    Remove the OEM shock absorber as per
    vehicle service manual.

    When installing the top mount clevis make sure it is
    oriented as in the mounting diagram below.

    Install the Öhlins shock absorber by


    tightening the top and bottom mounting points
    at the torque value as specification in the
    vehicle service manual.

    Before riding, always make sure that the basic settings
    made by Öhlins are according to recommended Compression
    Set-up Data. Read about adjustments and setting up Adjuster
    in the Öhlins Owner’s Manual before you make any
    adjustments. Contact an Öhlins dealer if you have any
    questions about setting up.
