Lesson Focus: the focus of this lesson is to practice


throwing the Frisbee backhand and forehand during
gameplay

# Of students: 20

Equipment and Facilities: the lesson will be taught on


the blacktop area and the equipment needed is two
frisbees

Safety Considerations: safety considerations would


be the students not paying attention to one another
and running into each other when they are trying to
go for the frisbee
Lesson Specifics
Behavioral Contingencies: there will be a two strike
Previously Learned Skills: throwing/ catching a
policy as the first one will be a warning and after the football. Trapping/ passing a soccer ball. BAdminton
second the student will be done will tiger pride for
hitting. Shooting/ dribbling a basketball. Serving/
the dya
bumping a volleyball. Forehand and backhand
throwing in frisbee

Teaching Strategy: this lesson will be more student


directed as they will work together to form teams and
engage in gameplay while the teacher is walking
around the area observing.

Objectives:

Academic Language: Forehand- throwing the Frisbee


with elbow tucked in and inside of arm out front
Backhand- throwing the Frisbee across your body.

Psychomotor (P): SWBAT throw the Frisbee backhand and forehand with 90 percent
accuracy during gameplay
Cognitive (C): SWBAT recite the cots for backhand and forehand with 100 percent accuracy
H-R Fitness (H): students will engage in moderate to vigorous physical activity for at least 50
percent of the lesson

back down on home base ling and wait
for further instruction

Set Induction:
Today we will be engaging in Frisbee
gameplay and there will be four teams/
two games. Can anyone remind us what
the two type of throws are? Good, now
the goal is to throw the Frisbee to your
teammates and get it down the field into
the end zone.
Purpose:
The purpose pf playing an actual game of
Frisbee is to allow the students to have
some exsposure to ultimate Frisbee so
they know how to play it incase they
want to play it outside of school
Transition
When I say so you will form teams, then
go stand on your designated team side
and wait for me to begin the game.
