    Teaching Competencies – Planets Lesson

    In this lesson I reached the teaching competencies that I worked in during my


    lesson.

     Interacting Well with Students. Educators must be able to positively interact with all
    students.
    - I had a good respond from the students while I was teaching, their participation
    was good they were happy, and they liked the lesson, and they liked the activities.
     Creating a Learning Environment.
    - To make sure the lesson be productive and to provide a good learning
    environment I make sure to read the classroom rules before we start the lesson
    and I encourage the students to raise their hands when they want to answer
    because I think of the class, I will get points for the students to follow the rules.
     Good at Lesson Plan Design
    - To plan a good lesson, I always share my lesson plan and my presentation with
    MST, and are you was Nearpod website to present my lesson to make sure the
    students are engaging with me and having fun while learning anything Nearpod is
    very creative website that serve learning and fun at the same time.
     Able to Use Varied Teaching Strategies.
    - In this lesson I tried to have cooperative learning lesson, also differentiation in the
    class and activities as well as using technology in the class like our example
    opening Nearpod by themselves and trying to listen behavior management was
    one of the main points I should manage their behavior so they can have a good
    lesson, and everyone will benefit from the lesson.
     Able to Assess.
    - Using your part wasn’t as hard as I thought, however I need a PowerPoint to show
    the students how they can join, so at the beginning of the class I taught the
    students how to copy the link to join or and to write the code and trying to listen
    and the students wasn’t having any problem with that.
     Able to Identify Student Needs.
    - I was always making sure that I can cover all the needs in my class so I choose the
    students who I want to answer so I can check their understanding after each
    chapter of the lesson I asked the students if they have any question about this and
    they have question I happily answer them and explain the point that they must
    understand, or they need help with.
     Good at Communication.
    - My communication with my students and my relationship with them was really
    amazing I always communicate but then during the lesson and after the lesson I
    asked them they have any questions I tried to make conversation with them at the
    beginning of the class while we wait for other students, they were very friendly.
