L’Italia è uno dei paesi in Europa con il maggior numero di studenti che frequentano corsi di Istruzione superiore ascrivibili all’area culturale, seppure,
nonostante lo straordinario patrimonio culturale, tangibile e intangibile di cui siamo detentori, il numero di occupati in tale ambito sia inferiore alla media europea.
La pandemia iniziata nel 2020 ha posto in luce limiti e fragilità del nostro sistema culturale, e in primo piano le discrasie nel mercato del lavoro di riferimento, criticità che riguardano buona parte dei lavoratori che a esso afferiscono, dalla discontinuità dei rapporti di lavoro sino alla inadeguatezza delle tutele; problemi latenti la cui origine è assai antecedente all’ultima emergenza.
Obiettivo di questo libro è proporre, attraverso il contributo di esperti, studiosi, professionisti del settore e rappresentanti delle istituzioni, riflessioni sull’evoluzione del mercato del lavoro culturale, alla luce delle trasformazioni socio-economiche in atto, che investono il ruolo stesso della cultura, il sistema produttivo dei settori culturali e creativi, le modalità di fruizione, le figure professionali e dunque le competenze necessarie per affrontare le nuove sfide che ci attendono, quali la transizione digitale. Il volume, che si rivolge a professionisti della cultura, ma anche a coloro che intendano intraprendere una professione in tale campo, propone riflessioni sulle prospettive reali del mercato del lavoro culturale, stante la consapevolezza che la crescita dei settori culturali e creativi è strettamente correlata allo sviluppo economico e dell’occupazione, che la cultura rappresenta uno dei punti di riferimento fondamentali su cui basare la ripresa del Paese dopo il Covid.

Vitamin D is well known as being essential for bone health. It is a group of fat-soluble
prohormones, which are converted in the body into a number of biologically active metabolites that function as true hormones, circulating in the blood and regulating the activities of various cell types - both calcemic and noncalcemic effects1. Cell responsiveness to 1,25(OH)2D3 mainly relays on VDR expression levels. The liganded VDR forms a heterodimer with retinoid X receptor (RXR) and binds to vitamin D response element (VDRE) to modulate the gene expression. The presence of
VDR in cells other than those of the intestine, bone, kidney, and parathyroid gland led to the recognition of noncalcemic actions of VDR ligands. VDR protein is expressed in almost all normal human cell types and tissues, and also in cancer cell lines and tumors of several origins. VDR downregulation has been observed in a proportion
of melanomas and colon, breast, lung, and ovarian tumors, which may jeopardize the response to therapy with vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D3, or its analogs. 1,25(OH)2D3, and its synthetic analogs, is therapeutic efficacy in skin diseases involving Vitamin D is well known as being essential for bone health. Promotion of epithelial differentiation by VDR ligands also provides a mechanistic basis for their
potential use in the treatment of actinic keratosis, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), basal cell carcinoma3'4'56 (BCC) and melanomas.
So-called, non-genomic mechanism of rapid vitamin D response has been described recently. This mechanism does not directly affect VDR, its expression, gene expression of target proteins or require additional protein synthesis75.

Objective. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of subclinical infection by agents of tick fever in dairy cattle on milk parameters, such as production, composition, and quality. Materials and methods. The study was conducted in a private farm with 75 free-stall-housed dairy cows, from which 37 were evaluated. Monthly, individual milk samples were collected for compositional (fat, lactose, protein, and total solids) and quality (somatic cell counts (SCC)) analyses. In addition, blood samples were collected in order to identify cows that were tick fever-negative and positive by PCR for one or more of the following etiological agents: Babesia bovis, Babesia bigemina and Anaplasma marginale. Results. The results showed increased SCC in positive animals for at least one of the agents when compared to non-infected cows (p<0.05). Milk production was significantly lower in A. marginale positive animals (p<0.05). An increase of about 40% in milk solids content was found in B. bovis positive cows. Also, an increment of approximately 23% in lactose was found on cows positives for B. bigemina. Conclusions. We may conclude that the presence of at least one of these parasites in dairy cattle affects composition or quality of their milk.

Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is one of the emerging materials and because of its better fresh and hardened properties, its application is increasing day by day in the construction industry. Utilizing lightweight aggregates and fibers could improve further fresh and hardened properties of SCC. But due to considerable differences between the densities of lightweight, aggregates and binders will result in poor fresh and hardened properties. In this research work, expanded polystyrene beads utilized as coarse aggregate and inclusion of different percentage ofwaste plastic fiber (WPF) has been used to find the effect on fresh and hardened properties of SCLWCthrough experiments. The results reveal better fresh properties of SCLWC; however, the optimum fresh properties achieved at E1.0 mixture. Also, the compressive and flexural strengths increased with increasing the percentage of WPF in SCLWC. Moreover, ultrasonic pulse velocity decreased with increasing WPF in SCLWC. The wet density, dry density and percent absorption showed a mixed trend of increasing and decreasing with increasing percentage of WPF; however, all these values were within the ENFARC limits for SCC. And SEM images showed the number of voids on the surface of produced SCLWC specimens.
