Nostradamus

Par une analyse lexicale systématique il est possible de reconnaître dans l’œuvre de Nostradamus plusieurs éléments sémiologiques appartenant au registre d’un syndrome obsessionnel associé au domaine autistique. Une étude comparative des Prophéties avec sa Lettre XLI permet aussi de confirmer que cette œuvre est celle d’un personnage mystique souffrant de singularités psycho-linguistiques ayant rendu son expression incompréhensible pendant longtemps. Mais l’exploitation des dernières connaissances scientifiques en neuro-psychiatrie appliquée aux domaines littéraire, historique et religieux autorise maintenant une bien meilleure intelligibilité des obscurités nostradamiennes. Refuser d’emprunter ce chemin escarpé conduit aussi à préfèrer la magie à la science, l’illusion au raisonnement critique et l’erreur à la pertinence. L’auteur démontre aussi que le médecin apothicaire, ayant lui-même déclaré souffrir de comitialité, laisse supposer avoir eu recours à une pharmacopée anxiolytique encore inconnue pour calmer ses troubles obsessionnels avivés par les turbulences d’une époque violemment agitée. Concernant l’astrologie, il appert que l’expression littéraire de cette Lettre adressée à un ami alchimiste s’accorde précisément avec une sémantique allégorique obsessionnelle, et non pas avec un délire matérialiste et profane. Éprouvant l’infernale désunion du lien social spirituel, l’enfant de marranes pronostiquait son évolution selon un schéma déjà scénarisé depuis l’Antiquité par les historiens et les philosophes. De tout cela il apparaît également que les quatrains excessivement redondants des Prophéties n’ont recyclé qu’un très petit nombre de prédictions publiées antérieurement par des auteurs déjà connus.

Il s'agit dans cet article de remonter l’histoire radiophonique des « montreurs d’avenir » - c’est-à-dire l’histoire de la médiatisation des « montreurs d’avenir » (médiums, taratologues, géomanciens, chiromanciens, astrologues, voyants, devins, futurologues, prophètes, prospectivistes, augures, oracles, diseurs de bonne aventure, shamans…) - pour montrer que l’« avenir » n’appartient ni au passé – les soi-disant temps obscurs moyenâgeux - ni à l’ailleurs - les soi-disant peuples non occidentalisés – mais qu’il cohabite bien, sans conflit majeur, avec la « modernité » ou « postmodernité » médiatique.

People are less inclined to know past then absorb present but much interested in knowing future. Humans have always yearned to know what the future has in store for us. Everyone wants a glimpse of the cosmic plan to see where the destiny lies.

Pi (π) sayısının içinde her şey var olabilir mi? Doğum tarihiniz, hatta ölüm tarihiniz bile, hatta Kıyametin tarihi. Peki, ya bunu birileri çok önceden biliyor olsaydı ve bir yere kodlamış olsalardı?

Ortaçağ'da, Amerika'yı Kolomb'dan önce bir başkası keşfetmiş olabilir miydi? Peki, ya bu gizemli kişi gerçekte yeteneğini saklamak zorunda olan büyük bir Kahinse ve oraya gitme amacı yeni bir kıta keşfetmek değil de; dünyanın en büyük sırlarından birini, bir Maya piramidindeki Kıyamet'in ne zaman geleceğini açıklayan bir Maya Kehanet takviminin sırrını çözmek olursa ne olurdu?

Mayalar, Kıyamet tarihini aslında 13.0.0.0.0 Baktun olarak hesapladılar ve bunu dev bir takvime kodladılar. Peki, gerçekte bu ne demekti? 13 Baktun, aslında Matematikte de usta olan Mayaların Pi (π) sayısı içine Kıyamet'in gerçek tarihini yerleştirdikleri dev bir koddu ve 2012 değil, daha ileri bir tarihi gösteriyordu. Mayalar bu bilgileri kendileri mi bulmuştu, yoksa kendilerinden çok daha ileri, 'Atlantis' denilen kayıp bir uygarlıktan mı almışlardı?

Kahin Bruno, tüm bunların tesadüf olamayacağını 22 yıllık çalışmasının sonunda anlamış ve artık tüm taşlar yerine oturmak üzereydi. "Her şeyin sonu geldi, artık geri dönemeyiz, artık çok geç!" dedi kendi kendine ve tapınağın lahit kapağını kaldırıp iç içe geçmiş üç büyük taş diskin sonuncusunu da yerine yerleştirdi. Artık herşey hazırdı, çözülmesi imkansız olan Maya Takvimi'nde saklı insanlık tarihinin bu en büyük sırrını, Pi sayısı içindeki saklı kodu hesaplayarak gerçekte 13 Baktun'un hangi tarihe denk geldiğini bulmak üzereydi:

  13 Baktun: 13,3333 × 366,6666 (gün) = 4903. kod

  Pi sayısının 4903. Rakamı:

  2222 yılına denk geliyordu.

