Es relevante conocer la historia de las fuentes de donde surge la obra de Don Juan Manuel, para poder entender el por qué de la composición de los ejemplos del Conde Lucanor, vislumbrar la visión de oriente y su impacto en la obra de DJM. Pocos estudios abordan la perspectiva del mundo mahometano por las dificultades que implican sus limitantes político-religioso, un claro ejemplo de esta problemática son las leyes que implican enterrar libros sagrados desgastados como el Corán y la imposición de nuevas versiones de estos libros por reyes y líderes espirituales. El impacto de la tradición, árabe-judía es trascendental para la composición del Conde Lucanor. Mientras más se desconozca sobre el mundo árabe y sus influencias sobre las tradiciones orales y escritas cristianas, menor serán la visión y perspectiva de esta obra en la actualidad.

The purpose of this paper is to give an account of the debate on narrativity in games and discuss the problem through an analysis of some examples. The video game industry has exponentially developed for more than 30 years, even though in the 80s the game industry suffered a crisis due an excessive offer of products that didn’t satisfy the consumers demand, still it survived and thrived; it brought new technological advances and also developed new concepts of what a videogames are.

The following study was focused within the connections between two narrative phenomena apparently not related: the medieval epic novel and the adventure games (quest games). One is represented by El Amadís de Gaula and the other one by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The main common point between both worlds is given by the figure of the avatar, which is materializing in different ways. The concept of ergodic literature (text-game) as a modality of cybertext and its relationship with the receptor (reader)-player.
