Reynold's Method

This document outlines Reynolds' method for calculating equivalent uniform loads from line loads on slabs. It provides an example calculation for a simply supported slab with dimensions Lx=3.5m and Ly=4.3m that is subjected to non-uniform partition wall loads. The loads are converted to modified line loads and then equivalent uniform loads are calculated based on the slab dimensions and support condition coefficients. The maximum equivalent uniform load is determined to be 2.47 kN/m^2.
