Lesson Focus: passing the soccer ball back and forth


with a partner

# Of students: 20

Equipment and Facilities: the lesson will be taught on


the black top area. The equipment needed is 10
soccer balls and 20 poly spots

Safety Considerations: the students not kicking the


soccer ball in the direction of their partner and hitting
someone else. There are also basketball poles in this
area so a concern would be the students no paying
attention and running into the poles.
Lesson Specifics
Behavioral Contingencies: there will be a two strike
Previously Learned Skills: throwing and catching a
policy, the first strike is a warning and the second the football. They have also done some team building

Set Induction: today we are going to
work on passing a soccer ball back and
forth with a partner. The cots for kicking
a soccer ball is non kicking foot next to
the ball, contact ball in middle, use inside
of foot, follow through. Make sure to trap
the ball after your partner kicks it to you
so the ball does not go past you. Make
sure to aim the ball towards your partner
so you do not interfere with others.
