Niejednokrotnie efektem tych przemian jest konieczność przeprowadzenia zmian w strukturze za-trudnienia. Zmiany te są trudne, prowadzą w konsekwencji do zwolnień. Jednym z narzędzi wspomagających ten proces jest outplacement. Pojęcie to sukcesywnie, chociaż powoli, zaczyna funkcjonować w świadomości polskich przedsiębiorców.
Przedsiębiorstwo, które decyduje się na wdrożenie programu outplacement, manifestuje tym samym swoją prospołeczną strategię personalną. Jednocześnie ponosi związane z tym programem koszty, w tym koszty jakości. Celem poniższych rozważań jest ich specyfikacja w odniesieniu do programu outplacement.

In a competitive environment, where the battle for market supremacy is severe, certain companies might face with serious problems due to the current context of the world economic crisis. Because the crisis phenomenon has become a disturbing factor in the progress of bussines activities, providing quality at the required standards is a sine qua non requirement. In time, many companies have tried to come up with cost reduction methods, spending a large amount of resources in order to achieve their strategic goals. For some companies, the cost of quality becomes a variable that must be downsized in order to obtain a more considerable profit. For other companies instead, quality is the key which makes the difference. So, the proper question is: Can quality be a reliable way to overcome the economic crisis? Investment casting process is used worldwide to manufacture as cast precision castings specially for super alloy castings mainly for Aerospace and Automotive Industry. The process of investment castings is very complicated compared to other commonly used casting processes. Very crucial stages in this process are 1) first coat of zircon silica on pattern assembly and 2) Metal pouring in preheated shells. These two stages of the investment casting processes are usually performed manually in small scale Investment casting foundries causing defects which increase the cost of quality and scrap. This increases delivery lead time affecting profit gains. This scenario is typical for small scale investment casting foundries making small yet high production castings.

Organizacje, które chcą być skutecznie zarządzane, powinny dokonać identyfikacji zachodzących procesów, a także ich wzajemnych powiązań. Powinny prowadzić działania, które przyczynią się do doskonalenia funkcjonujących systemów, a także do poprawy jakości oferowanych wyrobów (lub usług). Do analizy skuteczności wykonanych działań, analizy przyczyn nieosiągnięcia zaplanowanych celów, a także do planowania przyszłych działań organizacja może wykorzystać zarówno rachunek kosztów jakości, jak i model PDCA (zwany cyklem Deminga). Celem takich analiz jest doskonalenie organizacji, sposobu jej zarządzania, ale także jakości oferowanych wyrobów lub usług.

Wybrany i stosowany przez przedsiębiorstwo model kosztów jakości zależy od funkcjonującej struktury w organizacji, podejmowanych działań i dojrzałości systemu jakości.
Koszty jednostki gospodarczej są wielkością złożoną z różnych elementów. Klasyfikacja kosztów polega na podziale ogólnej sumy kosztów jednostki gospodarczej na różne grupy, stosownie do przyjętego kryterium klasyfikacyjnego. Klasyfikacja umożliwia poznanie struktury kosztów oraz stanowi podstawę budowy rachunku kosztów. Ujmuje ona koszty w takich przekrojach, które są przydatne do analizy, kontroli, podejmowania decyzji itp. W praktyce najczęściej spotyka się podział kosztów jakości na 4 podstawowe grupy kosztów jakości: koszty zapobiegania, koszty badania i oceny, koszty niezgodności wewnętrznych, koszty niezgodności zewnętrznych. Są to te grupy kosztów jakości, które przedsiębiorstwa analizują i dążą do ich optymalizacji. Natomiast koszty utraconych możliwości, koszty utraconych korzyści, czy koszty przekroczenia wymagań są to te grupy kosztów, które mogą być liczone, ale często są liczone jako wielkości szacunkowe. Zainteresowanie kosztami jakości wywołane zostało głównie potrzebą doskonalenia najczęściej już scertyfikowanego systemu zarządzania jakością oraz jego ekonomiką poprzez opracowanie programu poprawy i doskonalenia jakości. Wynika to z potrzeby zwiększenia konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw na rynku krajowym i międzynarodowym. W artykule przedstawiono i porównano wybrane modele kosztów jakości.

