstos y se proponen soluciones. Y todo ello, promovido y liderado por el propio equipo de producción.

Abstrak Kinerja peralatan sebuah PKS dapat diukur dengan menggunakan OEE. Pengukuran OEE pada screw press dapat dilakukan melalui jam operasional alat dan oil losses yang dihasilkan. Hasil pengukuran tersebut akan menunjukkan bagaimana efektivitas perawatan yang dilakukan pada alat tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi kinerja alat screw press melalui pengukuran OEE serta mengetahui indikasi apa yang ditunjukkan oleh kondisi kinerja tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah PKS yang berlokasi di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Data yang digunakan adalah data yang berasal dari dokumen perusahaan selama satu tahun. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat screw press yang digunakan di PKS mempunyai kondisi kinerja yang rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai OEE yang diukur masih berada di bawah nilai standar world class company. Nilai OEE yang rendah tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa sistem perawatan yang diterapkan pada alat screw press selama ini kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap penyebab masalah tersebut agar bisa dilakukan perbaikan yang tepat sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Kata Kunci: Perawatan, OEE, Screw press, Pabrik kelapa sawit. Abstract Equipment performance of a POM can be measured using OEE. Measurement of OEE on screw press can be done through the operating hours of the equipment and the resulting oil losses. The result of the measurement will show how effectivity the treatment carried out on the equipment. The purpose of this research was to determine the condition of performance of screw press through OEE measurement and to know what indications are shown by the performance condition. This research was conducted at a POM located in South Kalimantan Province. The data used is data derived from company document for one year. Based on the result of the discussion it can be concluded that screw press tool used in POM has low performance condition. This can be seen from the measured OEE value which is still below the world class company standard. The low OEE value indicates that the maintenance system applied to the screw press has not been effective. Therefore it is necessary to do an analysis of causes of the problem so that appropriate repair can be made according to their need.

This study examines the use of technology and digital rights management to serve museum, library and archive collections digitally. Watermarks are specifically studied as a type of technological protection measure (TPM) that can be used to make protected content available for fair use, such as research and study. Watermarks and other TPMs will be evaluated in the context of the New York Philharmonic Digital Archives, which serves some copyrighted materials digitally under fair use. Conductor scores and instrumental parts are included in these digital collections, raising questions about the application of TPMs and fair use. Effective and ineffective aspects of the New York Philharmonic model are compared to successful models relating to music via other digital platforms, including the music publisher Boosey & Hawkes and the IMSLP Petrucci Music Library. Three key technological recommendations are put forward to better balance the interests of copyright holders and researchers, who have a specific right to access content for education and study purposes under current U.S. copyright law.

Dissemination of knowledge and creativity inducing systems of reward and are often what defines the right to take part in cultural life. The intellectual property system, specifically copyright, often clashes and dances with this prerogative. Is public knowledge really free, or does it necessarily need a mutually exclusive relationship with reward? This paper looks into exhausted examples such as the use of technological protection measures (TPM), where right to take part in cultural life struggles to coexist with the current copyright system. Firstly, it tries to answer how the right to take part in cultural life is affected by intrusive TPM in digital media content and the related impending issues; Then, it establishes the boundaries for Member States to enact TPM legislation, when considering exceptions and limitations and the current EU aqcuis. Finally, it goes into the multiple interests at stake, and how far into them can the EU legislator intervene to promote both copyright claims and cultural rights.

This study aims to evaluate the awareness of implemented practices that already applied and the implementation of lean manufacturing practice of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on Small Medium Enterprise (SME) companies in Sabah. Regarding the implementation of TQM and TPM practices of lean manufacturing, this study evaluates the awareness implementation of lean manufacturing practices TQM and TPM among manufacturing company located in Sabah before analyzing the respondent survey data. As to know better the awareness of TQM and TPM practices, a study of the awareness of lean manufacturing implemented practices was conducted which to identify the practices that already been implement and the pillars practices that highly and lowest implemented to the SME's companies in term of TQM and TPM practices. The scope of this study has covered the manufacturing company of drinking manufacturing industry that is actively operating in Sabah, specifically on Small Medium Enterprise (SME) companies. The methodology used for the study was by survey questionnaire which contains open and closed ended questions, sent out to desired respondents. The outcomes of the analysed data were created using descriptive statistics by explaining the trends in dataset and Cronbach's Alpha to test the internal reliability of the item. This study finds significant evident of the implementation of lean manufacturing and its practices among SME's drinking manufacturing companies in Sabah, as well as the awareness implementation of lean manufacturing practices with a statistical value.

