Pulmonary drug delivery is characterized by short onset times of the effects and an increased therapeutic ratio compared to oral drug delivery. This delivery route can be used for local as well as for systemic absorption applying drugs as single substance or as a fixed dose combination. Un gioco di ruolo o GDR è un gioco dove i giocatori assumono il ruolo di uno o più personaggi e tramite la conversazione e lo scambio dialettico creano uno spazio immaginato, dove avvengono fatti ed eventi fittizi. Dungeons and Dragons è il più famoso gioco di ruolo al mondo. I giocatori devono interpretare i loro personaggi come se fossero in un teatro d’improvvisazione, e le loro scelte influenzeranno il corso della storia e deciderà i loro destini. La bellezza dell’esperienza di D&D è quella di poter sviluppare la creatività, migliorare le relazioni sociali con altre persone e riuscire a fare una ricerca introspettiva di sé stessi e degli altri, oltre ad essere un momento di divertimento e condivisione. Ma ci sono anche degli aspetti che vanno a peggiorare l’esperienza di D&D, quali:
molti manuali pieni di regole e nozioni da imparare, a volte anche complesse;
impatto iniziale difficile per i principianti;
troppo materiale da portare alle sessioni di gioco;
sessioni di gioco a volte lente;
necessità di un aiuto per il DM;
mancanza di un supporto tecnologico ufficiale.

Alcuni di questi aspetti vengono risolti dalle piattaforme online. Queste permettono ai giocatori di avere una mappa digitale con miniature, molti strumenti per la gestione del gioco e una chat vocale con webcam per parlare con gli altri giocatori da remoto.
Ma nel corso del tempo non ci sono stati grandi miglioramenti e ancora adesso le interfacce sono datate e difficili da comprendere, in contrapposizione con il grande potenziale che potrebbe avere queste piattaforme per GDR. Inoltre molti pensano che possano togliere aspetti importanti dei giochi di ruolo, come la relazione diretta fra i giocatori e la qualità dell’improvvisazione teatrale.

Una tecnologia moderna e che sta portando una profonda rivoluzione nel nostro mondo è l’intelligenza artificiale. Questa aiuta già da tempo l’essere umano a svolgere attività quotidiane e lavorative più velocemente e in modo più efficace. Molti però sono ancora molto scettici riguardo all’IA. Ma non si può negare la sua forte espansione e rivoluzione nel nostro mondo. L’intelligenza artificiale possiede un ruolo cruciale perché riesce ad aiutare i giocatori nella creatività, nell’organizzazione e nell’immersività. L’unica paura che porta è la possibilità di togliere l’aspetto umano all’interno di un gioco di ruolo come D&D.

La sfida quindi di Dragontica è quella di creare una piattaforma online per i giocatori di ruolo che sia accessibile, utile e usabile, e che permetta un supporto di un’intelligenza artificiale di alto livello, senza non rinunciare a quegli elementi fondamentali dei giochi di ruolo come l’immersività, l’improvvisazione teatrale e la relazione diretta fra i giocatori.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly growing technological phenomenon that all industries wish to exploit to benefit from efficiency gains and cost reductions. At the macrolevel, AI appears to be capable of replacing humans by undertaking intelligent tasks that were once limited to the human mind. However, another school of thought suggests that instead of being a replacement for the human mind, AI can be used for intelligence augmentation (IA). Accordingly, our research seeks to address these different views, their implications, and potential risks in an age of increased artificial awareness. We show that the ultimate goal of humankind is to achieve IA through the exploitation of AI. Moreover, we articulate the urgent need for ethical frameworks that define how AI should be used to trigger the next level of IA.

El cebollín se encuentra dentro de la gama de plantas aromáticas exportadas desde Colombia al mercado internacional
el cual es muy exigente en términos de volumen y calidad. Para caracterizar el efecto de deficiencias
nutricionales de macroelementos en el crecimiento y desarrollo de las plantas, éstas fueron cultivadas bajo invernadero
en Bogotá en materas de plástico (2 L) con sustrato arena cuarcítica durante dos ciclos de producción
(primer corte a los 69 días después de la siembra, dds, y segundo a los 110 dds). Se evaluaron seis tratamientos;
comparándolos con el testigo (T0) con fertilización completa, generados a partir de una solución de Hoagland
y Arnon modificada: (T1) fertilización completa y N al 25%; (T2) fertilización completa –P; (T3) fertilización
completa –K; (T4) fertilización completa -Ca; (T5) fertilización completa –Mg y (T6) fertilización completa –S.
Se evaluaron las variables número, diámetro y longitud de hojas y masa seca (MS) de hojas y raíces. La nutrición
deficiente afectó especialmente el crecimiento y desarrollo del cebollín en el segundo ciclo de cultivo, en el cual
la carencia de P redujo drásticamente el diámetro y la longitud foliar, la acumulación de MS en hoja y raíz, y el
número de hojas en el primer ciclo. La concentración de N al 25% disminuyó significativamente el diámetro y la
longitud foliar durante el segundo ciclo de cultivo. La carencia de Mg aumentó el número y la biomasa de hojas
en el segundo corte por el incremento de N, P, Ca y S en la masa seca foliar de este tratamiento. Los síntomas
más comunes fueron la clorosis de las hojas con puntas amarillas hasta necróticas.

Se evaluaron la eficacia y los métodos de aplicación de varios insecticidas para combatir el picudo negro del plátano (Cosmopolites sordidus Germar) en tres experimentos realizados en Corozal. En el primer experimento Nemacur 15G3 a razón de 14, 28 y 42 g. por planta cada 6 meses, Temik 10G (28 g.), Dyfonate 10G (56 g.) y Furadan 10G (56 g.) fueron altamente efectivos a base de los rendimientos de frutas por acre, en la reducción del número de perforaciones y en la protección de más del 90% de las plantas para el retoño. El análisis de los datos del retoño reveló que Nemacur 15G (a tres dosis), Temik 10G, Dyfonate I 0G y Furadan 10G (dos dosis) redujeron significativamente el daño del picudo negro y propiciaron altos rendimientos. El segundo experimento se estableció para evaluar la eficacia de los tratamientos en la semilla antes de sembrarla y los tratamientos con insecticides granulados al momento de la siembra y 6 meses después.
