I. INTRODUCTION
This Meals on Wheels Program is designed to continue what the school has
started for learners who need enough attention to cater their needs when it comes
to attain better physical health and proper nutrition. Moreover, the program is a
great help to meet the needs of the learners who are not in the right weight. The
program is a collaborative project of Feeding Program and Wellness Committee
which aims to promote healthier lifestyles and encourage the learners to improve
their physical health.
These goals cannot be achieved without the effort of committed, dedicated,
hardworking and competent TLE and MAPEH teachers headed by Mrs. Mary Grace
A. Dumanig, Head Teacher I in TLE and of course our very supportive principal Sir
William B. Bartolome.
The proponents believe that this program might help the learners to have access
in good health and nutrition especially in these challenging times. The team firmly
believes that through the generous company like Agro- Bounty Corporation,
Chooks To-Go has the power to fulfill this one the extravagant, responsive and
timely projects of the school to eradicate or eliminate malnutrition. Meals on
Wheels is the new strategy and scheme of the Feeding Program together with
Wellness Committee in implementing the service for the school, with collaboration
of Agro-Bounty Corporation, Chooks To-Go as major donor/sponsor of this
project.
As a result, we successfully delivered nutritious foods to beneficiaries with the
help of committed and dedicated Punta riders.

II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

“Our interest in school feeding programs goes beyond the direct education benefits
and looks at school feeding programs as part of a holistic school health initiative.”
 Hon. Dr. James Gesami, Assistant Minister of Public Health and Sanitation,
Kenya
Schools are at the heart of many communities. As a result, they provide entry
points to educate the broader community about good health practices. When
school feeding programs provide a variety of nutritious foods, they transform
children’s eating habits. These habits are then transferred to parents and other
family members. This project is headed with our very supportive school principal
Sir William B. Bartolome and Mrs. Mary Grace A. Dumanig, TLE head teacher.
The Feeding Coordinator Mrs. Marita S. Gonzales together with Sir Terrence C.
Santos II, MAPEH coordinator heedfully supported the project by soliciting any
needs of the children which can help for them to become healthier. The MAPEH
and TLE Coordinator were very hands on to make sure that it will not fall apart.
They continue to motivate teachers helping children despite of the situation.

the secondary and 10 from the elementary. The food being given were from