Cuando los procesos de fabricación son altamente automatizados la confiabilidad del equipo se vuelve una
preocupación por posible impacto en la calidad de los productos y en la productividad del proceso. Esta investigación
estudia el proceso de fabricación de componentes industriales mediante un proceso altamente automatizado  con un alto
índice  de  fallas.  Se  propone  una  metodología  para  la elaboración  de  un  programa  de  mejoramiento  basado  en  TPM
(Mantenimiento Productivo Total, por sus siglas en inglés), Confiabilidad y Eventos Kaizen, con la finalidad dedisminuir
el número de piezas defectuosas y el tiempo dedicado alas fallas del equipo y maquinaria. Se realiza unanálisis inicial
sobre las fallas en maquinaria y equipo para identificarla frecuencia de falla de sus componentes, así como delnúmero de
piezas defectuosas generadas por el proceso. Utilizando modelos de confiabilidad se calculan intervalos de tiempo en los cuales los componentes puedan fallar. Se elabora un  programa de mantenimiento preventivo para buscar minimizar las fallas  y  el  tiempo  dedicados  a  las  mismas.  Finalmente  se  realizan  actividades  de  mejoramiento  mediante  eventos  tipo Kaizen. Después de realizados los cambios en el proceso y ejecutar el nuevo programa de mantenimiento preventivo, se
realiza  otro  muestreo  para  comparar  estadísticamente  los  datos  antes  y  después  de  la  metodología  propuesta.  Los
resultados muestran evidencia de que el tiempo dedicado a las fallas de la maquinaria y equipo se reduce  en promedio
60%, mientras que el número de piezas defectuosas se reduce alrededor de 70%

Expedition truck is a vehicle that serves to transfer goods from one place to another. Previously maintenance policy was periodic, depending on the run distance and Run To Failure, maintain the trucks after the occurrence of component damage then system failure. Analysis in maintenance management based on system and critical components do optimize truck performance by using RCM (Reliability Centered Management) method. There are 5 systems in a truck: electrical system, power steering system, cooling machine system, coupling system, and brake system. Interaction and function of the components from each system are analyzed, evaluated the failure mode (FMEA method), and categorized the level of critical damage and adjusted the maintenance time (LTA method). The results of the RCM method for 16 component functions from the 5 systems are 5 component functions with Time Directed (TD), 6 Condition Directed (CD), 3 Failure Finding (FF), and 2 component functions by Run To Failure (RTF).ABSTRAK Truk Ekspedisi merupakan kendaraan yang berfungsi untuk memindahkan barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lain. The maintenance management is a topic of strategic importance for automotive manufacturers. In fact, an effective maintenance process and a preventive maintenance (PM) procedure can significantly reduce the risk of equipment failures that can lead to downtime on the production lines. However, due to the complexity of an automotive production system, the risk of failure on a crucial piece of the production equipment cannot be entirely avoided. The study made in this paper aims at improving the availability of a critical production line through the total productive maintenance (TPM) methodology and supported by Lean Maintenance tools. An analysis is made of the initial condition of the line where the main problems are identified by employing several tools for this purpose, such as Mean Time between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and Availability (A). In response to the identified problems, an action plan is developed and implemented in order to find the root cause of the high number of malfunctions and faults in one of the line’s equipment with the use of 5S tools, visual management, and maintenance progress, as well as the development of a training program to increase operators’ skills. The results of such actions were positive as the line became more organized, the value of the MTBF increased, the MTTR value decreased, and consequently the overall availability increased.

A trusted platform module (TPM) contains a unique identity and provides a range of security functions. This paper outlines a client-server system utilizing a TPM-enabled computer to hinder forensic examination. The system allows for data confidentiality, plausible deniability, and hiding of traces that incriminating data was present on the client. The server will attest the client before allowing it to submit / receive incriminating data, and encrypted incriminating data can only be decrypted 1) by the encrypting client, and 2) if and only if the encrypting client's platform configuration matches that during encryption. The client's state can always be established via measurement results, and they cannot be tampered to fake attestation.

La investigación aborda la problemática en el sistema de producción de la impresión digital —llamado también sector gráfico— en el Perú, la cual está relacionada directamente con la eficiencia y disponibilidad de los equipos. En este sentido, se analizó la demora en la producción de etiquetas, la cual trae consigo retrasos en la entrega de pedidos a los clientes. De acuerdo con el diagnóstico de este estudio, se ha determinado que el tiempo perdido por fallas en el equipo, ocasiona altos costos de reparación, mano de obra y horas perdidas. En los estudios realizados, se evidencia que la importancia de la reducción de las fallas en el equipo no solo permitirá una adecuada entrega a tiempo, sino también mejorará la calidad del producto, el rendimiento de producción y la satisfacción del personal, logrando una mayor rentabilidad. La propuesta de mejora aborda la implementación del Mantenimiento Productivo Total (TPM), iniciando con la aplicación de la 5S como fase introductoria para la reorganización de la empresa, la implementación del mantenimiento autónomo basado en la captación y entrenamiento del personal en las condiciones básicas de los equipos y, finalmente, la implementación del mantenimiento planificando, estructurando un análisis jerárquico de sistemas y un programa de mantenimiento preventivo. Como resultado de la propuesta, se simula el sistema para determinar la reducción del tiempo en el proceso, obteniendo un resultado del 92.02 %, es decir, el tiempo pasó de 6455 min. a 515 min.

