This study adopted a quantitative technique to examine the impact of green entrepreneurship on the sustainable development of African nations. It reviewed thematically proof from 45 previous works that examined the effect of green product or service offering on social progress index.in Africa. It also found that adopting a single theory is insufficient to explain the rationale of the relationships between green entrepreneurship and sustainable development. While most studies adopted secondary data, future studies may focus on using primary data and other methods instead of regression or multiple regression analysis. From the findings, product or service offering positively correlates the green innovation and green product. In conclusion, the priory expectations were found to be positive outcomes because of the correlations among the moderating variable, explanatory variable and response variables. Hence, the regression model revealed that the alternate hypotheses were accepted, unlike the null hypotheses. Based on the findings and conclusion, this study contributes to the knowledge that green entrepreneurship is perceived to foster sustainable development in countries through the SMEs activities. It therefore could be recommended that green entrepreneurs should develop and design an analytical framework to synchronized green product or

This study adopts the use of survey research design with a sample size of two hundred and sixty (260) to examine impact of family values on family business post-succession performance in Nigeria. The data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and were analysed using multivariate regression. From the analysis, it was found that firm values has significant effect on post succession performance, firm values has significant effect on family firm's growth of family business, enterprise core values has significant effect on family business operations, firm values has significant effect on business ownership, firm values has significant effect on business and firm values has significant effect on business management. Based on the findings, it is concluded that the values considered significant by a family business owner and family members are also important to the success of the business and its growth. Some may have economic values like maximum profit or expanding the business, while others find enjoying work as a fundamental value for success in the business. Therefore, the study recommends that family should uphold those values that will enhance enterprise activities for better expansion and improved development. Hence, family business should not destroy the image of the family or weaken the family established harmony in decent society in order to improve family business performance. Also, family enterprises should sustain the four enterprise core values (order, success, community, and synergy) which are considered as the enterprise core values of every existing business in the world including family enterprises.

findings identified the entrepreneurial system elements in Nigeria: education;
infrastructural support; policy and regulatory framework; enterprise support; facilities;
training and orientation programmes; cultural influence; market climate conditions; access
to financial funding; and internal and external enablers. Priority was given to the
entrepreneurial education system by emphasizing the various levels of education where
entrepreneurship education should be adapted with the pedagogy for each level of
education. The Lamino Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Achievement Process (LEEAP) Model
was developed in line with the findings. The study recommended that entrepreneurship
needs to be inclusive on all levels of the Nigerian education system, emphasizing that;
primary-child centred; secondary-subject-centred, and tertiary-vocational-centred should
be adapted for entrepreneurial education to advance in Nigeria. The study further

The increase in diversity among employees has prompted organizations to begin to craft their human resource strategy towards better diversity management which in turn will lead to greater employee performance. This research seeks to investigate the effect of workforce diversity (age, gender and experience) on employee performance (employee engagement and employee satisfaction) in the five (5) Domestic Systemically Important Banks (DSIBs) in Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design as its methodology. Data was collected from 1881 employees in the 5 DSIBs from the six (6) geo-political zones in Nigeria using questionnaires. Regression analysis and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)-Maximum Likelihood was used for data analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between workforce diversity (age, gender and experience) and employee performance. The findings of this study will give guidelines on the management of workforce diversity in the Banking and financial sector towards improved employee performance. This study examines the effect of workforce diversity on employee performance in DSIBs in Nigeria which is a gap that the study sought to fill.

The study examined the effect of employee job satisfaction on employee productivity, assessing the impact of communication as an indicator of job satisfaction in the Nigerian federal civil service. A part of efforts to achieve the eight Sustainable Development Goal of Decent Work and Economic Growth by 2030. Theoretical Framework: Low performance and high turnover rates can result from job dissatisfaction which has been peculiar case in the public and private sector, attempt to deal with it has not been yielding positive result in the civil service in Nigeria (Rinny et al., 2020; Sadiq et al. 2020). Therefore, there is need to empirically investigate the impact of communication on employee productivity in Nigerian federal civil service which lacks sufficient research. Methodology: The study used a survey research design and purposive non-probability sampling where the data are collected through the distribution of 2,836 questionnaires to the staff of 10 Nigerian federal civil services. In order to gather data for the study, Demographic data were analyzed using basic descriptive statistical methods like mean, percentages, and standard deviations, while inferential statistics were analyzed using econometric methods like multiple and logistic regression, as well as Karl Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficients. Findings: Finding of the study showed that employee productivity is strongly and favorably affected by (communication) as proxy for job satisfaction. Nonetheless, in the Nigerian Federal Civil Service, the interaction of work environment moderating between communication had no impact on employee productivity. Research, Practical & Social Implication: The study recommends that organizations should establish transparent and accessible communication channels that involves implementing regular feedback mechanisms to ensure that employees feel heard and valued Originality/Value: It is quite unusual with previous study using communication as proxy for job satisfaction as an independent variable, Also, none of the previous used work environment as mediating variable in the interplay between communication and employee productivity in civil service in Federal Capital Territory Abuja Nigeria.

