A wide-ranging, academically oriented list of over sixty forthcoming publications on the Pastoral Epistles (as of April 2022) including essays, monographs, and commentaries. This list helps students of the Pastorals to see current trends in research. The list was compiled mainly through contacting academic publishers and Pastorals scholars who have published previously on the letters. In some cases, authors provided a brief synopsis of their work specifically for this project.

After an effort of many years, I have prepared a comprehensive timeline of UFO history that will be useful to UFO researchers and historians. “UFOs and Intelligence” is an up-to-date retrospective of UFO history (from Agobard of Lyons to the newly appointed US investigation agency UAPTF), intertwined with events in US and world history concerning military and civilian intelligence agencies and the cult of secrecy. It is now 679 pages and more than 555,000 words (including a substantial “Sources and Further Reading” appendix). Readers will discover or rediscover many events, people, and UFO cases they may not be familiar with. Some will find it useful for current or planned research projects. Military cases, those involving commercial aircraft, close encounters involving physical traces and other evidence, reports involving occupants or entities, and events surrounding military and sensitive nuclear sites are emphasized, but this timeline covers the full spectrum of UFO history, from contactee experiences to misidentifications of mundane phenomena and notorious hoaxes. Links to online sources are given, and links to biographical information are provided when available. A timeline like this allows us to view events from a different perspective, letting us make connections we might not otherwise see. It forces us to view the big picture, amid the grand flow of UFO cases, military security decisions, a vast swathe of personalities, and world history.

Almost 75 years after the initial publication of Theodor Nöldeke's Geschichte des Qorâns, Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Zanjānī (1892–1941), an Iranian religious scholar, made a brief reference in the final chapter of his Tārīkh al-Qurʾān to an edition of Nöldeke's work revised by Schwally, Bergsträsser and Pretzl. He described Nöldeke as a great scholar and his Geschichte des Qorâns as a valuable contribution. Al-Zanjānī’s work also included an outline of Nöldeke's discussion on the order of the revelation of the suras. It is probably safe to say that al-Zanjānī’s book is the first independent work on the history of the Qur'an by a Muslim scholar. This fact leads one to wonder about the apparent lack of previous interest in the historiography of the Qur'an among Islamic scholarship. This paper aims to provide a bibliometric analysis of publication trends on the themes of biomass and bioenergy worldwide. A wide range of studies have been performed in the field of the usage of biomass for energy production, in order to contribute to the green transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies. Over the past 20 years (from 2000 to 2019), approximately 10,000 articles have been published in the "Agricultural and Biological Sciences" field on this theme, covering all stages of production-from the harvesting of crops to the particular type of energy produced. Articles were obtained from the SCOPUS database and examined with a text mining tool in order to analyze publication trends over the last two decades. Publications per year in the bioenergy theme have grown from 91 in 2000 to 773 in 2019. In particular the analyses showed how environmental aspects have increased their importance (from 7.3% to 11.8%), along with studies related to crop conditions (from 10.4% to 18.6%). Regarding the use of energy produced, growing trends were recognized for the impact of biofuels (mentions moved from 0.14 times per article in 2000 to 0.38 in 2019) and biogases (from 0.14 to 0.42 mentions). Environmental objectives have guided the interest of researchers, encouraging studies on biomass sources and the optimal use of the energy produced. This analysis aims to describe the research evolution, providing an analysis that can be helpful to predict future scenarios and participation among stakeholders in the sector.

The impact that volcanic eruptions may have upon environments far from the volcanic source is conventionally assumed to depend on climatic modification by emitted gases. However, recent research has suggested that the damage caused by the direct impact of volcanic gases, mainly H 2SO 4, may be profound. This paper highlights the severity of this mechanism by reference to human sickness and death in France and contiguous with the eruption of the Laki fissure in Iceland in 1783. This work demonstrates the gains which may be made by interdisciplinary teams of researchers and illustrates the valuable knowledge that remains to be revealed by further research in the French historical record. Les ouvrages en français sur les Philippines sont réputés à tort peu nombreux. Ayant subi les influences espagnole et américaine pendant une longue période, les îles Philippines ont naturellement suscité une profusion d'écrits, mais surtout en anglais et en espagnol. Les travaux en français existent cependant, en nombre, mais restaient jusqu’ici mal connus et peu répertoriés. Compilée par Bernard Pot, la présente bibliographie comporte plus de mille six cents références, de l’alimentation à la linguistique, en passant par l’histoire, la littérature, le récit de voyage et l’érotisme.

L'AUTEUR
Bernard Pot est ethnologue et historien. Membre associé de l’Institut de Recherche sur le Sud-Est asiatique (UMR 6571, CNRS et Université de Provence, Marseille), ancien président de l’Association culturelle franco-philippine, chevalier de l’Ordre de Rizal, il poursuit depuis vingt ans des recherches sur les Philippines dont cette bibliographie est l’un des résultats.

