At the end of this learning Episode, I must be able to:


1. Establish my classroom routines and procedures before, during and after classes in a face-to-face or in
remote learning.
2. Explain the classroom routines (what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and why those need to be
done.)
3. Reflect on the basic questions when building my classroom routines and procedures in the classroom
and in remote learning.
4. List down some possible topics for action research on classroom routines and procedures.
5. Use professional reflections and learning to improve practice.

1. Participating and Assisting my Resource Teacher in establishing routines and procedures in the face to
face or in remote learning.

Task 1: Participate and Assist


a. Answer the activity in page 60.
Having these guide questions in mind, consult your Resource Teacher on the possible  assistance or
participation that you can do to help her/him in doing the classroom routines.Complete the matrix for the
routines that you can employ before,during and after classes in the classroom /remote learning to ensure
order and discipline in your classes.List down the problems which you have encountered while
implementing these routines.
        ROUTINES I CAN EMPLOY BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER CLASSES IN THE
CLASSROOM
BEFORE- checking cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom 
             -arrives on the class on time 
            - opening prayer (ask student to lead the prayer)
            - checking class attendance
            - greet the students
DURING CLASS - start lesson
                           -recitation (voluntary)
                           -having quiz
AFTER CLASS - closing prayer
 reminding students to study their lessons
 reminding students do their assignments
 cleaning the classroom
 helping struggling students how to read
THE PROBLEMS I'VE ENCOUNTER  ARE:
 Some students are having difficulty in reading
 some students are still late
 other students don't participate
 some students lack of initiative to follow the routines
Task 2: Notice
a. Answer questions on page on page 61. 
 How did you feel after employing your classroom routines and establishing your procedures in
the classroom /remote learning?
 after employing my classroom routines and establish my procedure , I feel ease where I
assure this will be the start of having good classroom management because I know this
routines and procedure allow studts to quickly accomplish day-to-day tasks that are
required of both teacher and students.Sometimes there was also circumstances that I feel
discouraged when I saw some students does not internalize their part as a student.
 How did your students respond to your classroom routines and procedures?
 As I noticed they are agreeing to having these routines.I saw their excitement to follow it
in the class even though some are not following it.There are some students who showed
interest in a way of asking some questions for clarification about the routines.
 What was the feedback of your Resource Teacher on your classroom routines and procedures?
 The feedback from my RT on the classroom routines is to maintain these routines .She
also told us that having an icebreaker or energized in the class is much better.
 Was there a change in the classroom environment/teaching -learning process after you have
implemented your classroom routines and procedures?
 Yes, there has been a change in the classroom.The class ran smoothly , unnecessary
behavior was minimized.
Task 3: Analysis
a. Answer analysis questions at page 61.
1. What factors/conditions prompted you to establish those classroom routines and procedures?
 The factors that prompted me to establish those routines and procedures are the
unnecessary behavior that arises in the class. I also want to strengthen our bond and
relationship as we spend our internship here in school.
2. Was there a marked improvement in classroom management after employing your classroom
routines?
 yes,the improvement in the classroom management after employing are: we start the class
on the right time.I will deliver my lesson effectively because no more distractions I
encountered
3. Did the teaching - learning process improve?
 yes,having the routines and procedures in class help learners become more aware of what
they are going to do where it’s a big help to have a good start of the class
everyday,asking with good manners.

Task 4: Reflect
a. Answer reflection questions at page 61.
What insights have you gained while doing this learning episode.
 Doing this episode I realized that the teacher employ to us before is very important because it
help students feel more at ease with the daily activities.It can also reduce disruptive behavior and
maintain the flow of the class and good behavior.As an educator, I realized that when routines
and procedures are carefully taught and modeled,children know what's expected of them and how
to do certain things on their own.Having this predictable patterns in place allows teachers to
spend more time in meaningful instruction.
Task 5: Writing Action Research Prompts
a. Answer Observe, Reflect, Plan and Act at page 62.
OBSERVE 
1. The problems/challenges I encountered in establishing my classroom routines are some of the
students are afraid to participate on the recitation even their names are called by their teacher and
there are still students who cannot fread
REFLECT 
2. I hope to achieve to address these problems and challenges by
 selecting appropriate strategy and intervention to make sure that the students can read they
participate in the class.Theintervention/strategy like modeling , praises them about what they've
done. 
PLAN
3. Some strategies/ways which  can employ to improve classroom routines are
 as a teacher, we should be a model so to ensure that they know how to follow
 praise students can motivate them to be active in class
 giving reward can motivate them to perform better on the class

ACT
4. (Based on my answer in nos.1-3), the possible title of my action research on this episode .
 Enhancing students class participation classroom

Task 6: Answer Check for Mastery at page 63. Discuss your answers briefly.
1. C - if Ms. Asuncion finds difficulty in getting her class settled and ready for the daily lesson ,the
best advice for her is she should not let them in until they are ready
2. D -the use of a clear schedule because the students followed Ms Dionisio instructions to them.
3. A - ensure discipline and responsibility class because Mrs. Esplana let their students  do their
assigned task.
4. D - the reason why Ms.Returan implemented this so that her students can socialize outside the
classroom.This reason helps students to start to develop their sense of self and also start to learn
what others expect from them.
5. D - It is best to establish routines at the beginning of the class so  that it ensures order and
discipline at all times.
Task 7: Working on your Artifacts (page 64).

the routines that we found in our RT where it is also having in my routines.Those routines  we both
observe before, during and after the class where it is good to have because as what I observed to the class
our RT delivers her lesson on time and very well.I saw the order that has in the class from the start until it
finishes.