This study examined the impact of National Housing Fund contribution and mortgage financing of housing delivery on staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa Nigeria. The main objective of the study was to determine the contribution of National Housing Fund (NHF) scheme on housing delivery in Nigeria with specific focus on houses improvement for the employees of Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Nigeria and Ex-post facto research design was employed as it is due to the nature of the study which is time series data while the population consists of the contribution of NHF for Nine (9) years i.e. between the periods of 2010 to 2018 to the staff of Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa. The result of the study shows that increase in national housing fund contribution will increase mortgage finance in federal polytechnic Nasarawa because there is positive significant effect between the variables. From the findings, the study concludes that the contributions of National Housing Fund through primary Mortgage institutions to housing financing in Nigeria is faced with certain challenging factors, and problems and there is need to proffer possible solutions in-order to boost the flow of funds into the housing sector. Based on the findings, the study recommended that the financing of national housing programmes should be viewed primarily as a national responsibility of the government. The private sector should be encouraged also to provide the bulk of actual investment funds for housing to middle income and upper income groups of the society. For the lowincome group, however, continued public support, individual initiative through entrepreneurial spirit and labour movement will be required for housing and movement involvement will also be required for housing and community development.

This study examines gender gap in entrepreneurial leadership and challenges facing women entrepreneurs of small and medium scale enterprises in Nigeria. The major objective of the study was to determine women entrepreneurs' capacity in bridging leadership while running small businesses. The study however, employed survey research design as copies of questionnaire were administered and information was generated from respondents that formed the population of the study. The study covered six geo-political zones of Nigeria within the spanned period of 2015 to 2019 and the total population of the study comprised of 839 selected small and medium scale businesses across the zones which also served as the sample size. The study reveals that ethnicreligious, poor access to finance, inadequate training and access to information pose a serious threat to women efforts in Entrepreneurship and SMEs development. On the other hand, women were attracted to small and medium scale enterprises because of the perceived flexibility to manage work and family, this flexibility did not negate the constraints of family responsibilities and helped to account for the fact that many women were sole operators, working part time in the business. The study recommended that, women entrepreneurs should be given adequate entrepreneurial skills through formal education, be granted equal privileges to men in our various communities in the country, and be given both financial and humanitarian support to participate in the entrepreneurship management in order to enhance quality and industrious activities toward entrepreneurship development in Nigeria as well as the globe.

This research investigates the nexus between women’s empowerment initiatives and poverty alleviation in Nigeria with focus on economic, psychological, social, and educational dimensions. The study is grounded in the Capability Approach. A cross-sectional design was employed and primary data was collected via close-ended questionnaires from a sample of 384 randomly selected from 18,080,973 female beneficiaries of the National Cash Transfer Programme. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyse the data collected. The findings reveal a positive correlation between Economic Empowerment (ECE), Psychological Empowerment (PS), and Social Empowerment (SE) with Poverty Alleviation (PA). Unexpectedly, Educational Empowerment (EDE) exhibits a negative association with poverty alleviation. Introducing Monitoring and Evaluation (ME) as a crucial moderating variable, the research emphasizes its role in optimizing empowerment program impact. This study offers valuable insights into the relationship between women’s empowerment and poverty alleviation in Nigeria. Positive correlations in economic, psychological, and social dimensions emphasize the holistic nature of effective empowerment. The unexpected negative association with educational empowerment prompts a reassessment. The inclusion of Monitoring and Evaluation as a crucial moderating variable underscores its importance. Policy efforts should focus on holistic empowerment strategies, tailored educational initiatives, and robust Monitoring and Evaluation practices for continual program improvement.