This paper tried to review the most recent articles published in the field of TQM and highlight the latest themes being researched in the chosen area, and also make way for future researchers to identify the potential research areas requiring attention. Four latest research areas from TQM literature were identified, namely: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Green Performance (CGP), Entrepreneurial Leadership (EL), and knowledge sharing. Based on the identified areas, a causal loop was developed using System Dynamics methodology to establish a relationship between the variables and to see how they fit in the TQM philosophy. The final dependent variable was organisational performance, and an attempt was made to demonstrate how the variables identified from the latest literature fit in between the TQM practices and organisational performance.

Kaizen is a continuous improvement of process, often is considered to be the building block of all lean production methods. The ultimate objective of this paper is to increase efficiency and productivity in sewing floor of luggage manufacturing plant through system simplification, process standardization, reducing waste and incremental improvements by using modern techniques like Kaizen. By implementing kaizen, line efficiency has been improved up to 7% and Defect per Hundred units has also reduced. For industries, to remain competitive and retain market share in this global market, continuous improvement of manufacturing system processes has become necessary. Kaizen strives to empower the workers, increase worker satisfaction, facilitates a sense of accomplishment, thereby creating a pride of work. It not only ensures that  manufacturing  processes  become  leaner  and  fitter,  but  eliminate  waste where  value  is  added.

Abstract— Trusted Computing offer great opportunities to enhance security and privacy of the user. Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is the implementation of the trusted platform initiatives under the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). The TPM implemented as a chip that is similar to the smart card, but the difference is that the TPM chip mounted to the motherboard hardwired, thus making it tamper resistant from remote attack. To interface with the TPM chip, the TCG prescribe the Trusted Software Stack (TSS) as Application Program Interface (API) to communicate with the TPM. However, to interface an application with the TPM is still inflexible and it is hard to be implemented. For software developers, they require knowledge of the Trusted Computing to modify existing application including to do design, coding and testing the TPM based application. This paper explores a new method to allow existing application without TPM enable to use the TPM functionality. In addition, this paper also brings a case study about an implementation of the VPN software with Trusted Network Connect (TNC) protocol to perform secure and trusted remote attestation.

In the early twentieth century, the Taylor model improved, in a spectacular maner the efficiency of the production processes. This allowed obtaining high productivity by low-skilled workers, but used in large number in the execution of production. Currently this model is questioned by experts and was replaced by the concept of "continuous improvement". The first signs of change date from the '80s, with the apparition of quality circles and groups of operators on quality issues, principles which are also found in other continuous improvement strategies like: TQM (Total Quality Management), TPM (Total Production Maintenance), Kaizen and Six-Sigma. All these strategies are based on an active participation of the workers. Within this framework, many companies organize autonomous teams of workers responsible for organizing their work and improve economic performances.

Abstrak Efektivitas merupakan ukuran perbandingan jumlah produk yang diproduksi sepanjang waktu pada periode tertentu terhadap kapasitas teoritis, yang menunjukkan produktivitas dari mesin tersebut. Keberhasilan sistem perawatan dengan TPM ini dapat diukur dengan menggunakan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yang akan menunjukkan seberapa mampu suatu mesin untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dibandingkan dengan yang semestinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai OEE pada mesin produksi besi bondeck. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Januari-Maret 2018 di sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang berlokasi di Bekasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh produksi pada mesin tersebut, sedangkan sampelnya adalah produksi selama Bulan Januari-Maret 2018. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan penelusuran dokumen perusahaan. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan formula Nakajima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE pada mesin produksi besi bondeck adalah sebesar 53,29% pada Bulan Januari; 48,23% pada Bulan Pebruari; dan 58,88% pada Bulan Maret. Ini berarti bahwa perusahaan hanya mampu menghasilkan produk dari mesin tersebut kurang lebih separuh dari total produk yang semestinya. Abstract Effectiveness is a measure of the comparison of the quantity of product produced over a period of time to a theoretical capacity, which shows the productivity of the machine. The success of the maintenance system with this TPM can be measured using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which will show how capable a machine is to produce a quality product compared to the must. The purpose of this research was to determine the OEE value of bondeck production machine. This research was conducted in January-March 2018 in a manufacturing company located in Bekasi. The research population is the entire production on the machine, while the sample is production during January-March 2018. Data collection is done by means of observation, interview and company document tracking. Data processing is done with the Nakajima formula. The result of the research showed that the OEE value of the bondeck production machine was 53.29% in January; 48.23% in February; and 58.88% in March. This means that the company is only able to produce products from these machines, about half of the total product they are supposed to.

