Findings

We examined the utility of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2-Restructured Form (MMPI-2-RF) to differentiate patients with lifetime bipolar disorder (BD) from patients with lifetime major depressive disorder
(MDD), and to differentiate patients with BD who are currently depressed from patients with current MDD. Sixty-one patients
with BD (BD-I n = 51, BD-II n = 10) and 381 patients with MDD were administered the MMPI-2; MMPI-2-RF scale scores were derived from these MMPI-2 protocols.
Receiver operating characteristics analysis revealed that the MMPI-2-RF Activation (ACT) scale had the largest Area Under
the Curve (AUC), which was 0.74. Using a cut-off score of 4 on the ACT scale resulted in 71% of patients being correctly classified
as having BD or MDD (sensitivity = 0.67, specificity = 0.71). An examination of currently depressed patients with BD (n = 29) and a randomly selected sample of MDD patients (n = 29) revealed that the ACT scale correctly classified 72% of patients (AUC = 0.75, sensitivity = 0.69, specificity = 0.76).
Implications and limitations of these findings were discussed.

Daniel Schulz beleuchtet auf ungewöhnliche und anschauliche Weise die Geschichte eines der bedeutendsten Barockschlösser Deutschlands. Anhand von historischen Graffiti wird die Bauzeit der 1704-1733 errichteten Anlage lebendig, wobei der Fokus auf der Lebenswelt der Handwerker liegt. Aber auch die klassische Kunstgeschichte wird in einem umfangreichen Teil gewürdigt. Der Autor beleuchtet ausführlich die Ikonografie, die Ausstattung des Schlosses mit Skulpturen und Fresken für Herzog Eberhard Ludwig von Württemberg. Um die Geschichte der Residenz unter König Friedrich I. im frühen 19. Jh. darzustellen, wendet sich Daniel Schulz wieder einer ungewöhnlichen Quellengattung zu: Fundobjekte wie Briefe, Dokumente oder Kleidungsstücke, die unter den Fussböden gefunden wurden. Der Autor schreibt die Schlossgeschichte bis ins 20. Jh. fort und zieht zur Illustration immer wieder Graffiti und Fundstücke heran. So entsteht ein lebendiges Bild der bedeutenden württembergischen Residenz.

This article addresses the symbolism of jewellery associated with love, engagement and the wedding ceremony. Rings frequently served such amorous purposes, as well as clasps, belts, wedding medals an the like. Motifs include, apart from the traditional heart, joined hands, love knots, love inscriptions, and far more. Examples derived from all over Europe, with emphasis on those from the Czech and Moravian area.

Background: Hypertension is defined as a medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is elevated exceeding 140/90mmHg. The elevation makes the heart work hard than usual to circulate blood through the blood vessels. Hypertension has been recorded as a major type of cardiovascular (CVD) disease, said to affect one billion people worldwide, predicted to increase to 1.56 billion by 2025 and claims the life of seven million annually. There were approximately 80 million adults with HTN in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) in 2000 and projections based on current epidemiological data suggest that this figure will rise to 150 million by 2025. In the past five years, hypertension prevalence in the Gambia was 275,857 people. The current data from the Health Management Information System (HMIS) showed that out of this number, 32.5% of them were males and 67.5% were females. According to the HMIS, the overall prevalence of HTN in the country was 15.3%. With this rate, there are still very few studies done on KAP regarding HTN prevention and control.
Objective: This study was conducted to determine the knowledge, attitude and practices of male adults in Brikama Nema towards hypertension prevention and control.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was used and data were collected from male adults in Brikama Nema. A multi-stage random sampling was used to get the eligible respondents of sample size 40.
Results: The majorities, 50% of the respondents were able to mention dizziness as one of the signs and symptoms of hypertension and only 2.5% of the respondents said fatigue. The result revealed that 80% of the participants said yes it is important to prevent oneself from HTN and the remaining 20% said it is not important to prevent oneself from HTN.  Conclusion and Recommendation: The overall results revealed that the participants’ knowledge is high and the attitude is also positive towards hypertension prevention and control. However, study subjects have poor practice towards HTN prevention and control..

