1. Scope
This specification provides the specifications for the Cable with CHAdeMO Quick Charge
Connector for EV Applications.

Note (4) Solenoid shall be started at the rated voltage, and used the holding voltage to suppress heat
generation in continuous operation.

Consists of high-incombustibility , -insulation and –weather resistance resin materials,
PBT+PC (UL94-V-0).
-2) Latch
Strength member for locking device with a vehicle inlet, which is made of stainless steel, JIS
G 5121 SCS13 .
-5) Power line terminal
Consists of high-conductivity tough-pitch copper, JIS H 3250 C1100,of which electric
contact is silver plated, in order to connect electrically with vehicle inlet.
-6) Signal line terminal
Consists of brass, JIS H3250 C3604, of which electric contact is silver related, in order to
connect electrically with vehicle inlet.
-7) Solenoid
Push-type with resin molded coil.
-8) Micro Switch
Resin-mold type, which have IP67 degree of protection.
-9) LED lamp
Red color and fair visibility.
Cover; Consists of high-incombustibility , -insulation and –weather resistance resin
materials, PC (UL94-V-2).

10-2) Tolerance of thickness


10-2-1 Insulation:
- The average thickness shall be not less than the nominal thickness.
- The minimum thickness at any point shall not fall below 90% of the nominal value
by more than 0.1mm.

10-2-2 Over sheath:


- The minimum thickness at any point shall not fall below 85% of the nominal value
by more than 0.1mm.

6. Shipping inspection
Inspection report: Shipping inspection results shall be indicated in inspection report.

7. Packing
Packing style: The product is to be packed into a corrugated carton in order to avoid damage
during transport.
Packing unit: 1 product

Each package should be marked in a clear and visible way with the following information.

Appendix I: Reference Standards and Testing


The Cable with CHAdeMO Quick Charge Connector for EV Applications complies with
“ Performance confirmation document for CHAdeMO charge connector Ver.1.2 ” of
CHAdeMO Association.
Test items and performances are shown in Table B.

Appendix II : Test methods
Test conditions
- Ambient temperature of 20±15℃ and relative humidity of 65±20%
- Connector or Connector mates with vehicle inlet

(1.5m: Recommended 1.5m height to concrete floor 8times.

chamber (humidity:93±2%, temp.: 32±2℃) within 1min.

chamber(-40℃×30min) within 5min, then put the hot
water in the mating portion. Hot water shall be 95~100℃.
If connector can not stand the hot water, set forth to that
fact in the instruction manual.
26 Solenoid continuity Run the solenoid continuously for 168hours(7days) with

load test monitoring the temperature fluctuation.
