Artificial Intelligence (AI) has already made a huge
impact on our current technological trends. Through AI
developments, machines are now given power and intelligence to
behave and work like human mind. In this research project, we
propose and implement an AI based health physician system that
would be able to interact with the patient, do the diagnosis and
suggest quick remedy or treatment of their problem. A decision tree
algorithm is implemented in order to follow a top down searching
approach to identify and diagnose the problem and suggest a
possible solution. The system uses a questionnaire based approach
to query the user (patient) about various Symptoms, based on which
a decision is made and a medicine is recommended.

Computer generated animation has become extremely popular in current era involved not only in movies and games, but mainstream television, education, scientific visualizations, Sports are but few noteworthy areas of its application. Even though majorly two types of animation techniques are used in the general industry; namely key-frame and motion capture, there are various other techniques of generating autonomous animation. In this survey paper we discuss the major techniques and approaches towards procedurally generating autonomous animation of Quadruped characters in specific. Initially we discuss various techniques used in generating skeletons and creating a character rig for quadrupeds. The various animation techniques are then discussed from footprint generation to data driven methods and finally physics and dynamics based approached and algorithms. All these methodologies tend to provide best possible solution for solving the problem of generating involuntary and autonomous animation of quadruped characters. In the end, a more suitable hybrid technique is proposed which will be more practically feasible and user friendly so it can be easily implemented.

Distributed database management systems (DDBMs) have limited capacity to manage overhead of distributed transactions due to certain failures. These types of failures don’t guarantee the enforcement of transactional properties and which reduces the scalability and availability of these systems. Research in this area proved that scaling out while providing consistency of transactions and guaranteeing availability in the presence of different failures in distributed computing environment is not feasible. As a result, the database community have used vertical scaling rather than horizontal scaling. Moreover changes in data access patterns resulting from a new generation of web applications with high scalability and availability guarantees weaker consistency. In this paper we have analyse that how different systems such as ElasTraS, Mstore, Sinfonia, ecStore and Gstore provide scalable transactional data access in cloud computing environment. We have also discussed transaction management (TM) in Gstore in detail and compared with other techniques and protocols used in current cloud based systems.

Hand detection is one of the most important and crucial step in human computer interaction environment. This paper presents a distance technique for hand detection based on depth image information get from Kinect sensor. Distance was used as the method of this study for hand detection. First, Kinect sensor was used to obtain depth image information. Second, background subtraction and iterative method for shadow removal applied to reduce noise from the depth image. Then, it used the official Microsoft SDK for extraction process. Finally, two hands could be segmented based on different color in specific distance. The experiment result shows that hands and head can be detected in a different position with good accuracy.

In this paper a unique way of rigging a bipedal character is discussed inside 3Ds Max, using constraints, wire parameter setup and linking the controls. 3Ds Max is more commonly used for game character modeling and rigging. For this purpose a built-in Biped setup is present that is a pre-rigged structure, which can be easily applied on any bipedal character type easily and efficiently. However, the built-in Biped system lacks the functionality of manual control and motion retargeted manipulation, mostly found in custom rigs. This proposed system builds a custom rig using a unique approach of combining multiple tools and expressions.

making it easy to animate by the animators. These controls consist of simple joints, handles, or even
separate character selection windows. This research paper present an automated rigging system for
quadruped characters with custom controls and manipulators for animation. The full character rigging
mechanism is procedurally driven based on various principles and requirements used by the riggers and
animators. The automation is achieved initially by creating widgets according to the character type. These
widgets then can be customized by the rigger according to the character shape, height and proportion.
Then joint locations for each body parts are calculated and widgets are replaced programmatically. Finally
a complete and fully operational procedurally generated character control rig is created and attached with
the underlying skeletal joints. The functionality and feasibility of the rig was analyzed from various source
of actual character motion and a requirements criterion was met. The final rigged character provides an
efficient and easy to manipulate control rig with no lagging and at high frame rate.