atau kemungkinan adanya kualitas produk yang rendah di dalam suatu perusahaan yang berhubungan dengan penciptaan, pengidentifikasian, perbaikan, dan pencegahan produk cacat. Tujuan pengukuran dan analisis biaya kualitas adalah untuk mengidentifikasi berapa banyak pengeluaran yang digunakan berkaitan dengan kegiatan kualitas. Terdapat empat kategori dalam Cost of Quality, yaitu: Biaya Pencegahan (Prevention Cost), Biaya penilaian (Appraisal Cost), Biaya Kegagalan Internal (Internal Failure Cost), dan Biaya Kegagalan Eksternal (External Failure Cost).

After focusing on Cost of Quality (COQ) at all levels within, companies need to consider the supply chain upstream as a first step towards addressing COQ-related issues across their supply chains. This paper is a first step in this direction. In this preliminary study, we determine COQ at selected third-party contract manufacturing sites of a world-leading research-based pharmaceutical company in India. Data for the year 2005–2006 were collected using the Traditional Method, the Defect Document Method, the Time and Attendance Method and the Assessment Method through interviews with internal customers, and check-sheets at the contract sites. Various quality cost elements were identified and categorised under prevention, appraisal, internal failures and external failures. We estimate quality costs in monetary terms as per PAF (Prevention-Appraisal-Failure) model and use standard DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Check) methodology for analysis. We identify significant COQ drivers in this healthcare supply chain and suggest measures to address them. Finally, we suggest directions for future research.

Recently, many industrial companies have focused on quality costs, playing an important and sensitive role among competitive companies. So, when these institutions control these costs more accurately, they may be able to stay in the competitive market for a longer period. The purpose of this article is to review published literature about the various costs of quality approaches, gain knowledge about quality costs and its supporting competitive advantage. Also, this review study emphases on a cost of quality models in the calculation to the traditional P-A-F approach. The results of the study show that there is no uniform definition of the costs of quality in the scientific literature. Industrial organizations should separate quality costs from total costs to improve quality and thereby achieve better financial results. Industrial organizations should consider the costs associated with quality, being the only ones able to keep these organizations survival for a longer period of time under intense competition.

Koszty jakości odgrywają ważną rolę w systemie zarządzania jakością w przedsiębiorstwie. W artykule przedstawiono rachunek kosztów jakości w przedsiębiorstwie przemysłu spożywczego. Prawidłowo prowadzony rachunek kosztów jakości służy ustalaniu efektów, cen oraz umożliwia kontrolę gospodarności i stanowi bazę do podejmowania decyzji ekonomicznych. Wielkość i struktura kosztów jakości jest podstawą oceny skuteczności systemu zarządzania jakością. Na jej podstawie można ocenić kondycję przedsiębiorstwa z punktu widzenia realizowanej polityki jakości.
Quality costs play an important role in the quality management system in an enterprise. The article presents the quality costs in a food production enterprise. If the quality costs account is carried out correctly, it can be used as assessment and prices. It enables the control of finance management and constitutes a base for taking economic decisions. The size and structure of quality costs is a base for estimating the efficiency of the quality management system. It is possible to evaluate the condition of an enterprise on this base from the point of view of the quality policy.

This case study reports the development and implementation process of a production planning system for a carbon products manufacturer. The model developed for the company provides an optimal production sequence by minimizing the setup costs. Quality has been important competition factor wherefore companies invest heavily in it and continuous improvement initiatives. On the other hand, quality costs models are seen as a way to recognize the need for quality improvement. Where the quality costs are high, the quality is poor so the improvement is necessary. Notwithstanding many studies elaborate that an analysis of quality costs is an important aspect of implementing a total quality management culture, there are still significant number of firms that neglect this aspect, especially small and medium sized organizations.

This paper aims to examine the level of quality costs models application in the practice. The analysis will be carried out on the basis of research on quality costing in the practice, pointed out in literature by different authors in this field. Additionally, advantages of quality costing application as well as reasons for neglecting this aspect will be included. This examination and reasons comparison can give a valuable insight into overall effectiveness of the quality costs models implementation.

