Despite of the pandemic and the modular learning the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) continue,
instead of preparing hot meals the school will delivered or picked up by the parents the nutritious food
products (nutribun,nutrichips & nutriblend) and fresh milk for the beneficiaries.
The nutribun (nutritious bread) that being distributed was made from the local bakery located in our
barangay. This act shows the patriotism and helping local business in times of pandemic.
The Division Inspectorate team together with our District Nurse inspected the nutribun to assured the
quality of the said products.
In the distribution, the school delegate a purok leaders who will pick up the nutritious foods and milk in
the school and will distribute it to the beneficiaries with in her/his area.
Funds are properly liquidated by the SBFP Coordinator, School Head & BAC members.
Said programs is very effective because there is a significant improvement on the nutritional status of the
beneficiaries and it also enhanced the bonding of the school to the community and the parents.
