Every  day,  the  number  of  children  born  with  disabilities  is  increasing.  One  of  the  many  disabilities  is  Down's  syndrome,  which occurs on average in one of  650 infants.  For a child born with this disability,  it is much more difficult to normally grow, develop and function in everyday  life.  In the past,  children born with Down syndrome were neglected, and their education was not paidalmost any attention. Today, there are significant changes in social awareness related to rights and needs of children with Down syndrome.  Early  intervention  programs  that  are  being  developed  in  order  to  mitigate  problems  of  children  with  disabilities  are becoming  much  better,  and  the  number  of  therapeutic  methods  is  increasing.  There are a  number  of  institutions  and organizations which provide assistance and  support to the parents of  children with Down syndrome.  To encourage  their overall development and enable easier and more efficient functioning in society, children with Down syndrome are being integrated into pre-school  and  school  facilities.  The  aim  of  this  work  is  to  further  sensitize  the  public  to  problems  and  needs  of  this  very vulnerable population of  children and show examples of  successful integration of  children with Down syndrome in kindergarten and elementary schools

availability and utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities by Teacher Educators for making their teaching and learning effective in educational institutions. The study population consisted of all (200) Teacher Educators from the universities and colleges in Haryana. Out of 200 Teacher Educators, 138 were selected using random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentage and chi-square. The study revealed that ICT facilities which serve as a major contributor to effective teaching and learning in teacher education programmes were lacking in traditional colleges, Govt., Non-Govt. aided and purely private colleges. Exposure of the students and teachers to ICT facilities was low. There were visible ICT facilities in some of the private and govt. technical colleges and in some of the technical colleges it was excellent though majority of them were private colleges. The study recommends among others strategies for its (ICT) maximum utilization; and that ICT facilities should be made available for effective teaching and learning of teacher education programmes. During the course you need to keep track of all forms of training. Observation of the teacher should be carried out for the acquisition by the student. A frustrated pupil should be able to describe in detail his thoughts around the subject and strive to exchange ideas with his friends. In order to prepare children with hearing impairments for schooling, they need to give an idea of what they are doing, and verbal and written language should be developed interrelated. At this time, students' interest in knowledge increases, and the child has the opportunity to continue schooling. Reforms in the system of education in our republic were not carried out specifically. At present, there has been some improvement in the provision of schools with methodological literature and textbooks. Some questions related to the theoretical and practical problems of children with hearing impairment, and the work done in school, are reflected in the pedagogical and psychological and methodological literature. Although the literature does not directly discuss that theoretical and experimental work with children with hearing impairment is being discussed, we are talking about their importance and their role in the formation of personality.

The purpose of this study is to understand the perception and readiness on online distance learning. The study aims to add to the growing body of knowledge that has looked at many different variables that may affect educator and student performance by using a qualitative analysis approach research review, this study reviewed 26 published papers and research studies on the online learning, this study focusing on how theories, practices and assessments online to the current environment. The propose of this study is to provide suggestion for online distance learning. Based on this review, author focuses on the online distance learning, perceptions online distance learning at tertiary level educator and readiness to online distance learning, Because of challenges are interrelated, based on the findings, the researcher propose a conceptual framework of emerging issues for e-learning in Malaysia. The framework is useful to guide both practice and research. The researchers would like to recommend for future research to investigate the comparison between students' and lecturer's readiness to use Online Distance Learning (ODL) by using quantitative approach where more respondents can participate in the study.

School culture includes values, principles, and criteria. It is an integral part of sustainability education, of which climate change education (CCE) is seen as a way to improve students' ability to take action to mitigate climate change. This survey aimed to investigate Finnish student teachers' views of factors important in implementing CCE in school culture and their abilities as teachers to promote CCE. Thirty-six student teachers wrote essays regarding the implementation of school culture and responded to a questionnaire concerning their ability to act as climate change (CC) educators and the challenges they identified in teaching and learning about it. Inductive content analysis was used to study the essays. In student teachers' answers, six themes to implement in school culture were identified: elements, work community, teacher's impact, students in the centre, actors outside the school, and challenges. The student teachers highlighted challenges, such as views that deny CC and challenge the transformation of school culture to support sustainable development. The suggested ways to support CCE in daily school life that were very concrete, such as recycling and food education. Student teachers found their own ability to act as climate educators to be relatively good. They identified challenges, especially in motivating students to learn about CC and to participate and take action towards a climate-friendly lifestyle. Students' conflicting attitudes, values, and beliefs related to CC, reinforced by their inner circle, were seen as challenges in teaching and learning about CC. Despite these challenges, transforming a school culture to support CCE should be the goal of every school.