Celem prowadzenia rachunku kosztów jakości jest finalna odpowiedź na pytanie, które koszty można zmniejszyć lub nawet wyeliminować. Rachunek kosztów jakości wymaga usystematyzowanego podejścia. Celem opracowanego modelu jest ułatwienie organizacjom przygotowywania, opracowywania i wdrażania rachunku kosztów jakości. Model ten składa się z kilku etapów: definiowania, klasyfikowania i dekretowania kosztów jakości. Następnie należy dokonać analizy kosztów jakości wykorzystując wcześniej opracowane wskaźniki, a także porównując je w czasie. Ważnym etapem w rachunku kosztów jakości jest wykorzystanie tak przygotowanych informacji do podejmowania dalszych działań doskonalących. Rachunek kosztów jakości jest wartościowym narzędziem w zarządzaniu jakością. Jest pomocny w identyfikowaniu większości obszarów, które generują wysokie koszty, a także w ujawnianiu miejsc, gdzie powstają niezgodności.

O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar e identificar o quanto os custos da não qualidade impactam sobre o faturamento de uma indústria de confecção situada na região sudoeste da Bahia. Tal tipo de análise é de fundamental importância para o bom posicionamento de qualquer negócio, independente do seu ramo de atuação, uma vez que lança luz a um aspecto usualmente pouco explorado. Sendo assim, quantificar o quanto a não entrega/execução de um produto/serviço com qualidade gera sobre as receitas do negócio é fundamental, ou seja, o custo da não qualidade é um importante indicador que deve ser observado a fim de conferir ações que gerem uma maior competitividade à empresa. Com o uso da bibliografia citada no presente estudo, o estudo de caso comprova de modo claro que os custos com a não qualidade impactam de maneira efetiva no faturamento das organizações, apesar do pequeno valor percentual, em termos monetários o impacto é significativo, na unidade fabril em análise pôde-se apurar um prejuízo na ordem de meio milhão de reais que deixaram de ser obtidos com a venda dos produtos produzidos por conta de o nível de qualidade das peças estarem aquém do esperado pelo cliente.

Operational Research is one of the major areas of Production Engineering. Your main applicability is in the development of scientific methods that study complex systems to order to predict and determine actions to be taken strategically. The study will seek to days of the month of greatest order entry, in relation to the period of the month and the types of dishes ordered. This survey may enable the company to strategy that maximizes its economy in both low and high demand. It presents as a general objective, the elaboration of a model, aided by a artificial intelligence system, which controls quality costs in a restaurant. In conjunction with the central objective, as specific objectives, are: to test the application of the Optimum-Path Forest (OPF) to recognize patterns in requests, within each analyzed month; analyze the unit's wastage index in relation to the requests, identifying the origin of the waste; elaborate action plan (5W2H), with suggestions for corrections, preventions and improvements in the origin of waste. It will be used a quantitative approach, because it is feasible to easure the that is tried to explore, bringing with it the measurements expressed by numerical means. They will be documentary and bibliographic research. The data to be collected are from the first seven months of the year 2017 and will be analyzed through LibOPF. The present work is identifying a possibility of innovation in the use of the Forest of Paths method, since scientific studies, until then, of the use of OPF restaurants, and is therefore also innovative for the food sector and seeking to reduce prices that the consumer pays. Due to the increase of consumers in restaurants, snack bars, food trucks and bars and, from the restaurant's order entry data, we ask ourselves: how much does it cost to get quality control of the products and services offered by a restaurant of Japanese gastronomy, based on sales standards. It is expected that the identified by the OPF, make it possible to draw up necessary resource planning, demand reduction to reduce costs and increase profitability.