The article features a description and characteristics of numismatic materials from Uvek settlement dating back to the Golden Horde period on the basis of the surviving archival materials. Uvek settlement represents the largest community in the northern part of the Lower Volga region. It is identified with the large Golden Horde town of Ukek, where coins were minted in the last third of 13th – early 14th centuries, and located on the southern outskirts of Saratov. The described complexes and individual coins have been registered and collected by Saratov Academic Archive Commission and Istarkhet Local History Society. They were eventually discarded and became unavailable for scientific research. However, the record book of the Museum of Saratov Academic Archival Commission, Commission's archives (their major portion is presently deposited in the State Archives of the Saratov region) and certain publications have preserved scarce, and in certain cases minimum information on the discovered coins. The authors attempted to summarize and systematize the information, providing a description of the numismatic materials (based on archival data) combined with references to the place and time of their discovery, the persons who provided individual coins, and documents in which they are mentioned. The available definitions of the coins are rather trustworthy, as the specialists of the Commission and Istarchet were such renowned scientists as A.A. Krotkov and B.V. Zaikovsky, who possessed a sufficient numismatic qualification. The coins mentioned in the annexed archival materials were apparently discovered at Uvek settlement in 1888–1921. The Juchid coins definitely originating from Uvek settlement and mentioned in archival materials correspond to the minting of 1310–1395.

The present work represents the first comprehensive survey of medieval jewellery located in museum depositories, galleries and archaeological institutions of South Moravia. Into the collection, the author has included items from 79 localities: 45 urban towns, 11 castles and 23 other locations (current and former villages and cultural sites).
The selection has been limited to the High Middle Ages, i.e. mainly to the 13th–15th centuries, possibly extending into older and younger periods. The core of the work is comprised of a catalogue of objects with drawings or photographic documentation accompanied by detailed descriptions. The catalogue of finds is fully available in electronic form in the Digital Library of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno.
In the analytical part of the thesis, the objects are evaluated in terms of typology and morphology, including comparisons with finds from other locations. This allows the jewellery to be set in contemporaneous context in terms of its functional, aesthetic and symbolic significance.

Daniel Schulz illuminates the history of one of the most important baroque castles in Germany in an unusual and vivid way. Based on historical graffiti, the construction period of the facility built in 1704-1733 comes to life, with the focus on the living environment of the craftsmen. But also a large part of the classical art history is honored. The author explains in detail the iconography, the decoration of the palace with sculptures and frescoes for Duke Eberhard Ludwig von Württemberg. To portray the history of the residence under King Frederick I in the early 19th century, Daniel Schulz turned to an unusual genre of sources: found objects such as letters, documents or items of clothing that were found under the floors. The author continued to write the history of the castle until the 20th century and used graffiti and found objects to illustrate it. This creates a vivid picture of the important Württemberg residence.

This study aims to evaluate the existing eye pathologies of immigrant patients due to visual impairment and to compare them with the local population. Materials and Methods: Between November 2018 and August 2019, a total of 150 participants among immigrants and 440 participants among local people were included in the study. Analysis of disease prevalence was calculated as a ratio of the total cohort screened with available data. The average, standard deviation, percentage, and minimum and maximum values of the data were calculated. Results: Of the 590 patients in the study, 440 were from the local population and 150 were immigrants comprising 90 Afghans and 60 Meskhetian Turks. The rate of the patients wearing glasses at presentation was higher in the local population than among the immigrant patients (p<0.001). The number of uncorrected refractive errors was significantly higher in immigrants than in the local population (p<0.001). The proportion of patients who stated that they had an eye examination for the 1st time was significantly higher among the immigrant patients (p<0.001). Infectious conjunctivitis, keratitis, and cataract were significantly higher among the Afghan patients (p<0.001). In the Afghan patients and local population, the history of ocular trauma was significantly higher compared to the Meskhetian Turks (p<0.001). In the Afghan patients, the presence of a corneal or conjunctival foreign body was significantly higher than in the other groups (p<0.001). Conclusion: Ocular disorders, such as cataracts and associated legal blindness, infectious eye diseases, and uncorrected refractive error can be seen more in immigrants. To remedy this situation, there are many steps that all of the countries must take for these individuals to access the necessary health care.

