Abstract Although edible insect and live seafood restaurants are gaining attention worldwide, there is still limited research on what types of risks consumers associate with these unconventional restaurants and their resulting intentions to visit them during the occurrence of worldwide COVID-19. Therefore, this study combines perceived risk theory and protection motivation theory to propose several antecedents towards consumer's intention to visit edible insect and live seafood restaurants. Surveys conducted from edible insect restaurants (Sample A) and seafood restaurants (Sample B) were analyzed using PLS-SEM. Results showed that only perceived vulnerability, psychological risk, and sensation seeking influence customers' intention to visit both types of restaurants. Perceived severity, financial risk, environmental risk, and social risk do not influence customers' intentions to visit such restaurants.

For the integration of ambient energy sources into implantable/wearable microelectronics, the development of efficient and high‐power energy storage devices is essential (such as electrostatic or dielectric capacitors). In light of the general need for small components for energy storage devices, the development of fluorite‐based three‐dimensional structured electrostatic capacitors is expected to open new paths for the future development of on‐chip energy storage, especially because of their enhanced capacity at low deposition thicknesses (in nanometers).

Abstract In this work, a facile polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) assisted solvothermal route using mixed solvents was reported to synthesize uniform quaternary chalcogenide Cu2FeSnS4 (CFTS) particles. PVP played a crucial role in tuning the shape and size of the resulted CFTS particles. Without PVP irregular shaped CFTS particles were obtained, however, quasi-spherical CFTS particles were produced by addition of PVP. The average particle sizes of particles were in the range of ~ 360 to ~ 230 nm. Moreover, the photodegradation of Rhodamine-B (RhB) with CFTS particles under visible light was investigated and optimized in terms of PVP concentration, catalyst dosage, dye concentration and pH of the solution. The quenching experiments for reactive species indicates that both hydroxyl and superoxide radicals play roles in the photodegradation. The stability of the as-prepared CFTS particles was demonstrated by reusing it in five consecutive degradation cycles.

ABSTRACT Based upon a rigorous psychometric process of scale development through preliminary qualitative studies and a subsequent survey in the resort hotel setting, the authors propose the RESERVE scale as a comprehensive instrument for assessing resort hotel service performance. The proposed scale conceptualizes resort hotel service performance as a second-order, three-dimensional construct that assesses tourists' perceptions of setting, audience, and actors. The data supports the dimensional structure of RESERVE, providing empirical evidence for the scale's validity. The paper concludes with a discussion of implications and future research directions.

The possibility of losing valuable liquid and lower gas well deliverability have made gas condensate reservoirs very important and extra emphasizes are made to optimize hydrocarbon recovery from a gas condensate reservoir. Methods like methanol treatments, wettability alteration and hydraulic fracturing are done to restore the well deliverability by removing or by passing the condensate blockage region. The above mentioned methods are applied in the near wellbore region and only improve the well deliverability temporarily while gas deliverability is maintained permanently by maintaining reservoir pressure above the dewpoint pressure by injecting fluid-traditionally produced gas. In this report, the importance of water influx and water flooding on the performance of gas condensate reservoir is studied through fine gridded compositional simulation models. It is shown that water drive can significantly increase the ultimate oil and gas recoveries of a gas condensate reservoir.

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of an international airport's physical environment on passengers' delight and behavioural intentions. Moreover, this study also aimed to assess the moderating role of national identity on the relationship between physical environment and passengers' delight. A convenient sampling technique was used to select the sample. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, out of which 271 were returned and used for further analysis (90% response rate). The result from the finding suggests that physical environment in an international airport influences passengers' delight and behavioural intentions. Moreover, national identity portrayed in airport moderates the relationship between physical environment and passengers' delight. Overall, findings of this study extends the understanding of physical environment, passengers' delight and national identity in the conte...

ABSTRACT Prior literature has mainly focused on the conceptualisation and examination of tourist behaviour in general. This study attempts to examine international business travellers’ experience with luxury hotel restaurants and propose foodservice experience as a key driver of satisfaction, dining frequency and dining expenditure in formation of causal relationships. A total of 278 questionnaires were collected to conduct statistical analysis. Partial least squares (PLS) based structural equation modelling (SEM) technique was performed to assess the proposed relationships. Empirical findings support the positive relationship between foodservice experience, customer satisfaction, their dining frequency and dining expenditure. It was found that customer satisfaction positively influences their dining expenditure while the proposed positive relationship between customer satisfaction and their dining frequency was not supported. Furthermore, the first order constructs on the designated second order construct support customer foodservice experience as second order reflective construct with four dimensions comprising of product component, service component, price component and healthy component. The practical implications and limitation are discussed in detail.

Mineral aggregates are the basic material of highway pavement construction as they are not only required to resist the internal stresses induced in the pavement due to traffic load, but also the wear due to abrasion by the traffic and adverse weather conditions. The pavement throughout its life should have some friction to facilitate the car wheels on pavement surface. In Pakistan there are large number of quarries/sources of aggregates for highways construction and this research is intended to study the skid resistance and polishing value of aggregates from various quarries of Pakistan and compared with the quarries of Afghanistan using the standard test procedure BS 812: Part 114: 1989. The results show that the aggregate from the Margalla source has more resistance to Polishing and high skid resistance. Marshall Samples were also prepared at different Bitumen Content and gradations and their surface skid resistance is tested using British Pendulum Skid Resistance tester, and it w...

ABSTRACT Despite of the excellent growth of Spa industry in Malaysia over the last decade, research on the formation of spa-going tourists is scant. To cater this research gap, the current study adopted Oliver’s (1997) four-stage loyalty theory and attempted to discuss the attitudinal and behavioral loyalty development process of spa-going tourists. Data was collected from a total of 310 tourists who visited Spas in Malaysia using a survey questionnaire. Purposive sampling was used to draw the sample and SEM approach was used in the study to assess the model. Results of the study indicated that cognitive image significantly influence affect, conative intention, and behavioral loyalty; moreover, affect was also proved to be a significant predictor of conative intention and behavioral loyalty. Therefore, spas in Malaysia need to pay attention to develop and maintain better marketing and management strategies in order to improve tourists’ attitudinal and behavioral loyalty aspects.