Analizowanie kosztów jakości jest skutecznym narzędziem zarządzania przynoszącym przedsiębiorstwom przemysłu spożywczego wymierne korzyści. Wdrożenie rachunku kosztów jakości umożliwia ujawnienie kosztów niezgodności wewnętrznych, a także ocenę efektywności funkcjonowania systemu zarządzania w przedsiębiorstwie. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono model rachunku kosztów jakości wdrożony w przedsiębiorstwie przemysłu spożywczego.
Quality costs analyzing is a very efficient tool of management that brings a lot of profits to a food industry enterprise. The implementation of quality costs calculation lets to expose the internal costs of discordance as well as evaluate the functioning of quality management system's efficiency in the enterprise. There is a quality cost calculation model implemented in a food industry enterprise presented in this paperwork.

This study aimed at estimating cost of conformance and non-conformance with food safety requirements in small date farms in Baharia Oasis as a case study based on BS 6143-2/2007 for quality economics, 2 nd Edition. A questionnaire was designed to assess Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in 38 small date farms located at Baharia Oasis specifically in the areas of Bawiti, Mandisha and Zabo against the applicable requirements of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practices (GHP) user's guide issued in 2011 by the United States Department of Agricultural (USDA) as a tool to evaluate food safety status in agricultural farms. Some quantitative measures were estimated i.e. minimum, maximum, average and standard deviations and the coefficient of variation for farmers' additions of chemical and organic fertilizers, pesticides and losses during different pre and post-harvest stages. The study reached some major findings, which are: Direct cost of non-conformance with quality and food safety requirements in small date farms in Baharia Oasis in the agricultural season 2017/2018 amounted to about 337.710 million EGP including: 1) Annual losses in farm productivity that estimated at 205.605 million Egyptian pounds. 2) Annual losses in production quantities during harvest, adjusting moisture and storage that estimated at 132.105 million EGP. On the other hand, the cost of conformance with the quality and food safety requirements was estimated at 428.070 million Egyptian pounds represent: 1) Cost of constructing water sedimentation ponds that estimated at 9,380 million EGP to irrigate the entire area of small date farms in Baharia Oasis with water purified from heavy metals. 2) Cost of building drip irrigation networks for all small date farms in Baharia Oasis that estimated at 204.975 million EGP. 3) Cost of training permanent labor in small date farms in Baharia Oasis on GAP that estimated at 5.887 million pounds. 4) Cost of covering date punches with cloths bags to prevent them from insects and physical contamination with dust for all date palm trees in Baharia Oasis that estimated at 47.828 million pounds. 5) Cost of establishing 10 refrigerators to store the entire quantities of dates in small farms in Baharia Oasis (38288 tons per year) that estimated at 160 million pounds.

w przedsiębiorstwie instrumentarium zarządzania jakością.

The paper presents a return on quality model designed to assess projects of service quality that can help airlines in retaining passengers. Such models can enable carriers simulate scenarios and assist management in decision-making processes, identifying the elements of performance that can lead to rejection or approval by passengers. An application of the methodology considers the flight firming project of a major airline company that had the target of improving the service quality offered in the business class booking and refunding processes, reducing at the same time the amount of denied boarding due to overbooking.

W organizacji rachunek kosztów jakości jest narzędziem racjonalnego oddziaływania na proces kształtowania jakości, a także jednym z decyzyjnych kryteriów zarządzania tym procesem. Koszty jakości stanowią syntetyczną informację dla kierownictwa firmy o stopniu doskonalenia w systemie zarządzania jakością. Rachunek kosztów jakości ma coraz większe znaczenie dla przedsiębiorstw przemysłu motoryzacyjnego. Analiza kosztów jakości dostarcza organizacji niezbędnych informacji o miejscach generowania kosztów, a także o słabych stronach organizacji i istniejących w organizacji procesach. Informacje te są wykorzystywane przez kierownictwo w procesie podejmowania decyzji zarówno operacyjnych, jak i strategicznych.
The quality cost account is a tool influencing on quality designing process as well as one of the decisional criteria of process management. The quality costs give top management a synthetic information about level of improvement in quality management system. The quality cost account has a growing meaning for automotive industry. The analysis of quality costs gives organization indispensable information about costs generating areas , as well as week areas of organization and processes among this organization. Those information are used by top management in operational and strategic decision making process.