Analysis of the natural environment as a source for understanding and creation of environmental awareness and consciousness among children of pre-school and early school age, as well as methods for the formation of ecological culture among children in particular especially should be emphasized the application of the same educational process because they allow the teachers to encourage creative activity among children in the pedagogic activity. Educator is confronted from one side with the age of children who work, and the other with the characteristics of natural phenomena from which he derives various findings that children should be accepted as an important component of ecological culture.

Preschool teachers play a very important but highly sensitive role in preschool children's play. It is therefore very important to build their play competences in a quality way. As this is not easily achieved, the main objective of the present study was to analyse the roles of students of preschool education in children's play. The study included 36 students enrolled at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka, Croatia. Through a qualitative analysis of the students' preparations for their practice, it was determined that the majority of students use didactic play and play with rules with children. Although the students demonstrated the expected role in children's play, which positively influenced the educational work and the overall well-being of the children, some of the students were not decisive. The aim of the present study was to ascertain the effects of the five-month implementation of the comprehensive inductive educational approach on the social behaviour of kindergarten children. The sample consisted of 52 children in the experimental group and 48 children in the control group, aged from 2.6 to 6.0 years. The kindergarten teachers responsible for thetwo groups completed the Slovenian version of the Social Competence and Behaviour Evaluation questionnaire before and after the implementation of the approach. The children in the experimental group achieved higher scores than those in the control group on five of the eight basic scales of social behaviour, and on two of the three composite scales, as well as onthe general result of social adaptation. It can be concluded that the implementation of the comprehensive educational approach influenced various aspects of the children’s social behaviour.

RESUMEN: Si bien la caracterización de la población adolescente y juvenil en riesgo de exclusión social ha sido ampliamente investigada, no lo ha sido tanto la intervención que se realiza con ella. Este artículo hace referencia a una investigación que, realizada entre los años 2011 y 2012, avanza en la descripción de estrategias eficaces de intervención, en su tipificación y estudio, de forma que sirvan como banco de información para una buena práctica profesional, reproducible y útil para mejorar la situación de los adolescentes en riesgo. Collaboration among education professionals has been identified as a viable approach for designing, implementing, and evaluating strategies for meeting the educational needs of a diverse student population. However, few data exist describing the collaboration activities of secondary school general educators. A national survey of 1000 secondary school general educators was conducted to determine the current status of the knowledge and skill of secondary school teachers to engage in collaboration activities and to identify the frequency and topics of their collaborative interactions with special educators, general educators, and community service providers. Responses from 356 teachers suggested that a majority of them interact frequently with general education colleagues; however, less than half of them interacted more than once per week on a frequent basis with their special education colleagues. In the project Methods and Models in the Education of Preschool Children in Kindergartens conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb, we were interested in practitioners’ and kindergarten teacher  students’ opinions, motivation, satisfaction, expectations and attitudes with regard to their work. Two open-ended questions regarding the role of the kindergarten teacher in children’s lives, were set as a separate mini-questionnaire. For the purposes of this particular study, practitioners (N=69) and first-year university kindergarten teacher students (N=65) had to complete two sentences: “Children are like…because …” and “Kindergarten teachers are like… because…”. Their responses were content analysed and then compared. Analysis shows that both students and kindergarten teachers perceive children in a very positive way and evaluate their job as highly valuable. They also highly value their role in children’s lives (as another parent, teacher, helper, model, safe haven, etc....

Care for the vocal apparatus and ability to use it are prerequisites for maintaining its good condition for a long time. The article discusses issues related to the correct voice emission in the educator's work and draws attention to the threats the voice is exposed to in this profession. The importance of preventive measures to avoid voice-related problems and diseases among teachers has been demonstrated and logopaedic exercises have been proposed to allow this group of professionals to keep their voices and articulation apparatuses in good condition.
