Zhana Popova. BUSINESS PARK – CITY IN THE CITY Since 2001 in the big Bulgarian cities a new phenomenon has appeared – the Business park. For now only the Business parks in Varna and Sofia are working. But it can be said that the change in the city is evident. The main thesis is that the emergence of business zones in the city landscape and the functioning of the business parks and business centers is connected with the development of the interrelations between the employees inside these places, which totally differ from the attitudes in the familiar offices in the city until now. The proximity of the business zones to the residential districts can lead to a collision between the people who work during the day in the residential district, and the people who live there, and want to rest when they go home. But the neighboring between them can lead to similarities in their attitude towards the activities of the municipality administration and the management of the municipality or the ci...

Съставители и организатори на академичното тържество са: Майя Грекова, Петя Кабакчиева, Момчил Христов, Милена Якимова.

Abstract: In the end of September 2021 one of the celebrations of the academic community took place – colleagues and friends congratulated prof. Lilyana Deyanova with the publishing of the anniversary anthology ‘Time and Memory’. Compilers and organizers of the academic celebration are Maya Grekova, Petya Kabakchieva, Momchil Hristov, Milena Yakimova.

Резюме: В текста са представени основните изводи от изследването на политическите послания в турските сериали, излъчвани по българските телевизии и по "Нетфликс". Основните политически послания във филмите, показвани по българските телевизии, са свързани с въпроса кой носи отговорността за решенията, свързани с живота на жената и на детето. Сред важните политически теми са миграцията, образованието в чужбина и завръщането в родината, конфликтите между богати и бедни.

Abstract: The text presents the main conclusions based on the study of the political messages in the Turkish series broadcasted on Bulgarian television and on Netflix.
The main political messages in the series, showed on Bulgarian television, are the responsibility for decisions, connect with the life of a woman and a child. Among the important political topics are: migration, education abroad and returning home, conflicts between rich and poor.

The text presents the results of a study of stories about everyday life during the last years of the socialist past (1983-1989) by representatives of a specific professional group-'Estrada musicians'. The main goal is to highlight the differences in the two regimes of history in the memories of the socialist popular culture. The first regime of remembrance (1990-1992) is a time of the emotionally charged anti-communist speech in the media like the Democracy newspaper, and vice versa-a strong defense of socialist values in the Duma newspaper. The second regime of remembrance is after 2010, when "nostalgia for socialism" stands out as one of the dominant emotions.

This study takes a snapshot of journalist writing in the most visited
media websites in Bulgarian language and the three most popular television channels in the country. The aim is to establish what are the ethical violations most commonly committed in journalist materials, predominantly news. The main quests are linked to establishing the topics on which the journalist devices of increasing the sensationalism of materials and of neglecting the professional standards are being used most often. The researchers are led by the philosophy of the “Code of Ethics of Bulgarian Media” which reflects the general principles of journalist work. The researchers assume that they are generally valid for the ones practicing the profession of journalism irrespective of the fact that the media being studied might not be a party to the code. Резюме: Изследването на медийните публикации и тв предавания след 1989 г. с участието на една определена група музиканти – правещите естрадна музика творци – показва, че има област, в която властта на публиката е необходимост, за да бъде запазена властта на автора. Естрадните музиканти говорят за публиката си като за „добър човек“; за дете, което трябва да възпитават и учат как да разпознава стойностната музика. В периода 1990-2017 г. музикантите рисуват няколко основни образа на публиката: на сватбарската публика, на родителите и детето в публиката, но непрестанно припомнян е и образът на „феномена съветска публика“. Един от основните резултати от изследването е, че музикантите ясно разграничават „концертната публика“ и „медийната публика“ като въображаеми общности.

Summary: The research of the media publications and TV shows after 1989 with the participation of a certain group of musicians - the artists making Estrada - shows that there is an area where the power of the audience is a necessity that preserves the power of the author. The Estrada musicians describe their audience as a ‘good person’ or a child, they need to teach how to recognize valuable music. In the period 1990 - 2017 the musicians draw a couple of key images of the audience: the weddings audience, the parents and the child in the audience, the supranational symbol, the constantly reminded image of the “phenomenon soviet audience”. A key finding of the research is that the musicians clearly distinguish between “concert audience” and “media audience” as imaginary communities.

Since 2001 in the big Bulgarian cities a new phenomenon has appeared – the Business park. The main thesis is that the emergence of business zones in the city landscape and the functioning of the business parks and business centers is connected with the development of the interrelations between the employees inside these places, which totally differ from the attitudes in the familiar offices in the city until now. The proximity of the business zones to the residential districts can lead to a collision between the people who work during the day in the residential district, and the people who live there, and want to rest when they go home. But the neighboring between them can lead to similarities in their  attitude towards the activities of the municipality administration and the management of the municipality or the city. They may turn out to be with close interests, instead of being opposed groups. This text presents the main results from a research of the attitudes between the people who live near the new business parks and those who work there.

The paper presents the results from a study on the annual 'Rose celebrations' held in the towns of Kazanlak and Karlovo. The study focuses on the stories about the towns of Karlovo and Kazanlak told by the media and the museums of the rose, as well as on the way the beauty contest and music are used in the stories on a local holiday that the whole nation prides itself on.

The text presents part of the results of a larger research about what and how the media write about the „estrade” and the „pop” music after 1990. How was the connection between music and politics during socialism and the transition to democracy portrayed in the newspapers after 1990? What are the political messages in the journalistic stories that come from the figures of the Estrada music? Here you will find the results and the analysis of the selected research questions only between 2006 and 2009. This is a period after and before elections during which rallies, and party concerts are not key events. Instead the TVs start to use the Estrada musicians in a new way. They invite them to be part of the juries of blooming TV reality shows. The Estrada musicians are turned into a public „censor” dictating what is the role or the musician in the society.