The “Caffa” Archaeological Expedition of the Institute of Archaeology named after A. Kh. Khalikov of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan has conducted systematic studies of the Golden Horde settlement of Majar since 2015. These works are carried out within the framework of the implementation of a state program of the Republic of Tatarstan “Preservation of the National Identity of the Tatar People (2014 – 2019)”. The article features a brief summary of the main results obtained during the three-year study of Majar.

In this paper, a path finding algorithm has been analyzed to find the shortest path between two point's even obstacles. A Path finding algorithm has been proposed for grid based graph, that finds the least cost path from a given initial node to goal node. The solutions for the path finding algorithm has been analyzed to find the shortest path between two points even with obstacles.

Engineering Mathematics which is one of the core subjects in civil engineering education is designed to equip civil engineering students with a strong mathematical knowledge for solving engineering problems in other courses such as fluid mechanics, soil mechanics, structural mechanics, transportation and highway engineering. The purposes of the present study are to report the findings from the assessment of students' learning outcomes in a mathematics test and to explore the issues related to the misconception and difficulties in the manipulation of the solutions. A total of 136 third year degree students were given a set of four questions related to probability and statistics in a test during the first semester of the academic year 2015-16. The answers provided by students were analysed with respect to their being correct, partial, wrong and void which yielded a general description of students' performance. It was found that only 35% of students could successfully use the integration by parts for evaluating the double integrals in probability related questions. 33% of students had a misconception about the complement of an event when they worked out the probability. In addition, only 38% of students could correctly use the logarithmic function and determine the maximum likelihood estimator from random samples. It was concluded that 60% of students faced with various levels of difficulty in the manipulation of the solutions.

The term "sign" has been used to describe various phenomena observed in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Discrepancies in the use of this term have been identified when it is used in context with COVID-19. The goals of this review are to provide an overview, describe signs, and clarify misconceptions regarding the use of these terms in COVID-19 patients. PubMed and Medline databases were searched using individual and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms, including coronavirus, COVID-19, and sign, in human studies within the English literature published from inception to December 31, 2020. Studies where the word "sign" was used in a context different from that for COVID-19 (e.g., sentinel sign) were excluded. Three hundred fifty-seven studies were potentially identified and after applying the exclusion criteria and further adjudication, 92 studies constituted the final data set. The majority of signs found in the COVID-19 literature have been applied and aptly described primarily in radiologic diseases of the chest. The term "sign," in other situations, is often misappropriated as it actually represents a physical finding rather than a sign. A total of 27 radiologic signs have been identified on chest computed tomography (CT) or high-resolution CT (HRCT), and 18 cutaneous signs (or findings) have been observed during the physical examination in COVID-19. Signs lack sufficient sensitivity or specificity by themselves; however, in the appropriate clinical setting, they should raise clinical suspicion for this infectious disease.

This study has been done to investigate the events of harassment happening in an engineering college in India. Here the pie chart has been used to analyze the data that we have obtained from engineering students. The places and different ways a student is being harassed is brought to light here. Based on the answers by the participants, suggestions or initiatives to be taken to reduce harassment is stated below.

This paper reports on older adult (65+) public transit users’ experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, a group more vulnerable to severe illness from the virus. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with public transit users in Hamilton, Ontario, results highlight inequalities between those with access to a car and those dependant on transit. Further, we examine the impact of the policies taken to reduce viral transmission on the City’s buses. For instance, boarding from back doors is physically strenuous for those with declining mobility. We conclude by stressing the importance of public transit, an essential service for many older adults.
