Abstract: - Education is an engine for the growth and progress of any society. It not only imparts knowledge, skills and inculcates values, but is also responsible for building human capital which breeds, drives and sets technological innovation and economic growth. English, the official language of the entire world is a very tricky language to teach. In fact every language varies to teach. English Language Teaching is now at a crucial juncture as a number of methods, approaches and innovations have been discussed in series of seminars and conferences arranged at various colleges and universities in India. There are four skills of language learning i.e Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking and to fulfill these skills one has to take constant and arduous efforts until the goal is achieved. The present paper is aimed at to find out certain problem and solution in teaching English at college level. Though some of the problems are discussed here, the main intention is to provide certain clues for better teaching –learning process.

This paper sought to establish the effect of user perception on use of online digital platforms in Kenya with evidence from e-citizen platform in Kenya. This paper conducted a desktop analysis of published papers on user perceptions and the adoption of e-citizen platforms in Kenya. The results revealed that user perception has a significant effect on the adoption and use of online digital platforms. The findings further showed that in various ways that user perceptions especially on digital platforms security and privacy, usefulness, ease of use, complexity, speed, efficiency, and affordability among others significantly influenced the adoption and use of e-citizen platforms in Kenya. There is a need for awareness campaigns among the target users. Cyber and its related technologies such as Internet was introduced to the world only in late 1980s, and today it is unimaginable to think of a life without these all pervasive technologies. Despite being ubiquitous around the world, cyber technology is still seen as an enigma by many, mainly due to its rapid development and high level of science involved with it. In addition to the existing complexities of the technology, the level of threat matrix surrounding the cyber domain further lead to various misconceptions and exaggerations apart from elevating the complexity to a few notches above. It is evident that the world in the future is going to be fully dependent on the cyber technology and hence humans are forced to understand this complex domain in order to survive and evolve successfully as 'technological' beings. It is in this context of understanding the enigma around the cyber domain, the book attempts to analyse and disentangle the various issues related to cyber technology. The book also attempts to unravel the various threats that terrorise the cyber world in detail by categorising them according to the perpetrators. The book aims to decrypt the cyber domain and at the same time exhibit the realities in terms of the threat vector, technological sophistication and the rapid development of the domain itself. The book also tries to present the existing reality of cyber environment in India and charts out a few recommendations and suggestions for enhancing the country's cyber security architecture. The eight chapters of the book attempts to decipher the cyber world through detailed analysis of the various issues like hacking, dark web, cyber enabled terrorism, covert cyber capabilities of countries like the US and China apart from studying the cyber environment of India.

In the last two decades, the digital space has experienced significant transformations. A key development or advancement that has been witnessed in the digital setting is the Internet of Things (IoT). According to Vermesan & Friess (2013), IoT refers to a system of interrelated and inter-connected computer-based objects that collect, store and share data over a wireless network. For instance, social media platforms are some examples of IoT. Other examples of IoT include; smart home security systems, smart factory equipment, wireless inventory trackers, and connected appliances both at home or the workplace. In other words, IoT can be described as the basic interplay between software and computers to promote information sharing.

The alternative (adequate) dispute resolution movement (ADR) was developed with the purpose of broadening the access to justice. The idea was to promote cheaper and faster options to solve conflicts compared to the judicial process, offering a multidoor justice. In the digital era, where the sense of time and space has been shortened, technology was also brought to ADR, and mechanisms of online dispute resolution (ODR) were created. Recently, in Brazil, the Brazilian National Consumer Secretariat (SENACON)  developed an online platform, named “Consumidor.gov”, as an extra door for consumers to solve their problems. The idea is to provide a public space for private settlement, in order to encourage competitiveness in the market by improving the quality of products and customer service. The companies have ten days to answer the consumer complaint and the platform creates a database with the results of the settlement (solved/not solved), and a satisfaction rank.  The last report points to an 80% success rate leading to, among other factors, the signature, in 20th May 2019, of a technical cooperation agreement to incorporate the ODR mechanism “Consumidor.gov” to the electronic platform of judicial process (PJe).  Some important questions rise from this initiative. Does the platform promote the expansion of access to justice as a dispute resolution and dispute prevention tool? Since the private settlement was brought to a public sphere, is it necessary to be attentive to power imbalance between the parties? In this sense, is it necessary to guarantee a minimum standard of due process rights? Can the incorporation of the platform to the judicial process flow turn it into a mandatory prior condition to access the courts? These are the questions this paper wants to clarify.