1500 yılında, Güney İspanya'daki Granada yakınlarındaki bir çiftlik evinde, karanlık bir gecede, bıraktığı notlarda kendisine 'Yabancı' diyen gri renkli 1 metre boyundaki dünya-dışı insanımsı bir yaratık; dünyanın geleceğiyle ilgili bir dizi kehaneti içeren iki mektup ve üzerinde bir yer işaretlenmiş gizemli bir harita ile bazı şifreli karmaşık sayılardan oluşan ve geleceğe ait tarihler yazan, 100 adet rakamdan oluşan dev bir tablo ile kapının önünde duruyor, büyük siyah gözleriyle Bruno'ya doğru bakıyordu. Aslında, dev bir 'Anagram' olan bu sayı tablosu, 3.14 …’le başlayan ve sonsuza doğru uzanıp giden, içinde dünyadaki olayların tarihlerinin kodlandığı dev bir spiralin küçük bir parçasıydı.

On February 28, 2013, Pope Benedict XVI stepped down from the papacy. On March 13 of the same year a new pope was elected in his place and took the name “Francis.” The present paper analyzes the medievalizing and medieval-associated interpretations to which these two tightly intertwined events are commonly subjected.

In this essay, I plan to analyse the phenomenon whereupon Finnegans Wake demonstrates the apparent ability to "foretell" future events outside of the book's compositional timeframe. This is research prompted by contemporary online interest by Joyce scholars upon how references to contemporary events seem to appear throughout the book in a rather "spooky" manner. This firstly requires analysis of how different approaches to reading Finnegans Wake facilitate such interpretations. This text is, therefore, a study of attitudes regarding what may be considered a "right" or "wrong" way of reading the novel within the wider Joycean community. The reading approaches are categorised into "types" which each have idiosyncratic characteristics and even subtypes that split them up even further. It is important to note the distinctions between all of these if we are to evaluate successfully the multiple ways in which readers may search for "prophecies" in Finnegans Wake. Information will be gathered from the respective reading "types" and the "prophetic" findings which they have collectively made ranging from interpretations that are actually considered "true"-by conspiracy theorists, for instance-to those that are knowingly "false" but are enjoyed and employed by their readers for multiple reasons and purposes. The figure of Donald J. Trump is used throughout this essay since in recent years he has attained focused, collective attention by the "prophetic" readers of Finnegans Wake throughout his term as U.S President. This phenomenon of "Trump watching" in Finnegans Wake reached its apex in November 2020 when readers, who mainly congregated online, began finding remarkable "allusions" to Trump and the Presidential election which were added to on a daily basis as the events played out, all the way through to his eventual defeat and subsequent efforts to fight the results in court. The COVID-19 outbreak, the spread of fake news though social media, and the growing mistrust of science were 2020-centered topics that "prophetic" readers also detected throughout this year, demonstrating that Finnegans Wake has a continually renewing list of so-called "references" within it to fit the timeframe of whatever is current.

Un fait-divers tragique (deux morts en juin 1762)  : la quête d'un trésor (dans le sous-sol d'une maison à Barre-des-Cévennes) qui, au fil du temps, se transforme en légende, celle de la chèvre d'or.
Comment un fait-divers local, la mort d'un chercheur de trésor, renoue avec la légende de la chèvre d'or ? A moins que cela ne soit l'inverse : comment l'antique thème d'un animal à la toison d'or a-t-il conduit un habitant à chercher un trésor dans la cave de sa maison ?
ou encore : comment la légende rejoint la réalité ou la réalité la légende ?

Less is more. No doubt about it. Life teaches us many lessons and we are at times its reluctant, at times its all the more avid and enthusiastic students. What we may have thought was more is now suddenly less. Only recently there was more hype, more action, more wealth and more consistent money-making, more showing off to the extent that others less fortunate than ourselves ended up being marginalised, relegated to the sidelines, to living in the shadows of those born into a life of wealth and luxury and who basked in the glory of their own status, possessions and achievements.

The Great Fire of London is now very much in the news on this its 350th anniversry. This note points to a number of peculiarities linked to that dire event. On was it so dire in every respect?
