This study examined the benefits in the reorientation of teacher education towards job creation. The study adopted the descriptive design. Fourty seven (47) items questionnaires on Identification of benefits that necessitate the reorientation of teacher education towards job creation (IBNRTETJC) were used for data collection. A total of five hundred (500) copies of questionnaires were distributed and four hundred and eighty one (483) copies were retrieved which formed the sample size of the study. Five research questions were raised to guide the study. The data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation while t-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The finding showed that high level of unemployment, poverty, need for job creation, lack of creative and innovative abilities among trained teachers in Rivers State make the demand for reorientation of teacher education to accommodate wealth creation. Based on the findings, recommendations are made among them are: there should be paradigm shift from theoretical teaching to practical application of knowledge, Curriculum planners should consider wealth creating plans in teacher training institutions.

Таким образом, следствием финансиализации является рост необеспеченных доходов и богатства, которые влекут за собой рост неравенства за счет опережающего роста крупнейших состояний. Это приводит к разбалансировке роста экономики и заводит ее в тупик.

Property Tax compliance has been an issue for constant debate since the legislation on Local Property Tax was enacted in 2012. This had led to high proportion of tax compliance in the year that this taxation regime was introduced. It is believed that compliance rates achieved for Local Property Tax in its first year is dramatic, so that its review provides a general understanding on the success of this tax and shows its positive impact on Local Authorities.
This research will assess the rate of success of the Local Property Tax since its start; particular focus would be on the year 2014 and 2015 relevant tax years. The factors that have led to its success rate would be mentioned. In this research, the quantitative methodology would be used for collection of data that is relevant to the research.
The research findings were varied among which were that there is no significant correlation between the mandatory deductions at source and compliance rates as well as the identification of the highest and lowest response rate Local Authorities to mention but a few.

Poverty and inequality are certainly among the main concerns in developing countries. This study examines the empirical relationship between economic inequality and poverty through the channels of taxes. The main purpose of this study is to understand how fighting inequality can be used to tackle poverty may be influenced or constrained by high levels of inequality. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development seeks to eradicate poverty, increase access to basic services, protect and preserve the environment, foster economic growth, and development, and ensure peace and stability in all countries through comprehensive and integrated actions. The objectives addressed are the determination of inequalities and poverty levels in developing countries. Reducing inequalities is an important goal in its own right. But it has other benefits. It can also be a catalyst for economic growth, poverty reduction and ensuring no-one is left behind. The findings are backed by statistical data from surveys, research, and reports. With reference to the analytical insights studied, the paper arrives at conclusive findings point to significant gaps in that developing countries there has been tremendous progress in the measurement of inequality and poverty in the developing countries, although serious problems of consistency and comparability still remain. A successful strategy of poverty reduction must have at its core measures to promote rapid and sustained economic growth. The challenge for policy is to combine growth promoting policies with policies that allow the poor to participate fully in the opportunities unleashed and so contribute to that growth. This includes policies to make labor markets work better, remove gender inequalities and increase financial inclusion.
