Safety Considerations:
When the students are doing the main activity they
could collide with a classmate because theyre not
looking where theyre going. If this happens I will
check if theyre okay. If theyre not then I will send
them to Brittainy or the school nurse.

Transition:
Water break if necessary.
Once the instant activity is over
I will tell the students to go get
water if they need to. Once they
are done they need to sit down
on the ground in front of me and
be ready for instructions.
Set Induction:
Today were going to be
developing our catching skills
while doing different movements
around the general area.
Purpose:
Catching is an important skill to
have because it is used in so
many sports.
Lesson Core - Task 1:
Students will be standing in
their own hula hoops with their
own ball. Students will be
throwing the ball up to
themselves and catching it and
when I blow the whistle they
have to do the action that I yell
out. When they do the action
they will be doing it outside of
their hula hoop. When I blow
the whistle they then need to
return to their hula hoop and
start throwing the ball to
themselves again. The actions

ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUES: I will assess the students by walking around and observing each student for a
short time, and seeing how many times they can throw the ball up and catch it while standing in their hula
hoop.