In this research a simple yet efficient means of generating quadruped animation using trigonometric based mathematical equations with expressions were discussed. The technique proposed through this research is based on two tier animation control curve. The base simulation is driven through procedural model using trigonometric sinus and cosine functions to generate a sinusoidal motion curve with control parameters. The trigonometric sinus and cosine functions are used with control attributes to produce involuntary, procedurally generated base animation. In the top layer, animation is manipulated and customized by the animator through custom user controllable manipulators. These manipulators are created through an automated procedural rigging technique, based on forward and inverse kinematics controls. The User is provided with various attributes to control the locomotion gaits and create varying types of gaits from walking, running and trotting with complete custom mechanism to easily extend the base simulation as per requirements through an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI).

This article presents a novel architecture using a hybrid model for developing a Sindhi spellchecker system which has yet not been developed prior to this work. The compound textual forms and glyphs of Sindhi language presents a substantial challenge for developing a Sindhi spellchecker system and generating a similar suggestion list for misspelled words. In order to implement such a system, phonetic-based Sindhi language rules and patterns must be taken into account for increasing the accuracy and efficiency. In this research work, a simple and efficient combinational hybrid system is proposed, using three different algorithms, the Edit Distance algorithm to find the measure of similarity between two Sindhi strings. The phonetic-based SoundEx and ShapeEx algorithms are developed for pattern or glyph matching, generating accurate and an efficient suggestion list for incorrect or misspelled Sindhi words. The proposed system is established with a blend between Phonetic-based SoundEx algorithm and ShapeEx algorithm for pattern or glyph matching, generating accurate and efficient suggestion list for incorrect or misspelled Sindhi words. In this article, a table of phonetically similar-sounding Sindhi characters is presented which are grouped together along with another table containing similar glyph or shape-based character groups. The system has been successfully integrated into a pre-developed Sindhi word processer application. The Sindhi word segmentation methodology and algorithms required for the spellchecker has already been published and so are not discussed in detail in this article.

In this paper we discuss a stand-alone system to allow the deaf or hard-of-hearing people and normal people to communicate with each other easily and fluently. We purpose a model for recognizing Malaysian Sign Language through image processing techniques and converting the visual information into textual information at real-time. In order to implement a real time hand gesture recognition system, video footage will be obtained from digital camera or cellphone camera, then hand position and location will be marked and cropping will be done to isolate them. Then the hand gestures will be recognized through image processing and matched to a prebuilt database of gestures which will be used for textual conversion on the screen. In the final step the normal person will type the text and its equivalent animation of hand gestures will be presented. Through this system, real-time recognition of Malaysian Sign Language and textual representation is done, giving more accurate results at least possible time. It will not only benefit the deaf and dumb people of Malaysia but also could be used in various applications in the technology field. This system provides the flexibility to learn Malaysian Sign Language at personal pace, at anytime and anywhere at home or at workplace.

This research paper present some statistical similarities and dissimilarities between the character frequencies of three languages, Malay, Indonesia and English. The reason for their comparison is that they all share a common symbol set (A-Z). It has been found, through investigations that statistically Malay and Indonesian language character frequencies are very close to each other. For example, character "A" "N" and "E" in both Malay and Indonesian languages have frequencies (19%, 20.4%), (10%, 9.33%) and (9%, 8.28%), respectively. However, the case of English is different, where characters "E", "T" and "A" come with three highest frequency occurring letters, respectively. An interesting observation is that in spite of some similarities and dissimilarities between the characters, all three language follow envelop of the frequencies identically rising and falling trend for all characters. Moreover, for all three languages, last four characters, "W, X, Y, Z", also exhibit lowest usage in their respective languages.

Dictionaries are the fundamental building block of any language facilitating the language learners, scholars, teachers, students and native speakers with vital understanding of linguistics resources. In this paper we discuss the implementation of Unicode based bilingual dictionary in Sindhi to English and English to Sindhi; targeted specifically for children. There doesn’t exists any such type of software system which is specifically for the young school going children of Sindh Province, that would facilitate and aid them in learning English language. This application thus is the first ever attempt to cultivate English to Sindhi and Sindhi to English Pictorial dictionary for Sindhi speaking Children. The system is developed using Java programming language with database managed through Hash-table. The system uses java beans to create and store the dictionary word information as objects and serialized to save it in a file using java’s object serialization technique. Initially a two set of user interfaces are created. First is the administrator section that is used to enter and save words and meanings along with their corresponding picture. The second section is the end user section that is used by the students to search and view the Sindhi-English word with picture. The words included are specifically targeted towards the children of Sindh and contain approximately thirty Three thousand words.
