Internship Reports

This report is aimed at explaining key areas of my training under the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) undertaken at the Robotics and Control Lab., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. An extensive and comprehensive practical was carried out on Microcontrollers and the means by which they may be used and applied, specifically in computer-integrated scenarios, robotics and industrial automations; utilizing Android phone sensors for enhanced control. The training was very enlightening and exposed students to real life practices that are used in developing theoretical ideas. So much experience was gained in these areas because they blend well with what was taught in classrooms and very much relevant to my future career as an Industrial Control/ Automation Engineer.

In-plant training is one of the requirements for the award of the Degree in Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering of Maharashtra Institute of Technology. As such, students are required to write and submit reports at the end of their training.
This report is the record of the work I personally did and experience I gained during my in-plant training at Varroc Engineering Ltd. Plant- VII (valve) from 4th Jan to 16th May 2018.
It consists of six chapters which altogether explain the background of training, entail background information about Varroc Engineering Ltd., Manufacturing processes, Inspection and Testing, the hands-on activities which I took part in and about the project I did on tooling cost reduction by optimizing the design of bottom die holder.

This is an internship report regarding the Marketing Department of Pak Elektron Limited PEL. It starts with an introduction about PEL followed by the history of PEL. It gives a briefing about all the brand. There is a briefing about the internship project that was assigned during the required internship to me.

This is a report on my six-credit internship course MSJ-498 and MSJ-499 under the school of Media Studies and Journalism, ULAB. Also, it is to fulfilling the Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.S) program.

It is not a daily report but a brief of my practical experience and professional orientation during my internship period.

This is my internship report that I have completed for the partial requirement of my MBA degree. This report is thoroughly monitored and supervised by Md. Mahmudul Huq sir. I have created this report based on my internship at Southeast Bank Ltd (14th February - 12th May 2022). This report is based on foreign exchange, foreign trade, imports, exports, analyses, remittances, etc.

This report is an individual assignment as a part of the internship program under the BBA curriculum of IUBAT. The primary objective of this report is to know what marketing strategy Jamuna Bank is following and how they are promoting their products to the customers.
The internship program helped me to learn about the current situation of a financial institution. I have also implemented my theoretical knowledge into practical and realistic work environment.
Banks have a unique challenge when it comes to marketing because they do not offer tangible products for consumers. Promoting a bank requires convincing consumers to trust a bank with their money and make customers feel like they are getting the most value for their money. Once customers invest with a bank, the bank must work to keep customers and get them to buy-in to additional products.
Banking industry in Bangladesh up to now is leading the financial system. All of the banks in Bangladesh are introducing new and new products to meet the dimensional demands of customers. But only adoption of new products is not sufficient. Customers should get the proper information about the products. For this Banks are now emphasizing on proper marketing strategy. And of course in this aspect they are applying different promotion mix.
This is a descriptive research designed to evaluate the advertisement and promotion strategy of Jamuna Bank Limited based on observed facts and figures. This report “Advertisement and Promotion strategy of Jamuna Bank Ltd.” is the picture of marketing and promotion strategies used by one of the well-known private commercial bank of Bangladesh Jamuna Bank Limited. The study covers the following sections:

 Brief discussion about Jamuna Bank Limited (JBL)
 Advertisement strategy followed by Jamuna Bank Limited
 Promotional strategies and activities performed by Jamuna Bank Ltd.
 Evaluation of current strategies.
 Findings & Recommendations.

Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited is a relatively new emerging bank and it is trying to get market share in the presence of national and foreign banks operating in the country. It has played an important role in boosting the economy of the country but there always exists some room for improvement.
From the previous analysis of the financial statements, I have realized that that Al – Baraka Islamic Bank is performing very well since its inception and before acquiring of Emirates Global Islamic Bank. However, nothing is perfect; there is always a room for improvement.
As the business and economic conditions remain uncertain, Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited is constantly developing and offering new products to cater the needs of its current and as well as potential customers. It is continuing to make efforts for refining its products and services to make them more compatible.

The two-week work at the ICICI Sri Lanka has been particularly enriching and educational. The report elaborates the working practices learnt at the RPC, Treasury, Finance and Trade departments at the internship. It is followed by a Financial analysis of the bank coupled with a few suggestions from the point-of-view of an intern.
The work experience section would list out basics of the mentioned depts. and the Financial Analysis section would discuss the financial performance of the bank in the past few years in the international context.

The project is on industrial training in garments. Traditionally operated garments industries are facing problems like how productivity, longer production lead time, high re-work and rejection, poor line balancing, low flexibility of style changeover etc. These problems were address in this study by the implementation of lean tools like cellular manufacturing, single piece flow, work standardization, just in time production etc. After implementation of lean tools results observed were highly encouraging. Some of the production time decreased by 8%, number of the operations required to produced equal amount of garments decreased by 14%, re-work label reduced by80%, work in process inventory stays at maximum of 100 pieces from around 500 to 1500 piece. Apart from these tangible benefits operator multiskilling as well as flexibility of style changeover has been improved. This study is connected in the stitching section of shirt manufacturing company. This study includes time study, the conversation of traditional batch production into single piece flow and long assembly line into small work cells.

ABSTRACT

The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) was created in October 2005 by the Organic Law No. 09/2005 of 14/07/2005 as an independent institution to replace the former Department of Statistics in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN) and the National Bureau of Census.
Statistics is an indispensable element in the information system of a democratic society. This is the first Principle the UN Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics. Statistics support the National system made of the government, the private sector, the civil society and the general public by providing information about the people, the economy and the social situation in the country. Statistical data monitor how we are progressing as a country and as a people, when and where we are becoming weaker or stronger and why.
The purpose of this report is to explain in detail the experience that we acquired during the internship plus problems and failures that we faced. The report is also a requirement for any UR student who did internship. This report focuses primarily on the assignments handled, working environment, successes and shortcomings those we as intern did encounter when handling various tasks assigned to us by the supervisor.
Because the various parts of the report reflect the intern’s shortcomings, successes, observations and comments, it would be imperative that the recommendations are also given. Therefore the report gives a number of comments, recommendations and conclusion

The report is based on strategic Management Practice At Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd titled in: “An analysis of strategic management process of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited “. The purpose of this report is to understand how Beximco pharma formulate their overall business strategy and task they have done in order to implement their selected strategy.
