Warning signs of suicide attempt
• Talking about death or suicide
• Saying that they are a burden 
• withdrawing from friends and family
• Losing interest in activities
• Extreme mood swings
• Saying goodbye to family and friends
Prevention
• Look at suicide as a cry for help
• Be a good listener
• Encourage them to get help for their
depression
• Don't be afraid to ask about their
suicidal feelings
•If they are in danger,
don't leave them alone

•Encourage them to see a

never feel that it is your fault

• Let the abuser know how hurtful their


words are.

• Take threats seriously
• Develop a safety plan
• Don’t communicate 
• Keep evidence of the stalking
• Contact the police
• Tell family, friends, roommates, and co-
workers about the stalking and seek their
support.
Prevention:
• Do not answer if you receive a message.
• Report the incident to the authorities
• Avoid putting personal information on social
networks that could be used by criminals to
convince loved ones of your identity.
• Maintain a separate messaging system used
ONLY by loved ones that can be used in
emergency situations to identify the where
abouts of each member.
Prevention:
• Find alternative routes
• Do not accept rides offered by strangers
• Secure your home
• Let someone know where you're going
• Tell your child to never talk to strangers
• Defense arm yourself with self weapons
• Watch your drink.
