The book is a doctrine on economic justice, in which author has penned a new theory of ‘Line of Wealth’ that is based on economic rights, equality and justice. It rejects the popular approach of Line of Poverty. The book discusses social, ideological, political and justice aspects of national economies and concludes with the fiscal theory of one-tax system – the taxation based on taxing the wealthy at higher scale and distribute the revenues equally among all citizens. It also professes a ceiling on the wealth possession beyond which the wealth-tax be imposed. Besides, it argues abolishing all other forms of domestic taxes.

Our present taxation system is a curse to our society. It is far away from justice, truth and logic. It is based on full of fraudulent concept and belief. It is the tool of loot of common people and the tool of prosperous section for their inadequate profiteering. It has created corruptions and immorality in our society. It has become a tool for our exploitation; particularly the common people and the poor. It has given birth to poverty, scarcity, unemployment, corruption, conflicts and tensions. On the pretext of various taxes, we are bound to pay and being crushed and tortured by the officials. This is open loot by the officials and government that is making us helpless. They are snatching our hard earned money in the name of various taxes. We have lost our peace of mind and living due to various taxes. This tax structure is very complex and complicated and roots of corruption. It is being manipulated by the officials and bigwigs and we are compelled to lead a miserable life under the burden of taxes. Let us see the various tax systems in our country and evaluate them: 1. Direct Taxes-There are several forms of Direct Taxes in our country. (a) Income Tax-It is a major tax on our income above certain limit. This limit is not judicious. The rate of taxation is very high (30%-40%) in our country. The calculation system is very cumbersome. It gives us very few reliefs and many troubles. We have to keep track with the Income Tax department which evaluate our income and expenditure but the department is full of corruption and we are perplexed in many ways. The level of tax exemption limit is not sufficient as per demand of the day. Our major income (75%-80%) goes in day to day expenses and we cannot save for the future. It makes us poor, indebted and dependent on others in case of any emergency. This has made people corrupt and dishonest. There is a wide gap between the rich and poor. The rich are becoming richer and poor are becoming poorer or poverty ridden.