Статья представляет собой первый опыт творческой биографии Б.А. Зубарева (1934—2015), юриста по образованию и художника по призванию. Создававший еще в молодости новаторские, но недооцененные современными учеными исследования, он в последний период своего творчества занимался краеведением Брянщины, создавая на основе архивного материала многочисленные библиографические росписи на разные темы.
Главной из них стала «Брянская хроника 1917—1918 гг.» Одним из разработанных им самостоятельно исследовательских инструментов явилось составление частотных словарей, позволявших обнаруживать скрытый от внешнего глаза подтекст. К сожалению, его труды остаются в значительной мере непрочитанными и невостребованными.

Conclusions.
1.In the paper, a method is described in detail that can
be applied when the researcher want to find out whether a certain
chemical can produce toxic effects on living organisms exemplified
by higher plants.
2.The method described in the paper is completely
compatible with the requirements of bioethics.
3.The method can be applied for testing both chemicals and
environmental samples.
4. The new confirmation of validity and applicability of the
method described was made in the authors experiments with an
emerging chemical pollutant, namely “Blue-Moon” Liquid Hand
Soap (BMLHS).

This paper is authored by three healthcare workers, two of whom are researchers and a scientist and a healthcare professor, who are senior lecturers at a university. Therefore, the article is mainly based on health practitioners because of the nature of the writers. The current paper contains the results of systematic research into Boletaceae s.l. (excluding Boletus L.) in Montenegro; 39 species and 1 variety belonging to 12 genera are presented. For each species, the published and unpublished sources of data are provided, in addition to the collections where the materials were deposited. The genus Aureoboletus Pouzar and the taxa Aureoboletus gentilis (Quel.) Pouzar, Leccinum duriusculum (Schulzer ex Kalchbr.) Singer, and Leccinum piceinum Pilat & Dermek are reported for the first time for the territory of Montenegro. This bibliography comprises 1895 titles of books (poetry, prose, drama and anthologies) translated in more than 30 languages. These translations represent over 800 Greek writers from late Byzantine times to 1985. It was prompted by the exhibition titled “Greek Authors in translation” held in January 1986 as one of the events celebrating “Athens the cultural Capital of Europe”. Although several analogous bibliographies followed this book, it is the first (and remains the only) attempt to include all languages. Its aim is to function as a basic source of information in the study of Modern Greek Literature abroad.

This research was intended to find out the empirical evidence of the students’ achievement by using reading corner media in improving students vocabulary grade XI MAN Binjai. This research was quantitative research. The population of this research was the students in grade XI MAN Binjai. The sample of this research were taken from 25 students of experimental group (XI-MIA 1) and 25 students of control group (XI-MIA 2). The instrument for collecting data was a test. After analyzed the data, the writer got; (1) The students improvement in vocabulary by using reading corner media got the mean 91.80 and standard deviation was 6.60. (2) The students improvement in vocabulary without using reading corner media got the mean 76,20 and standard deviation was 8.33.  The value of t test was 7.344 and t table was 2.011. So, the t test was higher than t table . It means that there was significant effect of using Reading Corner Media on students’  improvement in vocabulary. Keywords: Reading Corn...

Since its second issue in November 1969, Kivung (rebranded as Language & Linguistics in Melanesia - LLM in 1981) has come to be a repository for writing about the languages of Melanesia and a reflection of the many interests of members of the Linguistic Society of Papua New Guinea. In this repository, there are many articles on Tok Pisin, the most widely spoken language in Papua New Guinea.

While all of the issues of Kivung / Language & Linguistics in Melanesia are online, and there is much valuable research on Tok Pisin and languages related to it, it is not always easy to sift through the many volumes of the journal to search out what is needed. Nor is it easy to see immediately where researchers have been particularly active over the years (e.g., education and sociolinguistics) and which areas have been neglected (e.g., phonology and syntax).

In an effort to stimulate further research into Tok Pisin (and to organise my own research a bit better!), I have put together the following bibliography of articles related to Tok Pisin and its closely related languages (Solomon’s Pijin, Bislama, Torres Strait Creole, and PNG English), from the earliest issues of Kivung to the 2020 issue of Language & Linguistics in Melanesia. The articles have been arranged in three lists: by topics, by chronological order, and by authors' names.

Para la consecución de este work in progress, sus autores, Joan Mahiques y Helena Rovira, han contado con el apoyo institucional y económico del Institut d’Estudis Catalans, que entre otras cosas ha proporcionado un soporte digital creado a medida y supervisado por Santi Muxach. Aparte de exponer qué criterios metodológicos que limitan este corpus de textos en lo referente a la cronología, soporte material, etc., se describen las posibilidades de su motor de búsqueda y los materiales han sido vertidos hasta el momento.
