Digital paid media is evolving to provide both the efficiency and accountability promised by programmatic advertising, as well as the transparency and impact of traditional media. This evolution will occur in a few key ways:
1) Traditional media companies will accelerate their digital transformation by expanding programmatic TV buying and forming partnerships between digital and linear players.
2) Brands will shift more investment to digital channels that provide targeting capabilities but can be easily verified, such as digital out of home, podcasting, and interactive event sponsorships.
3) Technology and standards will improve to address issues like viewability, fraud, and attribution in order to restore trust and optimize spending. Brands will demand more transparency from their partners.

Snapchat has taken the social media world
by storm since its arrival on the scene in 2011. The app started as a simple way to share photos and videos with friends. The unique twist? This content vanished immediately after viewing, and users get to set the viewing time from between 1-10 seconds.
Since its inception, Snapchat has gone through many rounds of updates. These include the addition of My Story, which allows users to share photos and videos to their entire friends list (which are available for unlimited viewing within a 24 hour span), the countless added filters, from time to speed to some rather flattering photo edits.
However, the biggest change to Snapchat is arguably who is using it and how. Serious news organizations like CNN have their own story set ups, TV networks like Comedy Central broadcast funny clips and restaurants use the app to flaunt off their fanciest dishes. In essence Snapchat has become a marketer’s playground, allowing them to get more creative with their content in a completely new format.
1) The document provides an overview of Instagram advertising, including its history and key milestones in introducing advertising features.
2) It discusses defining advertising goals such as objectives, formats, content types, and budget. Setting up ads involves connecting business accounts, targeting audiences, and respecting rules.
3) Metrics for monitoring ads include clicks, likes, costs, conversion rates, and moderating/engaging with comments. Troubleshooting underperforming aspects involves understanding metrics and curating more natural-looking content for audiences.
