Content Standards: the learner demonstrate understanding of the concepts


and principles of safety education in the prevention of
Intentional injuries

Performance Standards: the learner consistently demonstrate resilience, vigilance


and proactive to prevent intentional injuries.

Learning Competency: (H9IS-IVa-d- 32) describes the types of Intentional injuries.

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the session, the students are expected to:

a. Identify the different types of intentional injuries.


b. Appreciate the importance of preventing and controlling intentional injuries
c. Make a slogan on how to prevent and control intentional injury.

I. Subject matter:
Topic: Types and prevention of intentional Injuries
Reference: Physical Education and Health 9 (Learners Material, Page)
Materials : Projector, laptop, construction paper, marker, cartolina
and flash card.
Method: 4A’s Teaching Approach

and enumerate ways on how to
prevent it .
 You will be given 5 minutes to
finish the task.

C. Analysis

Activity: “Stepping-up Game”


Direction:
 Need of 4 student participant.
 They have to compete in
answering first the questions
given by extending their right
hand.
 The one who got the first right
answer will need to step up.
 The first student who reaches the
step 5 will be the winner.