A trusted platform module (TPM) is an industry-standard module bound to a system; it provides secure, cryptoprocessor functions such as asymmetric key generation and storage, asymmetric encryption/decryption, cryptographic hashing operations, and much more. Although it may seem useful, this module, ubiquitous in many OEM systems, is often underutilized or not utilized at all. This article presents a way to use the TPM as a secure key-generating authority in a Shamir identity-based signature scheme implementation. The authors demonstrate that the TPM can be used for more than what it's usually documented for. If more such uses can be found, perhaps the TPM will no longer be underutilized.

Organizations have to simultaneously meet various stakeholders’ demands related to delivery times, supply chains (horizontal, vertical and cross integration), quality, production processes, equipment, safety, environmental concerns, workforce etc. They must be driven by both effective and efficient management approaches and strategies to do so. One approach to improving the performance is to develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). However, a number of organizations are failing to successfully implement such strategies.
This paper describes successful TPM implementation in a continuous process firm in India andits effects, particularly on the firm’s performance. We describe the TPM concept, analyze the Indian manufacturing scenario briefly and thereafter chronicle the success of the firm. The paper tests the applicability of theoretical concepts in the Indian context, derives some managerial implications and provides suggestions to firms who are or shall be in the process of implementing such initiatives.

In Indian manufacturing environment today total productive maintenance (TPM) is
popular philosophy; already has been adopted by many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) particularly in automobile sector. For vendors of these OEMs either it is recommended or made mandatory to adopt the TPM concepts. With all these activities going in industries major portion of the entire manufacturing sector has become familiar with the TPM concepts. Many of the activities carried in these industries are observed parallel and repetitive type. This includes small modifications in equipment done on the shop floor as part of TPM implementation. Strangely even in some newly purchased equipment also modifications are observed on the shop floor. It clearly indicates that at design stage only customer requirement for adaptation of equipment in TPM culture; has to be considered by equipment manufacturer. On the other side these requirements has to be identified before

Based on the identified areas, a causal loop was developed using System Dynamics methodology to establish a relationship between the variables and to see how they fit in the TQM philosophy. The final dependent variable was organisational performance, and an attempt was made to demonstrate how the variables identified from the latest literature fit in between the TQM practices and organisational performance.

On the past decade, Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) have become a valuable tool for providing a high level of trust on locally executing software. Indeed, in addition to its availability on most commodity computers , TPM are totally free of cost unlike other available Hardware-Based devices while they oer the same level of security. Enhancing trust in SaaS services regarding the security and the privacy of the hosted SaaS application services can turn out to be a pertinent application scope of TMP. In this paper we present a design for a trusted SaaS model that gives cloud users more condence into SaaS services by leveraging TPM functionalities combined with a trusted source code certifying authority facility. In our design , the cloud computing provider hosting the SaaS services acts as a root of trust by providing nal cloud users insurance on the integrity of the SaaS application service running on its platform. A new mechanism of multisi-gnature is developed for computing a join signature of SaaS service software by the trusted authority and TPM. A prototype implementation of the proposed design shows that the integrity of SaaS application service before and after it was launched on a cloud provider platform is guaranteed at low cost.

A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) contains a unique identity and provides a range of security functions. This paper demonstrates a novel approach of using a TPM-enabled computer in a client-server system to hinder forensic examination. The prime motivation for this is to highlight the implications of such TPM-based approach in digital forensics for law enforcement agents. The system allows for data confidentiality, plausible deniability, and hiding of traces that data containing incriminating information was present on the client. The server will attest the client before allowing it to submit or receive encrypted data, and encrypted data containing incriminating information can only be decrypted 1) by the encrypting client, and 2) if and only if the encrypting client's platform configuration matches that during encryption. The client's state can always be established via measurement results, and they cannot be tampered to fake attestation.

Kaizen is a continuous improvement of process, often is considered to be the building block of all lean production methods. The ultimate objective of this paper is to increase efficiency and productivity in sewing floor of luggage manufacturing plant through system simplification, process standardization, reducing waste and incremental improvements by using modern techniques like Kaizen. By implementing kaizen, line efficiency has been improved up to 7% and Defect per Hundred units has also reduced. For industries, to remain competitive and retain market share in this global market, continuous improvement of manufacturing system processes has become necessary. Kaizen strives to empower the workers, increase worker satisfaction, facilitates a sense of accomplishment, thereby creating a pride of work. It not only ensures that  manufacturing  processes  become  leaner  and  fitter,  but  eliminate  waste where  value  is  added.
