Instant Activity:
Hello Class! Today we will be playing
freeze tag. We will play in the
rectangular area that is on the blacktop.
One person will try to tag the other
students and once the person is tagged,
he or she will have to freeze until another
person untags them. If the student goes
outside of the lines of the rectangle, he or
she will automatically freeze.
Transition After the instant activity,
everyone will go back to the white line
where they started for the beginning of
class and I will explain to them what we
will be doing today.
Set Induction:
Today is our last day of basketball! We
will use all of the skills we learned over
the past couple weeks to play a couple
basketball relays. Students will be split
up into teams and compete with
basketball skills.
Purpose:
The skills we learned in basketball are
important so everyone knows how to play
basketball correctly.
Transition
Students will go back to the white line
and I will assign them to a colored poly
spot which will be each of their teams.
