Pot experiments were conducted during T. aman 2001 and 2002 (wet season) at Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) in net house. Hybrid variety Sonarbangla-1 and inbred modern variety BRRI dhan-31 were used in both the seasons and BRRI hybrid dhan-l was used in 2002. The main objective of the experiments was to compare the growth and yield behaviour of hybrid and inbred rice varieties under controlled condition. In 2001, BRRI dhan-3l had about 10-15% higher plant height, very similar tillers/plant, 15-25% higher leaf area at all days after transplanting (DAT) compared to Sonarbangla-1. Sonarbangla- 1 had about 40% higher dry matter production at 25 DAT but had very similar dry matter production at 50 and 75 DAT, 4-11% higher rooting depth at all DATs, about 22% higher root dry weight at 25 DAT, but 5-10% lower root dry weight at 50 and 75 DAT compared to BRRI dhan-31. Penjajaran sekuen merupakan hal yang fundamental dalam bioinformatika. Penjajaran sekuen dapat menganalisis sekuen. Penjajaran sekuen menggunakan pemograman dinamis yang memiliki kompleksitas O(mn) yang mana m dan n adalah panjang sekuen sehingga penjajaran sekuen untuk sekuen yang panjang membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Penjajaran sekuen secara paralel dapat mempercepat proses penjajaran. Penjajaran paralel untuk mengimplementasikannya dibutuhkan skema partisi salah satunya adalah rowwise dan columnwise. GPU memiliki kernel yang berisi multi threaded dan dapat mengelola grafis dan aritmatika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan algoritme global pairwise alignment pada paralel graphic processing unit dengan skema partisi data rowwise dan columnwise. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahapan, tahapan pertama melakukan penjajaran global dengan algoritme Needleman-Wunsch, tahapan kedua melakukan paralel dengan skema rowwise dan ketiga adalah analisis. Skema rowwise dengan menggunakan cuda memiliki speed-up tertinggi sebesar 4.86 kali, sedangkan skema columnwise memiliki speed-up tertinggi sebesar 6,67 kali. Sequences alignment in a parallel environment can speed up the process of alignment. Sequence alignment in parallel environment need partitioning scheme to implement, one of them is rowwise. The use of GPU is faster than the CPU as the GPU has a kernel that contains multi-threaded. GPU CUDA is a technology that can manage graphics and arithmetic. The aim of this study is to apply global pairwise alignment algorithm in parallel graphics processing unit with a data partitioning scheme rowwise. This study was divided into three stages, the first stage perform global alignment with the Needleman-Wunsch algorithm, the second stage did rowwise parallel with the scheme and the third is the analysis. Schemes rowwise using CUDA has the highest speedup of 4.86 times.

Data Center sebagai pusat operasional seluruh sistem aplikasi dan sentral sistem jaringan komunikasi data, harus dapat memenuhi seluruh kegiatan operasional Teknologi Informasi & Komunikasi (TIK). Meningkatnya jumlah aplikasi serta layanan TIK pada instansi XYZ menyebabkan permasalahan pada Data Center saat ini. Permasalahan yang ada salah satunya adalah adanya beberapa gangguan terhadap aplikasi dan layanan TIK. Gangguan-gangguan tersebut biasa disebut insiden. Insiden-insiden yang berulang menyebabkan problem yang acapkali perlu waktu untuk menyelesaikannya serta diperlukan root cause analysis (RCA) yang menyeluruh agar insiden-insiden tersebut tidak berulang. Dengan permasalahan yang ada pada Data Center saat ini, instansi XYZ akan melakukan proyek pengembangan Data Center yang di dalamnya memiliki prasyarat-prasyarat untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada saat ini. Dalam kegiatan proyek pengembangan Data Center ini, diperlukan proses tahapan manajemen risiko untuk dapat mengidentifikasi risiko yang akan dihadapi, proses pengendalian risiko dan strategi-strategi untuk proses mitigasi risiko yang ada. Dalam penyusunan manajemen risiko proyek pengembangan Data Center ini menggunakan kerangka kerja ISO 31000:2009.
