Bu bölümler; 27 farklı üniversiteden, alanında uzman 61 yazar tarafından kaleme alınmıştır. Başta BÖTE olmak üzere teknoloji ve eğitimle ilgili tüm bölümlerde öğrenim gören lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencilerinin, bu bölümlerde görev yapan öğretim elemanlarının, kısacası eğitim/öğretim ortamlarında teknolojiyi etkin olarak kullanmaya çalışan herkesin temel bilgi ve becerilerine katkıda bulunabilecek bir eserdir.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the processes of programming teaching in the context of Information Technologies and Software course. In the study where qualitative research method was adopted, teachers' answers to open-ended questions were subjected to content analysis and common themes were created. Within this scope, nine Information Technology Teachers graduated from different programs, working in different regions and different school types have answered open-ended questions. Teachers defined their knowledge as intermediate and above-sufficient in terms of block-based programming tools, and expressed themselves as beginner or not competent, especially for physical programming environments. From the Oregon Trail to today's highly interactive games, many games have been used to support learning in many subjects. To state it specifically about peace education, the history of digital games for peace education started with My City (1995), supported by UNICEF, continued with games aiming different learning subjects, such as Escape from Woomera (2003), Ayiti (2006), PeaceMaker (2007), Hush (2007) and This War of Mine (2014). A large majority of university students use social networking sites (SNS) actively. Nevertheless, there are very limited studies examining students’ perceptions about student-teacher relationships in SNSs comprehensively. The purpose of this research was to investigate university students’ perceptions about interacting with their teachers in SNSs, and to this end an exploratory mixed-methods design was utilised. Qualitative data were collected from 21 students via interviews, and quantitative data from 1,324 students in 19 universities in Turkey via a questionnaire. Content analysis, descriptive analysis and principal component analysis methods were used to analyse the data. The content analysis contributed to the formulation of the questionnaire items. Focusing on the technology integration process can offer another perspective and a contribution towards understanding the related factors and strategies of utilization of technology for instruction. The purpose of this study was to understand how a computer science teacher utilized an online learning environment and to reveal possible strategies and enablers of utilization process. Purposive sampling method was used as qualitative research paradigm. In line with the purpose of the study, a computer teacher was selected as the sample target of the study. Results showed that the teacher utilized the online learning environment for preparing and supporting classroom instruction. Project-based learning (PjBL) has been promoted as an effective and frequently used student-centered learning approach for various learning environments. To have various learning experiences with PjBL is an important requirement for pre-service teachers (PSTs). The purpose of the study was to investigate the experiences PSTs had with group work and collaboration, resources and research methods, the problems they faced, and the strategies they used to overcome these problems during the information and communications technology (ICT)-integrated PjBL process, as well as their thoughts concerning learning processes in PjBL. This study investigated the students’ and teacher’ s perception of a web-based learning tool for an English course which was given as a second language at elementary level. The site was used as a supplementary material for 8th grade students in METU College. The researcher developed the site specifically for this study and in the development process internet and database technologies were used.The data were collected from the 22, 8th grade students through a computer attitude scale and a questionnaire, which was developed by the researcher. An interview with the course teacher was conducted. Descriptive statistics, frequency distributions and researcher observation were used to express the results of the study. The results showed that the site was perceived positively by more than half of the students in terms of vocabulary learning through the dictionary and activities page.