The concept 'Entrepreneur' is not a new concept, but 'Entrepreneur Leadership' in itself is a concept that is not cearly identified by organizations or leaders in Nigeria. This leadership style is a phenomenon that is applied correctly and within the sphere of the right organizational environment can improve organizationsl performance. This research will look at the application of entrepreneurial leadership within the Nigerian banks and if adopted how it will affect employee productivity. All existing 24 Nigerian banks will be studied within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). A branch of each bank will be selected randomly, in which an interview was carried out and questionnaires were distributec to each branch manager. From the research made the study proposes that most of the branch managers' apply entrepreneurial leadership style, even though a large percentage of the branch managers do not understand or have little comprehension of the concept. It was also determined that the application of entrepreneurial leadwership style has also helped towards improving the employee productivity of these various branches. Finanlly the Nigerian banks need to lay more emphasis on extensive leadership traning and make efforts to inculcate entrepreneurial leadership style into the organizational culture.

Over the years, there have been high business failure rates amongst start-up businesses in Africa. The possible reason for this prevalence is that small business owners are not equipped to identify the problem areas within their businesses, due to the lack of necessary skills and tools to increase profitability and sustainability. Likewise, many small businesses owners in Nigeria do not engage cash management practices simply because they feel they are not necessary and are very time consuming as a result this had an influence on their operations and productivity. The study thus examines impacts of cash management practices on SMEs performance in Nigeria using Nasarawa State as a study. To accomplish this objective, the study employed descriptive research design as well as student-test statistical tool to test the stated hypothese. Findings from the study revealed that small businesses always experience cash shortages and they do not invest their cash surpluses in short term investments due to lack of cash management practices. Moreso, majority of the SME operations were found not to keep adequate records of their business operations and due to poor financial discipline, their business sustainability and expansion has been on the downward decline. SMEs are thus encouraged to always prepare and keep adequate financial records for their daily operations so as to keep track of cash flows. it will enable them plan for expansion and growth.

Achieving a compatitive advantage position relative to its business rival is what most Nigerian organization in particular should be aiming for . Despite the importance of attaining competitive advantage in organizations, there has been limited study on the relationship between organizational resources and the way firms are organized to achieved competitive advantage. A company's resource and capabilities are increasingly being considered as one of the fundamental sources of competitive advantage within the context of strategic management in Nigeria. However, most literature has not clearly linked the resource and capabilities of an organization with sustainable competitive advantage. This paper, therefore, explores and discusses the role of a company's resource and capabilities in helping Nigerian business firms to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. specifically, it deals with how resources and capabilities can be transformed into competencies of an organization that can lead to a sustainable competitive advantage. The main research methods used are interview of the five (5) organizations that were picked as the population of study, also analysis and integration of theories were done to develop a conceptual model. This paper proposes that, through a companys' resources and capabilities a firm can develop hard to imitate core competence that creates values, which in turn leads to superior performance, thus competitive advantage over other competitors in the Nigerian market.

Utilization of organizations resources is vital for the goals and objectives of any organization; and this especially includes the 'human resources' of an organization. There are various environmentalfactors/challenges that tends to affect the way in which an organizations 'human resource' department tends to operate. This research study looks into the various Nigerian environmental factors/challenges that a human resource manager has to look out for and the necessary strategies that need to be put in place to mitigate or eliminate these factors or challenges. A literature review is adopted that discucces the various environmental challenges facing Human Resource Departments in Nigeria; which includes economic, cultural, demographic, legal,and technological challenges. The research method that was used for this study was basically secondary data extractions from textbooks, journals and websites. The major findings established are that environmental challenges are threats which are inevitable but onec HR managers are proactive enough, they can mitigate the damage these challenges can create to thier 'human resources' by making sure appropriate stategies are put in place. Conclusions made are that Human Resource Managers need to be more aware and able to identify challenges facing their departments and know the necessary strategies that need to be put in place so that these factors will not affect the work quality of staff and will not affect the goals and objectives of an organization.

The population of this study comprised of six hundred and fifty four (654) selected businesses registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria as at January 2018 which were examined in Northern States of Nigeria. Out of the total population, five hundred and twenty (520) firms provide the requried, valid and reliable information as they have transited and are in their second, third generations and above. The study uses frequency counts and percentages to analyse the data collected. It was found that the business enterprises are motivated to fill their executive positions both by the need for recursion and adaptation. It is also found that management takes into consideration the possession of relevant experience and the company's culture when bringing in new executives as successors. The study recommended that since the managements of these organizations takes the organisations  culture as very important in the recruitment of executives to top positions, they should rather develop an internal strategy of grooming their own executives since they are much more likely to be familiar with the organizations culture instead of employing external executive who must study the system for period of time before resumimg action for effective and efficient running of the organizations activities.
