Waldorf Education

In Steiner's educational lectures, there is a strong focus on the role of imitation during a child's first years of life (Steiner, 2003). According to Steiner, imitation provides important impulses for childhood development and later manifests itself throughout life as a source for independent thinking and sociability. However, imitation in Steiner's oeuvre is mainly presented through an emphasis on the responsibility of adults as role models and through explicating the processes children undergo when they imitate adults. There is little discussion of mutuality and interacting communication between children and adults. This article focuses on why interaction, recognition and mutuality should be given a more prominent position within Waldorf kindergarten pedagogy. By highlighting selected educational thinkers and research, a transition during the 20th century is illustrated, demonstrating a shift from a more individual-focused pedagogy to an orientation towards interaction and relations. Relevant and contemporary approaches to understanding interaction and communication between children and adults are presented. The idea is that these perspectives may inspire an expanded understanding of imitation and a reconsideration of what is at stake in the interaction between children and adults. The argument is that Steiner's statements regarding imitation will not lose their significance, but that an element of dialogue and response can be added and thus enrich the understanding of human and material encounters in the Waldorf kindergarten. Zusammenfassung. Die Bedeutung der Nachahmung während der ersten Lebensjahre eines Kindes werden in Steiners pädagogischen Vorträgen immer wieder besonders betont (Steiner, 2003). Nach Steiner liefert die Nachahmung wichtige Impulse für die Entwicklung in den ersten sieben Jahren der Kindheit und manifes-tiert sich im Laufe des weiteren Lebens als Quelle für eigenständiges Denken und Gemeinschaftsfähigkeit. Allerdings wird die Nachahmung in Steiners Werk hauptsächlich dargestellt mit Bezug auf die Verantwortung von Erwachsenen als Vorbilder und durch die Beschreibung jener Prozesse, die in Kindern vorgehen, wenn sie Erwachsene nachahmen. Es gibt bei Steiner wenig Diskussion über mögliche Gegenseitigkeit und inter-agierende Kommunikation zwischen Kindern und Erwachsenen. Dieser Artikel konzentriert sich auf die Dar-stellung von Gründen, weshalb Interaktion, Anerkennung und Gegenseitigkeit eine zentralere Stellung in der Waldorfpädagogik im Kindergartenbereich gegeben werden sollten. Indem ausgewählte pädagogische Denker und entsprechende Forschungsergebnisse hervorgehoben werden, zeigt er, wie im 20. Jahrhundert ein allmäh-licher Übergang von einer am Individuum orientierten Pädagogik hin zu einer Orientierung an Interaktion und Beziehung stattgefunden hat. Relevante und zeitgemäße Ansätze zum Verständnis der Interaktion und Kommunikation zwischen Kindern und Erwachsenen werden vorgestellt. Die Idee ist, dass diese Perspektiven

در دو دهۀ اخیر، گفتمان تحول در آموزش و پرورش ایران، پژوهش‌های زیادی را به خود معطوف ساخته و در سطح حکومتی نیز اسناد زیادی در این راستا تدوین شده اند. در سوی مقابل، کیفیت پایین آموزش رسمی، خانواده‌های زیادی را به سمت الگوهای جایگزین آموزش رسمی در دورۀ کودکی همچون رویکردهای آموزشی برآمده از غرب - به واسطۀ شعارها و گسترش آن‌ها در سراسر جهان – علی‌رغم هزینه‌های سنگین این رویکردها، سوق داده است. اما پرسش تامل برانگیز در این میان، میزان سازواری میان فلسفۀ تربیتی زیرساز و ریشه‌های فرهنگی و اجتماعی این رویکردها با فلسفۀ تربیتی بومی جامعۀ ایران، که عمدتا با عناصر دینی در هم آمیخته است می باشد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف پاسخ‌گویی به این پرسش و با کاربست روش تحلیل فلسفی و تحلیل تطبیقی دست به استخراج مبانی و اصول سه رویکرد اروپایی مورد اقبال در ایران ‌یعنی والدورف، مونته‌سوری و رجیو امیلیا و سپس مقایسه با رویکرد اسناد تحولی زده است. نتیجه حاکی از آن است که اگرچه در لایۀ رویین، مشابهتی میان این دو نگاه و آن هم منحصرا در سطح پیش‌دبستان دیده می شود، در لایۀ زیرین فاصله ای عمیق میان آن‌ها وجود دارد که پیوستن نتایج تربیتی این رویکردها را به جریان رسمی آموزش در سال‌های بعد، با چالش مواجه خواهد کرد.

O projeto aqui apresentado teve como objetivo desenvolver reflexões sobre a atual educação do Brasil, e também sobre a Arte-Educação e o conceito de Liberdade, seguindo as linhas de pensamento do austríaco, Rudolf Steiner, criador da Pedagogia Waldorf, e do brasileiro, Paulo Freire, criador da Pedagogia do Oprimido. O estudo também apresenta crítica sobre o ensino tradicionalista, e busca encontrar uma alternativa mais humanitária de educação para a Liberdade, trazendo como possíveis soluções a Arte-Educação por meio da Pedagogia Waldorf e sua base de aplicação epistemológica unida a pensamentos críticos apresentados na Pedagogia do Oprimido.

Este libro presenta las metodologías, principios pedagógicos y experiencias de Gamestar(t), proyecto de la Asociación Cultural ARSGAMES que parte de la consideración de las potencialidades de la introducción de tecnologías en el ámbito de la educación libre, basada en los principios de autogestión del aprendizaje, antiautoritarismo y educación integral. A lo largo del libro se realiza un recorrido tanto por los principios pedagógicos como por los entresijos más cotidianos de este proyecto que nos llevará a plantearnos desde otra perspectiva el papel que pueden adoptar las nuevas tecnologías en un modelo de pedagogías libres.

The Waldorf pedagogy, based on anthroposophy, was designed by Rudolf Steiner in
Germany. The first school was founded in 1919. The main objective of this proposal is human
development. From the literature survey, this paper presents concepts and principles of
Waldorf education, as well as its history, motivations and characteristics, aiming to increase
the understanding of this Pedagogy and describing its foundations. The literature search was
performed using books and data. While result of bases, from the study of the theoretical
concepts, it was possible to describe the fundamentals, present concepts and principles, in
addition to expanding the understanding of the Waldorf pedagogy. Starting from the Waldorf
context, were also exposed the principle sofearly childhood education.
